PREFACE
Thank you for purchasing our iClick product. In order to operate this product correctly, we
have create this user’s manual to assist in helping you understand its many functions.
**PRECAUTION**
1. Do not use this device in extreme thermal conditions [ i.e. in very cold, dusty or wet
environments ]
2. Avoid dropping or any hard impacts to the player.
3. In order to prevent static electricity, do not use this device in particularly dry circumstances.
4. Do not disconnect this device while it is in process of “Formatting” or uploading and downloading
files. It may cause damage to the hardware.
5. If the MP3 player suddenly shut downs, check the battery power first – you may need to recharge
the battery. In some cases, strong static from your body or the environment may also cause the
MP3 player to shut down temporatery.
6. If the MP3 player is not working properly while connected to the computer, check the USB
connection to make sure that it is properly connected.

•On/Off: The main Power On/Off
•Play: (1). To play/pause/stop the audio playing (2) Long-press to power on/off
•Enter (Vol): (1). Confirm any functional selections (2). Adjusting Volume
•USB: Connection with your computer, also serves as power charging port withAC adopter or
computer.
•Earp: Earphone phone port
•Mode: Accesses the main manual and sub-directories.
•Next/Vol+ / Prev/Vol-: Volume +/-. Switch among Mode selections and audio tracks.
Operating the function keys:
There are two ways to use the Mode and Play keys:
1. The long press: Press and hold the key for about 2 seconds to enter the main function mode.
2. The quick press: Press to select the function or sub-function.
QUICK START GUIDE: PLAYING THIS MP3 PLAYER
1. Turning the power On /Off
•By switching the On/Off switch to “On”, this MP3 player is now ready to play. The next time
you power on this device, it starts at the Main Mode selection.
•OR, while the Power switch is on, you may press and hold the Play key to turn ON the power.
The LCD lights up the iClick welcoming screen. On the other hand, press and hold the “Play”
key to turn the power OFF. The next time you power on this device, the “shutdown memory
function” will resume where it was stopped.
2. Play/Pause/Stop music or voice recorded files
•Press the PLAY key to play music, press again to pause / stop the audio track. To resume
playing, press the PLAY key again.
3. Volume Control
•Press the “Enter (Vol) key and press the volume +/- keys to adjust the volume level.
4. Audio Track Selection
•In either Standby or Play mode, shift the “Next/Prev” to choose the audio track.
5. Fast Forward/Rewind
•While playing music, press and Hold the “Next/Prev” key to either fast forward or rewind the
current track.
Main Menu

Press and hold the “Mode” to enter the main menu:
MUSIC – RECORD – VOICE – FM mode – SETTING
MUSIC: Music playing
RECORD: Voice Recording,
VOICE: Replay the recorded track,
FM mode: Listen to FM radio
SETTING: System setting.
(You may navigate these main menus by pressing the Next/Prev key, and press “Enter” to
select.)
In Music Mode:
Quick-press the Mode button to access Sub-menus during music playing
- Repeat – Equalizer – Replay - Replay Times - Replay Gap.
REPEAT:
•Normal: Play all music tracks in sequence.
•Repeat One: Play single music track repeatedly
•Folder: Play all music tracks within current selected folder.
•Repeat Folder: Repeatedly play all music tracks in current selected folder.
•Repeat All: Repeatedly play all music tracks in sequence.
•Random: Randomly play music tracks in current folder.
•Intro: Play the first 10 seconds of each music file in sequence in the current folder

Replay
•While playing music, quickly press the Mode key to enter “Replay”.
•After selecting “Replay”, a blinking “A” appears on the LCD screen. Press the “Next” to pick
the starting point that you want the replay to begin. A Blinking “B” indicates the end point of
the replay when you press the “Next” again. You MP3 player is now playing the A-B replay
section.
•Once the A-B replay has been selected, by pressing the “Next” again for the 3rd time, this
MP3 player will automatically perform voice recording – this is for taking notes or language
learning and will NOT record into the music file.
•To cancel the A-B replay, press the Mode key to return to normal playing status.
Replay Times
•Repeatedly play the A-B segment from 1 to 10 times.
Replay Gap:
•The gap (blank period) between each A-B replay (unit: from 1 to 10 seconds)

In RECORD Mode:
Press and hold the Mode to access REC (Recording)
- Start voice recording: Once in REC, press the Play button to start recording. Press the “Play”
button again to stop recording and automatically save the record file. Press “Play” to record
again.
Select Recording Type
On Stop Recording, press Mode to select the record REC Type.
•Fine REC: wav format, excellent sound quality.
•Long REC: act format, normal sound quality.
•Fine VOR: wav format (voice-operated recording, automatically pauses when there is
no sound).
•Long VOR: act format.
i. In Long VOX mode, the recording will be paused if there is no sound, and will resume
when there is sound again.
ii. Voice record files generally will be saved automatically in the Root folder.
iii. When recording time exceeds 60 minutes, the display shows as “hh:mm”. During
recording, if battery power is low, player will stop recording, and save the recorded file
automatically.
iv. Each folder only supports 99 files. If the folder is full, player will display as “Out of
Amount”. If the memory is full, player will indicate “Out of space”. If you need to store
more than 99 songs (if you have the necessary memory available, then you will need to
create another folder.)
In VOICE Mode:
Press and hold the Mode to access VOICE (replaying the recorded voice files)
•Enter “Voice” and press “Play” to play “voice recorded files.
•When the voice recording stops playing, you can press the Mode again to delete the file:
Press Mode – select “Delete File” – switch the Mode right/left to confirm Yes or No for deleting
the recorded file.
In FM Mode
Press and hold the Mode key to access the FM Mode; Press the “Next/Prev” to go
forward/backward to the next radio stations.
Short –press the “Mode” to access sub-functions: Save – Search – Delete –Delete All – Select Band –
Fine Record
Save: Save the current radio station setting as a preset station.
Search Mode: Provide different searches methods:Auto Search, Frequency search, or Station

search.
Delete: Delete current stations from the presets
Delete All: Delete all preset stations.
Select Band (Optional): Select from different frequencies.
Fine Record: Record the radio track. While playing radio, press “Mode” and select “Fine Record” to
start recording a radio track. Press “Play” to pause the recording, and press “Play” again the resume
recording. By pressing “Play” key for 2 seconds, the recorded radio will be saved in this device. You
may listen to it in the “Voice” section.
In SETTING Mode:
Press and hold the Mode to access SETTING
(1). In System Time
•Setting up the time for your recording, or serves as a clock. How: Press “Enter” to select
“System time” – using “Next/Prev” key to switch between year, month, day, hour, and minute
– use Mode switch to change the date and time.
(2). In Language Mode:
•Press and hold the Mode to select English or Chinese (or other languages, depends on the
model you have).
(3). In Power-Off Mode:
•Press and hold the Mode to access this Power saving function.
•Off Time: Automatically turning off power between 0 to 60 seconds when the MP3 player is
not in any function. (0 second means the power stays on)
•Sleep Time: Automatically turning the power off between 0 to 120 minutes
(4). In Replay Mode (optional)
•Auto or Manual
(5). In Contrast Mode
•Press and hold the Mode to access this Power saving function.
•By switching the mode key, you may adjust the brightness of the screen in 16 different levels.
(6). In Online Device Mode
•Press and hold the Mode to set up the player either as a Media Device or a USB
Device.
- Media Device
•When the setting is on Media Device, this MP3 player is DRM files (Digital Right
Management) compatible. It appears as “Actions MTP Device” under the Audio Device when

connected with your computer. IN this setting, it allows all Copy/Paste/Delete/Play of DRM
music in the “Media” folder, as well as other non-DRM audio files. You won’t be able to see
the two pre-downloaded music or voice recorded files on your computer screen (you of
course may listen to them). This setting is a broader way of achieving a Mass Storage
function, and is recommended.
- USB Device
•When the setting is as USB disk, it appears as “Removable Disk” in the “my Computer” when
connected with your computer. You may process general types of data/audio transformation
in between your computer and this MP3 player.
(7). In Online Mode
•Press and hold the Mode to set up the player for encryption
•After you have installed the software from the CD, the built-in memory in this MP3 player can
be divided into two disks (one is normal and the other one is encrypted) by accessing the
“MP3 Player Disk Tool”. You also may set up a password for the encrypted one.
•Normal: The computer recognizes this device as one ordinary disk.
•Encrypted Only: The computer recognizes this device as one encrypted disk.
•Multi Drive: The computer recognizes this device as both ordinary and encrypted disks.
(8). In memory Mode
•Press and hold the Mode to get into this mode for the built-in memory information.
(9). In firmware Version Mode
•Press and hold the Mode to get into this mode to see the firmware version
(10). In firmware Upgrade Mode:
•Other firmware versions maybe available in the near future. Please visit our web site at
www.iclickdigital.com if such an upgrade is available.
(11). In DRM Time Mode:
•When downloading copy-protected music to this MP3 player, the DRM Time
automatically records the DRM information for playing music smoothly.
CONNECTING THIS MP3 PLAYER WITH YOUR COMPUTER
The Driver that is included is for Windows 98 Users Only. No driver installation is needed for
Windows ME/ 2000/ XP users
FOR WINDOW 98 USERS:
Please install the driver for Windows 98 operation system BEFORE you connect the player to your
computer.
To install the driver for Windows 98, insert the included CD into the CD-Rom drive of your computer.
a. Right click on the CD drive and choose Open (or Explore).
b. Select Window 98 Driver folder and double click on “Setup.exe”.

c. The installation wizard will guide you through the rest of the installation process. Continue to
follow the wizard prompts and click “next” until you finish installing the driver.
d. Restart your computer after installation is finished.
FOR OTHER OPERATING SYSTEMS (WINDOWS ME, XP AND ALL MAC’S):
No driver installation is needed. You may remove the cap of the player and plug it directly into your
computer’s USB port OR to the USB extension cord that is included with your MP3 player package.
The LCD screen will indicate a connection symbol showing that it is connected to your computer
successfully.
Transferring files between your computer and the player:
1. Connect the player with your computer as indicated
2. Open My Computer and find your MP3 player that is either recognized as “MPT” or as
“Removable Disk” (Refer to “Online Device Mode” for details). Double-click on it to open it
on your computer.
3. At this point you may copy/paste/delete the files in between this MP3 player and your
computer.
4. Removed the MP3 player from your computer.
Downloading DRM (Digital Right Management) Files to this MP3 player
•You may Copy/Paste the DRM music/date files from your computer to this MP3 player if the
DRM file is within its transferring allowance.
•This MP3 player can be connected directly with your DRM web sites providers to download
music/audio book directly into this MP3 player (if the technique is available from your DRM
web sites). This information usually can be located in the “Help” or “Downloading Tips”, which
should be very helpful. If not, you may download the files to your hard drive and later copy it
to this MP3 player’s “Media” folder (within its transfer allowance).
The method of downloading files directly to the MP3 player may vary among different programs used,
and you should not hesitate to contact the web site directly for the best method if you’re unfamiliar
with this process. Of course, you are always welcome to join our Online Forum for suggestions,

Ripping Files to your Computer from a CD:
In order to rip music files from a CD and then copy to your MP3 player, you must use a file ripping
program. There are a wide variety of programs available, such as Windows Media Player and
ITUNES. To access these capabilities, look in the “help” menu of the program for instructions on
converting audio files. You may also use the search function on our company’s Online Forum to view
the latest information on this subject at: www.iclickdigital.com/forum/.
Format this MP3 Player:
Attention: Processing “Format” will delete ALL of the files in the Mp3 player.
•This device, either serves as MP3 player or just as USB Flash Drive, supports only FAT
format. If you do re-format this device, be sure to set the format in FAT (not FAT16 or FAT32).

•Generally speaking, you only need to re-format your MP3 player if
(1). There is a “dos error” showing up on the screen, or
(2). This MP3 player is suddenly not working as smooth as before. Re-formatting
this Device may sometimes serve as restoring the overall function.
