1. STARPADS FEATURES

STARPADS9 is a music player, that let you mix Loops, beats, drums, accapellas or sound effects
together.
6 main styles of music are available: ELECTRO, REGGAETON, HIP HOP, DUB STEP, FUNKY.
There are Endless possibilies of Mixing and playing the different pads, which will be
YOUR MUSIC, and YOUR STYLE, YOUR MIX.
There is also a DRUMS PADS mode that let you finger-drums on the go.
STARPADS9 is baery powered and fully portable.

1. MUSIC STYLE
Press to Select your genre.
2. LOOPS A
These 3 pads with Music loops can be played one by one, and can be heard when the
CROSSFADER’s posion is on the LEFT.
3. ACAPELLA/FX sounds
Can be Played and heard at any posion of the CROSSFADER.
IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on LEFT posion, ONLY LOOPS A can be heard.
IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on MIDDLE posion, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.
4. LOOPS B
These 3 pads with Music Loops can be played one by one, and can be heard when the
CROSSFADER’s posion is on the RIGHT.
IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on RIGHT posion, ONLY LOOPS B can be heard.
IMPORTANT: CROSSFADER on MIDDLE posion, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.
5. DRUMS MODE
9 drums sound can be played at any posion of the CROSSFADER, so CROSSFADER will
have NO FUNCTION when you are on DRUMS MODE.
6. TRY ME MODE
Switch on the Right posion will be DEMO mode, playing the iDANCE’s song. Switch on
Right posion will be the PLAY MODE.
IMPORTANT: STARPADS9 will automacally turns on when you press any keys, and it
will be turning off aer 2 minutes.
7. CROSSFADER
Is the MIXER that will BLEND music between the LOOPS A group and the LOOPS B group.
CROSSFADER on LEFT posion, ONLY LOOPS A can be heard.
CROSSFADER on MIDDLE posion, LOOPS A and LOOPS B can be heard.
CROSSFADER on RIGHT posion, ONLY LOOPS B can be heard.
8. Baery Comparment
Please follow the Baery installaon procedure/GETTING STARTED.
9. SPEAKER
Will play LOOPS with the CROSSFADER or DRUMS sounds.

2. GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
Requires 3 “AA” alkaline baeries. When performance diminishes, replace with new baeries.
ALWAYS Power off the unit when not in use to preserve baery power.
1. Locate the BATTERY COMPARTMENT on boom of the unit.
2. Using a Phillips head screwdriver, remove the SCREW and BATTERY DOOR.
3. Install 3 new “AA” baeries, matching polarity icons with those on the BATTERY
COMPARTMENT.
4. Replace the BATTERY DOOR and ghten the SCREW.
Baery acid leakage can cause personal injury and cause damage to the product and surrounding
property. If baery leakage occurs, thoroughly wash any affected skin, making sure to keep baery
acid away from eyes, ears, nose and mouth. Immediately wash any clothing or other surface that
comes in contact with leaked baery acid. Leaking baeries may make “popping” sounds. Dispose
enre toy according to Local, State or Federal Baery Laws.
WARNING!
TO AVOID BATTERY PROBLEMS:
NEVER mix old and new baeries or different brands of baeries.
NEVER mix alkaline, standard(carbon-zinc), rechargeable(nickel-cadmium)baeries with this
product.
NEVER dispose of baeries in fire, as they may leak and explode.
NEVER use rechargeable baeries.
NEVER aempt to charge non-rechargeable baeries.
ALWAYS remove exhausted baeries from toy.
ALWAYS have an adult install baeries consistent with installaon instrucons.
ONLY use baeries specified by manufacturer.
Baeries are to be inserted with the correct Polarity.
The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.

3. CREATING MUSIC WITH STARPADS 9
There are 2 ways to create music with STARPADS9:
1. Play with the LOOPS and MIX with the CROSSFADER
2. Drums mode for Fingerdrumming
Play with Loops, using the 5
different music style built-in
Drums mode, finger drum
alone, the crossfader will not
be used for that mode, just
press DRUMS and play with
the 9 pads!!!
