CAUTION
For correct usage read this instruction manual carefully, in the order it is presented, and
keep in a safe place for future reference.
Important: This appliance is for family use and should not be used as a deep fryer. Never use
this product for anything other than its intended purpose. We accept no responsibility for
any damage, or injury resulting from such use.
Before operation
Before connecting the appliance to the mains power supply, please check if the voltage
indicated on the bottom of the appliance is in accordance with the mains voltage in your
home.
Place the appliance on a stable flat surface that is near to the power socket.
Check that all the parts of the appliance are in good condition, if not, please contact customer
services.
Safety Precautions

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the appliance and Plug the
appliance only into an earthed wall socket.
Always remove the plug from the wall socket when the appliance is not in use.
When using an extension lead, always make sure that the entire cable is unwound from the

reel. Use solely approved extension leads.
Never leave the appliance unsupervised when in use.
Never to use this unit near bathtub, shower, wash-hand basins or other containers with
water.
Never use this apparatus near water projections.
Never use this apparatus with the wet hands.
If, unfortunately the apparatus is wet, immediately withdraw the cord of the socket-outlet.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
In order to ensure your children‘s safety, please keep all packaging (plastic bags, boxes,
polystyrene etc.) out of their reach.
The device is not designed to be activated by an external timer or a discrete remote
command system.
The temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when the appliance is operating.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.
Never move the appliance by pulling the cord. Make sure the cord cannot get caught in any
way.
Do not wind the cord around the appliance and do not bend it.
Stand the appliance on a table or flat surface.
Make sure the appliance has cooled down before cleaning and storing it.
Make sure the appliance never comes into contact with flammable materials, such as curtains,
cloth, etc... the power cord and plug do not come in contact with water.
Competent qualified person: after sales department of the producer or importer or any person
who is qualified, approved and competent to perform this kind of repairs in order to avoid all
danger. In any case you should return the appliance to this service.
Product Use
Plug in the appliance.
Push the switch to the “-” position and the power light will come on. Pre-heating time is
5-8minutes.
As the appliance heats up, the outer surface will become very hot and it is recommended that
you put the appliance on a heat-proof mat. We also recommended that the minimal distance

between a wall and other components is no less than 15cm.
When the appliance is first used a slight smoke smell may be emitted. Please note this is
normal and does not indicate a fault.
Before first use, lubricate the surface of the plate with oil then wipe it with a dry cloth.
In order to protect the Teflon plating; ensure that a wooden utensil is used when turning or
moving food.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Before cleaning or moving this appliance, make sure the appliance is unplugged and has
cooled.
Heating plate and mini pan can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth.
Mini pan is dishwasher friendly.
Do not spray clean with water or immerse fully in liquid.
Should the appliance become damaged or require repair please contact your local hardware
store.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not remove cover, no user serviceable parts inside. To
prevent the risk of electric shock, DO NOT USE the set with broken power cord or broken plug.
All repair works must be made by a professional (authorized distributor). NEVER TRY TO
REPAIR the cord or plug by yourself. Please take the damaged set to your local authorized
maintenance centre for repairing or change.

Disposal of old electrical appliances

The crossed out “wheeled bin” symbol on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when
you dispose of the appliance, it must be separately collected.
Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concerning the correct
disposal of their old appliance.
