700-604-02A Xwave Repeater Manual
Thank you for purchasing the Xwave repeater. The repeater works on the 433Mhz frequency
range and only repeats the signals from a known Xwave device. The unit can also indicate that
signals are being repeated by turning on the button that corresponds to the channel being
repeated or a beep each time a signal is repeated.

number of times of the channel number and the zone LED will flash for 2 minutes.
Example: If zone 2 & 5 are selected to chime and channel 5’s signal is repeated the unit will
chime 5 times and when channel 2’s signal is repeated the unit will chime 2 times and the zone
LED will flash for 2 minutes.
TURN ON CHIME ON REPEAT
1. Make sure the system is in idle mode by making sure none of the visual modes are
selected.
2. Press chime on repeat button once. (All channels are selected by default.)
3. Button and channel LEDs will come on for 6 seconds to indicate chime on repeat has
been switched on and zones can be selected to not chime if repeated.

Battery conditions
•On = Battery low
Important NiMH battery charging considerations
•NiMH cells will not work in temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius.
•High temperatures result in higher self-discharge, I.e. hot vehicle
•Never mix batteries from different manufacturers or capacities.
•Never mix batteries of different chemistries, i.e. NiCd, NiMH, Lithium, Etc.
•Never remove batteries while charger is connected.
•Around 300-400 charge cycles is the limit for NiMH cells.
•Only use 1.2V NiMH AA cells with a capacity of 2100mAh or higher.
•Never connect the charger when non-rechargeable batteries are powering the unit.
•If there is a loss of AC power, disconnect charger to prevent surge from damaging the
unit when power is restored (Suggestion: use the unit until its empty again, before re-
connecting charger).
