IKEA | Sonos – Wireless module
FCC ID: FHO-920-00632 and IC: 10912A-92000632
Module description
: There are two different radios in the Wireless Module. The first radio supports
WiFi wireless Ethernet based on the IEEE 802.11 a/b/g/n standards. The 2.4 GHz communication is
limited to channels 1-11 for North America. The 5 GHz communication is controlled based on regional
regulatory requirements. The second radio supports Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) mode (v4.2). Support
for BLE is through a dedicated chip. Operation in BLE mode is supported in the required 2.4 GHz ISM
band on channels 0-39. In addition to the radios, the Wireless Module supports wired Ethernet
communication (IEEE 802.3 100Base-TX) by using Ethernet port. In this mode of operation, the WiFi
wireless Ethernet is disabled.
Note: Wireless Module labeled with “FCC ID: FHO-920-00632” is not capable of transmitting on 2.4GHz
Channels 12 & 13. This FCC ID does not appear on the product label of non-USA product versions
(SKUs).
