Voidance of Warranty
•The AMF Filter must be changed e ery 6 months. These can be purchased through your nearest agent.
•The appliance is to be installed by qualified persons only in the en ironment for which the machine has been designed including
washrooms and bathrooms.
•The appliance must be returned to point of purchase for any defects in workmanship and materials to be REPAIRED by the
manufacturer or its designated ser ice representati e and the original unit shall be returned to the customer in the condition it
arri ed, including any cosmetic or component damage as a result of misuse or abuse, sa e for the defects indicated abo e.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and abo e and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they ha e been gi en super ision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and they understand the hazards in ol ed. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning
and user maintenance must not be undertaken by children.
If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its ser ice agent or similarly qualified persons
in order to a oid a hazard. The appliance must be disconnected from the supply mains prior to cleaning or other
maintenance.

Warranty
This product is warranted to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for a period of fi e (5) years from date of purchase and is
conditional upon fitting at time of installation and constant use and replacement e ery six (6) months of the AMF Filter pro ided. If repairs
are necessary during this period due to manufacturing defects, the product will be either repaired or replaced free of charge with an
equi alent product at our discretion.
SATISFACTORY PROOF OF PURCHASE DATE MUST BE FURNISHED AT THE TIME OF NOTIFICATION OF THE DEFECT FOR ANY CLAIM UNDER THIS
WARRANTY TO BE ENFORCEABLE.
This warranty will become in alid if the product has been subjected to modifications, abuse, improper treatment, non-compliance with
the constant use & replacement e ery six (6) months of the AMF Filter and/or if any defect is caused by repairs made by any
unauthorised person. There are no warranties expressed or implied except for those which are stipulated herein and those which are
implied and cannot be excluded under law pro ided that in those countries and states where it is impossible to limit warranties of
merchantability and or fitness for a particular purpose to the duration of this warranty they shall be regarded as being so limited.
Incidental and consequential damages of all kinds whatsoever are excluded if and to the extent to which it is possible to do so in law.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the New Zealand Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or
refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to ha e the
goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

WARNING
•
The appliance is only intended to be installed or maintained by qualified
personnel.
• The appliance is not intended for use by young children or infirmed persons
without super ision. Young children should be super ised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
• Means for all pole (Li e & Neutral) disconnection (air-gap of at least 3mm)
must be included for fixing wiring. The disconnection de ice must be
installed in accordance with the wiring rules.
•For appliances fitted with a supply cord and plug - if the supply cord is
damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its ser ice agent or
similarly qualified persons.

INSTALLATION
Always ensure:
The appliance is mounted clear of swinging doors or any other feature likely to cause
damage.
The mounting surface is e en to a oid distortion of the base plate.
The front of the appliance is able to swing down through 90° to allow disassembly.
Housing may get damaged and require being support by one hand during changing of
accessories.
A oid placing the machine o er a pedestal or bench top as this may trigger the sensor
unnecessarily. For bench top installation, it is recommended that the appliance be
mounted at least 300mm abo e bench tops.
TO INSTALL
1. Place the back plate against the wall and with the aid of a spirit le el (Bubble
Le el)
2. Mark out the 5 mounting holes on the bottom of the back plate -
3. Determine the electrical connection method.
a) For fixed wiring installation, ensure the cord passes through the
supplied grommet in the top right hand corner of the back plate.
b) For wiring to the nearest power point, break the appropriate tab
(left or right) from the bottom of the rubber seal and install the
power cord.
c) Hand Dryers which ha e a power cord (not fitted), measure the
length between the dryer and the power outlet and cut to
remo e excess cord before fitting.
4. Secure the back plate to the wall using 5 x 12 gauge wood screws, 6mm
masonry bolts or similar.
5. Ensure the appliance is connected to an electrical circuit with adequate
capacity and the necessary safety features (i.e. RCD), as per local
regulations.
6. THE APPLIANCE MUST BE CORRECTLY EARTHED.
7. Fit the case to the back plate by holding the case at 90º and then sliding the
case across and connect the internal power cable to the defeat switch
co er. Ensure that the cable is correctly routed to pre ent damage to the
internals of the machine.
8. Rotate the case to the ertical, and apply moderate pressure on the front of
the case to compress the back plate seal, while operating the key lock to
secure the appliance.

To ensure optimum performance and maximum working life from this appliance the following ser icing procedures should
be performed:
Proced re:
1. To ensure there is no power to the appliance, disconnect the power to the appliance prior to any maintenance or
cleaning.
2. Open the appliance using the key lock (the power to the unit will automatically disconnect ia the power defeat
switch when co er is opened). Disconnect 3-pin plug on internal power cable from defeat switch co er.
3. Support the co er at an angle of approx. 90° and remo e the AMF Filter from the holder by gently pulling out the AMF
Filter. Do not allow the unit to drop down.
4. Insert new AMF Filter and ensure it 'clicks' into place.
5. Check the length of the motor brushes. Replace if less than 4mm.
6. Reconnect the internal power cable into the defeat switch co er.
7. Close and lock the unit.
Exterior Cleaning:
If the machine requires cleaning, only non-abrasi e liquid cleaners may be used with a soft cloth. Take care not to wet
any electrical components.
SAFE WORK PROCEDURE
Opening the machine
Utilise the key supplied with the unit. Hold the Housing with one hand and the keys
with the other, and unlock the machine. Gently allow the housing to tip open, whilst
supporting the co er.
Changing of accessories
To open the housing, holding the key with one hand, place the other hand on the
front of the machine to support the machine and slowly lower the housing to enable
access to the accessories within the machine. AVOID allowing the machine to drop
freely as it may damage the machine and the wall it is attached to.
Continue to support the machine and use the hand pre iously holding the keys to
change any of the accessories.
Closing the machine
Rotate the case back to the ertical, and apply moderate pressure on the front of the
case to compress the back plate seal, while operating the key lock to secure the
appliance. Remo e the key when completed.
Test unit by wa ing hand under sensor.
