Quick Start Guide
This quick start guide provides an illustration on how to mount the PRB-101 Swipe Card
Reader Bracket (SCRB) onto the left, top or right sides of the IAdea WRP-1000 to enable
magnetic stripe card reader integration.

Tools and items required for the installation:

Isopropyl wipe

Battery-powered drill

Phillips drill bit
 Philips hand-held
screw driver
 Fine-tip permanent
marker


Significant temperature deviations and changes in elevation or environment can lead to the
glass panel of the smart room panel to trap a small amount of moisture. To avoid damage the
condensation requires at least 2 to 4 hours to evaporate prior to usage.
Different Mounting Locations
The PRB-101 swipe card reader bracket can be mounted onto the WRP-1000 in three
different locations. The installation method varies dependant on the mounting location of
the bracket.

Quick Start Guide
Mounting Method 1 (attached lengthwise)
Step 1: Place the WRP-1000 back
cover with the bracket at the
desired mounting location. Mark
the four mounting hole locations.
Step 2: Drill holes in the marked spots then secure the back cover with
screws.
Step 3: Connect the magnetic
stripe card reader and Ethernet
cables to the WRP-1000.
Step 4: Place the WRP-1000 onto
the back cover.
Step 5: Tighten the top and bottom screws of the back cover to secure
the device.
Step 6: Remove one side of the
tape and affix it to the bracket.
Step 7: Align the SCRB with the WRP-1000 screw hole before securing it to the device using an
M3 x 8 pan
head screw.
Step 8: Remove the second side of the tape and affix the Swipe Card
Reader to the bracket. Apply adequate force to the swipe card reader
to secure it.
Step 9: Conduct cable
management as necessary.
Step 10: Installation complete.

Mounting Method 2 (attached breadthwise, either side)
Step 1: Place the WRP-1000 back
cover with the bracket at the
desired mounting location. Mark
the four mounting hole locations.
Step 2: Drill holes in the marked spots before securing the WRP-1000
back cover with appropriate screws.
Step 3: Secure the swipe card
reader to the bracket using two
M3 x 5 flat head
screws
.
Step 4: Remove the screws from the WRP-1000 and secure the bracket
to the WRP-1000 using the M2 x 8 pan head screw.
Step 5: Connect the magnetic
stripe card reader and Ethernet
cable to the WRP
-
1000.
Step 6: Place the WRP-1000 onto
the back cover.
Step 7: Tighten the right and left screws of the back cover to secure the
device
.
Step 8: Tighten the top screw of
device.
Step 9: Conduct cable
management as necessary. Step 10: Installation complete.
