Keep away from flame sources such as lighted candles.
The table speaker should not be exposed to direct sunlight,
very high or low temperature, vibrations, strong magnetic
fields, high frequencies and dusty environments.
Make sure ventilation is not be impeded by covering
the ventilation openings with items, such as
newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
This product contains a built-in Li-ion battery. It must
be used and charged properly. Improper use can cause
the battery to catch fire or explode resulting in serious
or fatal injury
Never attempt to insert wires, pins or other such
objects into the vents or openings of the unit.
Do not disassemble or modify the speaker housing,
there are no user serviceable parts.
If the speaker is damaged in anyway or malfunctions
do not use. Consult a qualified service engineer.
Do not use abrasives, benzene, thinner or other
solvents to clean the surface of the unit. To clean, wipe
with clean soft cloth and a mild detergent solution on
the table top.
This product contains a Li-ion battery and should be
disposed of appropriately. Do not dispose of it with
household waste at the end of its life cycle; hand it over
to a collection centre for the recycling of electrical and
electronic appliances with batteries. Please check with
your Local Authority for recycling advice.

Assembling your Rest table speaker
Before you get started please read the safety information on pages 2-3.
Your Rest speaker is supplied with four legs with built in screws that fit into
corresponding threaded sockets on the underside of the speaker as shown above.
1. Place the speaker upside down on clean flat non abrasive surface with the leg
sockets facing upwards
2. Align the screw on the end of each leg with one of the threaded sockets on the
underside of the table and screw gently into position taking care not to cross
thread the screws. Make sure all four legs are screwed firmly into the sockets
then place the table upright close to a wall socket ready for charging.

Charging your Rest table speaker
Your Rest speaker has a built-in non user-replaceable Lithium battery allowing it to be
fully operational without being dependent on a connection to a wall socket. For best
results, the first time you use the speaker, let it charge for 4-5 hours until fully charged.
1. Plug the power adaptor supplied into a mains socket
2. Plug the power adaptor jack plug into the DC socket (9) on the back of the speaker
table. Make sure the mains socket is switched on. The table Mode LED (7) will light
up Red.
When the table is fully charged the Red LED will go out (and flash Blue in Bluetooth
pairing mode).
When disconnected the battery charge level will be affected by the speaker volume,
connection method and also the number and type of devices that are being charged.
When the battery level is low the Mode LED (7) will flash slowly and you will hear a
chime which will repeat every 20 seconds.
Powering your Table Speaker
Long press the power button (1) to switch on and enter Bluetooth mode (blue LED
(7) will fast flash). Long press and release the power button (1) to switch off.
Bluetooth Connection
With your table speaker in Bluetooth mode and the Mode LED (7) flashing Blue (or
steady red with flashing purple if the power adaptor is connected) enter the Bluetooth
menu on your phone or other Bluetooth device. Search for “i-box Rest” in the menu,
select and pair.

When you successfully pair your speaker and device, you will hear a chime and
the blue LED (or steady red with flashing purple) will stop flashing and will remain
constantly lit.
To pair to a different Bluetooth device long press the Play/Pause button (2)
you will hear a chime and the Blue LED will start flashing to indicate that your speaker
has disconnected and re-entered pairing mode.
Bluetooth Audio Playback
You can use your Bluetooth device to control music playback. Alternatively the
buttons on the control panel of the Rest can be used to play/pause (short press 2)
and navigate between tracks / (long press 3 & 4). To control the volume you
can use the controls on your Bluetooth device or on the speaker control panel (short
press -/+ buttons 3 & 4) .
AUX IN Mode
An AUX IN port (8) is provided for connection to non-Bluetooth devices.
1. Connect a compatible audio device using a 3.5mm stereo jack cable (not supplied)
connected to the AUX IN socket (8) on the back of the Rest.
Short press the Power/Mode button (1) to enter AUX mode.
The LED (7) will flash blue slowly (every second) when the speaker is in AUX mode.

Ensure the connected device is producing an audio signal, then adjust the volume
using a combination of the audio source volume controls and the / (3 & 4)
buttons on the speaker control panel. To control playback use the controls on your
AUX device
To return to Bluetooth mode short press the Power/Mode button (1).
Wireless Charging
The Rest table speaker features a unique wireless
charging zone located as shown opposite.
Place any Qi wireless charging enabled mobile device
directly onto this zone when the speaker is switched on
(or on charge), your device will begin charging and the
Wireless Charging LED (6) will light up Green.
Please Note:
The Wireless Charging LED (6) will flash Green if metallic objects other than Qi
enabled devices are placed in the charging area. Please remove them from the
charging area immediately as they can represent a hazard and could cause a fire.

If problems occur when charging or charging doesn’t start:
•Adjust the phone position continuously until the wireless charging LED lights up.
•If your Rest table speaker is in battery mode (disconnected from the mains) make
sure it is switched on to enable wireless charging.
•Remove your smartphone from its case if the thickness of the case exceeds 5mm
or if it has a metal composition.
•The built-in wireless charge receiver may not be located centrally inside the
phone, place the phone slightly off centre from the cross.
•Charging time varies depending on the battery’s capacity and its residual charge.
•The components may heat up during the charging process. They will slowly cool
down after charging.
Power Saving
Power Saving: If there is no Bluetooth audio input for 10 minutes your Rest table
speaker will automatically power off even if wireless charging is being used.
USB Charging
For mobiles and other devices that don’t have wireless charging capability a 5V𝌂1 Amp
USB charging port (5) is provided on the back panel of your table speaker. When the
speaker is either switched on, or connected to mains power, the USB port will be
active and ready to charge. Use your mobile’s standard charging cable to connect to
the USB charging port.

Tischlautsprechers vollständig durch.

Mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllte Gegenstände wie etwa
Vasen dürfen nicht in der Nähe des Tischlautsprechers
platziert werden.

Zusammenbau Ihres Rest Tischlautsprechers
Bitte lesen Sie zuerst die Sicherheitsinformationen auf den Seiten 2–3.
Ihr Rest Lautsprecher wird mit vier Beinen mit eingebauten Schrauben geliefert, die
wie oben abgebildet in die entsprechenden Gewindefassungen an der Unterseite
des Lautsprechers passen.
1. Stellen Sie den Lautsprecher kopfüber auf eine saubere, flache, abriebfeste
Oberfläche, sodass die Beinfassungen nach oben zeigen.
2. Richten Sie die Schraube am Ende jedes Beines auf eine der Gewindefassungen
an der Unterseite des Tisches aus und drehen Sie sie vorsichtig hinein. Die
Schrauben dürfen sich nicht kreuzen. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass alle drei Beine
fest in die Fassungen geschraubt sind. Stellen Sie dann den Tisch aufrecht in die
Nähe einer Wandsteckdose zum Aufladen.

Laden Ihres Rest Tischlautsprechers
Ihr Rest Lautsprecher verfügt über einen eingebauten, nicht austauschbaren Lithium-
Akku, sodass dieser voll funktionsfähig ist, ohne dass er an eine Wandsteckdose
angeschlossen werden muss. Die besten Ergebnisse erzielen Sie, wenn Sie den
Lautsprecher bei der ersten Benutzung 4 - 5 Stunden lang aufladen lassen, bis er
vollständig aufgeladen ist.
1. Stecken Sie das mitgelieferte Netzteil in eine Netzsteckdose
2. Stecken Sie den Klinkenstecker des Netzteils in den Gleichstromanschluss (9)
auf der Rückseite des Tischlautsprechers. Stellen Sie sicher, dass die Netzsteckdose
eingeschaltet ist. Die LED-Modus-Anzeige des Tisches (7) leuchtet rot auf.
Wenn der Tisch vollständig aufgeladen ist, erlischt das rote LED-Licht (und blinkt blau
im Bluetooth-Kopplungs-Modus).
Beim Trennen der Verbindung wird der Ladezustand des Akkus von der Lautsprecher-
lautstärke, der Verbindungsmethode und auch von der Anzahl und Art der zu lad-
enden Geräte beeinflusst. Wenn der Akkustand niedrig ist, blinkt das LED-Modus-Li-
cht (7) langsam und Sie hören einen Signalton, der alle 20 Sekunden wiederholt wird.
Bedienung Ihres Tischlautsprechers
Halten Sie die Ein-/Aus-Taste (1) länger gedrückt, um das Gerät einzuschalten und in
den Bluetooth-Modus zu wechseln (das blaue LED-Licht (7) blinkt schnell). Halten Sie
die Ein-/Aus-Taste (1) länger gedrückt und lassen Sie diese dann los, um das Gerät
auszuschalten.

Bluetooth-Verbindung
Wenn sich Ihr Tischlautsprecher im Bluetooth-Modus befindet und das LED-Modus-
Licht (7) blau blinkt (oder bei angeschlossenem Netzteil kontinuierlich rot bleibt
und lila blinkt), rufen Sie das Bluetooth-Menü Ihres Telefons oder einem anderen
Bluetooth-Gerät auf. Wählen Sie im Menü „i-box Rest“ und koppeln Sie die Geräte
miteinander.
Bei erfolgreicher Kopplung Ihres Lautsprechers und Gerätes, hören Sie einen Signalton
und die blaue LED-Anzeige (oder kontinuierlich rot bleibt und lila blinkt) hört auf zu
blinken und leuchtet konstant.
Um eine Kopplung mit einem anderen Bluetooth-Gerät durchzuführen, drücken Sie
etwas länger auf die Wiedergabe-/Pause-Taste (2)
und Sie hören einen Signalton; das blaue LED-Licht beginnt zu blinken, um zu
signalisieren, dass Ihr Lautsprecher die Verbindung getrennt hat und wieder in den
Kopplungsmodus gewechselt ist.
Bluetooth-Audio-Wiedergabe
Sie können Ihr Bluetooth-Gerät zur Steuerung der Musikwiedergabe verwenden.Sie
können auch die Tasten auf der Steuerfläche des Rest Lautsprechers zum Abspielen/
Pausieren (kurzes Drücken von 2) und zur Navigation zwischen den Titeln
verwenden / (langes Drücken von 3 und 4). Um die Lautstärke zu ändern,
können Sie die Regler an Ihrem Bluetooth-Gerät oder auf der Steuerfläche des
Lautsprechers verwenden (kurz -/+ drücken der Tasten 3 und 4).
AUX IN-Modus
Ein AUX IN-Anschluss (8) ist für die Verbindung mit Nicht-Bluetooth-Geräten vorgesehen.
1. Schließen Sie ein kompatibles Audiogerät mit einem 3,5-mm-Stereoklinkenkabel
(nicht mitgeliefert) an die AUX IN-Buchse (8) auf der Rückseite des Rest
Lautsprechers an. Drücken Sie kurz die Ein-/Aus- bzw. Modus-Taste (1), um den
AUX-Modus aufzurufen.Die LED-Licht (7) blinkt langsam (sekündlich) blau, wenn
sich der Lautsprecher im AUX-Modus befindet.
2. Vergewissern Sie sich, dass das angeschlossene Gerät ein Audiosignal erzeugt,
und stellen Sie dann die Lautstärke mit einer Kombination aus den
Lautstärkereglern der Audioquelle und den Tasten / (3 und 4) auf der
Lautsprechersteuerfläche ein. Zur Steuerung der Wiedergabe verwenden Sie die
Bedienelemente Ihres AUX-Geräts.
Drücken Sie kurz die Ein-/Aus- bzw. Modus-Taste (1), um in den Bluetooth-Modus
zurückzukehren.

Kabelloses Laden
Der Rest Tischlautsprecher verfügt über eine einzigartige
kabellose Ladezone, die sich wie nebenstehend
abgebildet befindet.
Platzieren Sie ein beliebiges Mobilgerät, das kabelloses
Laden von Qi ermöglicht, direkt in dieser Ladezone, wenn
der Lautsprecher eingeschaltet ist (oder sich im
Ladezustand befindet). Ihr Gerät beginnt mit dem Aufladen
und das LED-Licht (6) für kabelloses Aufladen leuchtet grün.
Hinweis:
Das LED-Licht für kabelloses Laden (6) blinkt grün, wenn metallische Gegenstände,
die keine Qi-fähigen Geräte sind, in den Ladebereich platziert werden. Bitte
entfernen Sie diese sofort aus dem Ladebereich, da sie eine Gefahr darstellen und
einen Brand verursachen können.
Wenn beim Laden Probleme auftreten oder der Ladevorgang nicht startet:
•Stellen Sie die Position des Mobilgeräts kontinuierlich ein, bis die LED-Licht für
kabelloses Laden aufleuchtet.
•Befindet sich Ihr Rest Tischlautsprecher im Akkumodus (ist vom Netz getrennt),
vergewissern Sie sich, dass er eingeschaltet ist, um kabelloses Aufladen zu
ermöglichen.
•Bitte nehmen Sie Ihr Smartphone aus der Hülle, wenn die Dicke des Gehäuses 5
mm überschreitet oder es aus Metall besteht.
•Der integrierte kabellose Ladeempfänger befindet sich möglicherweise nicht
zentral im Telefon. Es sollte daher etwas außerhalb der Mitte des Kreuzes platziert
werden.
•Die Ladezeit hängt von der Akkukapazität und seiner Restladung ab.
•Die Komponenten können sich während des Ladevorgangs erhitzen. Nach dem
Laden kühlen sie langsam ab.
Energiesparen
Energiesparen: Ist 10 Minuten lang kein Bluetooth-Audiosignal vorhanden, schaltet
sich Ihr Rest Tischlautsprecher automatisch aus, auch wenn er kabellos aufgeladen
wird.

USB-Laden
Für Mobil- und andere Geräte, die nicht über eine kabellose Ladefunktion verfügen,ist
auf der Rückseite Ihres Tischlautsprechers ein 5 V𝌂1 Amp USB-Ladeanschluss (5)
vorhanden. Wenn der Lautsprecher entweder eingeschaltet oder an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist, ist der USB-Anschluss aktiv und zum Aufladen bereit. Verwenden
Sie das Standard-Ladekabel Ihres Mobiltelefons, um eine Verbindung zum USB-
Landanschluss herzustellen.

Montaje del altavoz de mesa Rest
Antes de comenzar, lea toda la información de seguridad de las páginas 2-3.
El altavoz Rest se suministra con cuatro patas con tornillos integrados que encajan
en las correspondientes tomas roscadas en la parte inferior del altavoz como se
muestra arriba.
1. Coloque el altavoz invertido sobre una superficie plana no abrasiva con las tomas
de las patas orientadas hacia arriba.
2. Alinee el tornillo del extremo de cada pata con cada una de las tomas roscadas de
la parte inferior de la mesa y enrósquelo suavemente en su posición procurando
no pasar de rosca los tornillos. Asegúrese de que las cuatro patas estén bien
enroscadas en las tomas y, a continuación, coloque la mesa en posición vertical
cerca de un enchufe de pared y estará listo para cargar

Carga del altavoz de mesa Rest
Su altavoz Rest tiene una batería de litio no reemplazable que le permite estar
totalmente operativo sin depender de una conexión a un enchufe de pared. Para
obtener los mejores resultados, la primera vez que utilice el altavoz, déjelo cargando
durante 4-5 horas hasta que esté totalmente cargado.
1. Enchufe el adaptador de corriente suministrado a una toma de alimentación.
2. Enchufe el conector jack del adaptador de corriente en la toma de CC (9) en la
parte posterior del altavoz de mesa. Asegúrese de que la toma de alimentación
esté conectada. El LED de modo (7) de la mesa se encenderá en rojo.
Cuando la mesa esté totalmente cargada, el LED rojo se apagará (y parpadeará en azul
en modo de emparejamiento Bluetooth).
Cuando esté desconectado, el nivel de carga de la batería se verá afectado por
el volumen del altavoz, el método de conexión y también el número y el tipo de
dispositivos que se estén cargando. Cuando el nivel de carga de la batería esté bajo, el
LED de modo (7) parpadeará lentamente y se emitirá un sonido de campanilla cada
20 segundos.
Alimentación del altavoz Rest
Pulse prolongadamente el botón de encendido (1) para encenderlo y entrar en el
modo Bluetooth (el LED azul (7) parpadeará rápidamente). Pulse prolongadamente y
suelte el botón de encendido (1) para apagarlo.
