sacchetto di plastica lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
• Questo apparecchio deve essere utilizzato unicamente allo scopo
per cui è stato progettato, ovvero come bilancia da cucina per uso
domestico. Qualsiasi altro utilizzo è considerato non conforme
all'uso previsto e pertanto pericoloso.
• L'apparecchio può essere utilizzato da bambini di età non inferiore
a 8 anni e da persone con ridotte capacità fisiche, sensoriali o
mentali, o prive di esperienza o della necessaria conoscenza, purché
sotto sorveglianza oppure dopo che le stesse abbiano ricevuto
istruzioni relative all'uso sicuro dell'apparecchio e alla comprensione
dei pericoli ad esso inerenti. l bambini non devono giocare con
l'apparecchio. La pulizia e la manutenzione destinata ad essere
effettuata dall'utilizzatore non deve essere effettuata da bambini
senza sorveglianza.
• NON esporre l’apparecchio all’umidità o all’influsso di agenti
atmosferici (pioggia, sole, ecc.) o temperature estreme.
• In caso di guasto o di cattivo funzionamento dell'apparecchio,
spegnerlo e non manometterlo. Per l'eventuale riparazione rivolgersi
solamente ad un centro di assistenza tecnica autorizzato.
• NON immergere questo apparecchio in acqua o in altri liquidi. Per
le attività di pulizia e manutenzione fare riferimento esclusivamente
all'apposito paragrafo di questo manuale.

AVVERTENZE PER LE BATTERIE
• Sostituire le batterie solo con batterie dello stesso tipo e con le stesse
caratteristiche tecniche.
• Assicurarsi di inserire le batterie rispettando la polarità indicata
sull'apparecchio.

• Rimuovere le batterie dall'apparecchio se si prevede di non utilizzarlo
per un lungo periodo di tempo. Conservare le batterie in un luogo
fresco e asciutto a temperatura ambiente.
• NON ricaricare le batterie non ricaricabili.
• PERICOLO! Rischio di fuoriuscita di sostanze corrosive
dalla batteria e di esplosione.
Le batterie NON devono essere disassemblate, esposte ad
un calore eccessivo come quello provocato dai raggi solari,
dal fuoco o da fonti di calore in genere.
NON devono essere cortocircuitate, danneggiate meccanicamente,
gettate nel fuoco, messe nell'acqua, riposte insieme ad oggetti
metallici, fatte cadere su superfici dure. In caso di perdita dalla
batteria evitare il contatto con la pelle, gli occhi e gli indumenti.
• NON utilizzare più l'apparecchio e le batterie se le batterie dovessero
presentare segni di deterioramento quali ad esempio: deformazione,
scalfitture, odore anomalo o scolorimento della superficie. In questo
caso rivolgersi ad un centro assistenza autorizzato.
• PERICOLO! Rischio di lesioni gravi.
Tenere sempre le batterie lontano dalla portata dei bambini.
In caso di ingestione le batterie possono causare lesioni
mortali. Conservare quindi le batterie in un luogo
inaccessibile per i bambini. In caso di ingestione di una batteria,
consultare immediatamente un medico o il centro antiveleni locale.

IT CONTATTO CON GLI ALIMENTI
Per un utilizzo sicuro dell’apparecchio è necessario attenersi alle indicazioni di questa tabella
che riporta:
• le parti dell’apparecchio destinate al contatto con gli alimenti.
• gli alimenti che possono essere utilizzati con questo apparecchio.
• il tempo massimo per il quale gli alimenti possono rimanere in contatto con le parti dell’apparecchio
destinate a tale scopo.
• la temperatura massima consentita degli alimenti utilizzati.

PULIZIA AL PRIMO UTILIZZO
Disimballare l’apparecchio e rimuovere eventuali inserti o etichette adesive.

PORTATA MASSIMA
L’apparecchio consente la portata massima di 5 kg.
• Non superare quantità di 5 kg altrimenti sul display compare la scritta di errore “Err”.
• Non superare la quantità di 1500 ml di alimenti liquidi, per evitare la tracimazione dal contenitore.
MONTAGGIO
La bilancia non è dotata di batterie.
• Dotarsi di 2 batterie da 1,5 V AAA e aprire lo sportello posto sul fondo dell’apparecchio.
• Inserire le batterie tenendo conto della polarità corretta.
• Richiudere lo sportello.
• Appoggiare l’apparecchio su una supercie piana e stabile.
• Inserire l’innesto del contenitore nell’aggancio.
• Premere ai lati no a sentire un “clack” [Fig. B].
UTILIZZO
• Premere il tasto On/o Zero.
• Se si vuole variare l’unità di misura in grammi o libbre premere il tasto Unit.
• Se si vuole pesare latte/olio/acqua premere il tasto Mode no a che la freccia all’intero del display non
abbia raggiunto la posizione corretta.
• Se si vuole pesare la farina in Cup premere il tasto Mode no a che la freccia all’intero del display non
abbia raggiunto la posizione corretta.
• Versare gli ingredienti nel contenitore.
• Se si vogliono pesare ingredienti aggiuntivi premere il tasto On/o Zero e la bilancia azzererà la
pesata precedente.
• Aggiungere altri ingredienti.
• Spegnere l’apparecchio premendo il tasto On/o Zero per alcuni secondi.
• Se non utilizzata la bilancia si auto spegne dopo circa 30 secondi.
• Estrarre il contenitore premendo il tasto di sgancio posto sotto il manico [Fig. C].
• E’ possibile versare gli ingredienti direttamente dal beccuccio senza sganciare il contenitore [Fig D].
• Pulire immediatamente le parti che sono venute a contatto con gli alimenti come da capitolo pulizia
e manutenzione.
SOSTITUZIONE DELLE BATTERIE
• Se sul display compare la scritta “Lo” signica che le batterie sono da sostituire.
• Per lo smaltimento seguire le indicazioni del capitolo Smaltimento delle batterie.
• Dotarsi di 2 nuove batterie da 1,5 V AAA e aprire lo sportello posto sul fondo dell’apparecchio.
• Inserire le batterie tenendo conto della polarità corretta.
• Richiudere lo sportello.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
• Estrarre il contenitore premendo il tasto di sgancio posto sotto il manico [Fig. C].
• Lavare il contenitore a mano o in lavastoviglie senza superare la temperatura di 60 °C.
• Lavare il corpo della bilancia con una spugna umida e ben strizzata.
• Asciugare con un panno asciutto.

IT PROBLEMI E SOLUZIONI
Se si verifica uno dei problemi indicati, adottare la soluzione proposta:

Sul display compare la scritta “Err” Togliere ingredienti eccessivi dal contenitore, si è
superato il limite massimo di pesata di 5 kg.
L’apparecchio non si accende
Sostituire le batterie.
Controllare il corretto inserimento delle batterie
rispettando la polarità indicata.
SMALTIMENTO
L’imballaggio del prodotto è composto da materiali riciclabili. Smaltirlo in conformità alla normativa
di tutela ambientale.
Ai sensi della direttiva 2012/19/UE sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed elettroniche (RAEE) il
simbolo del cassonetto barrato riportato sull’apparecchiatura o sulla sua confezione indica che il
prodotto alla fine della propria vita utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti.
L’utente dovrà, pertanto, conferire l’apparecchiatura giunta a fine vita agli idonei centri di raccolta
differenziata dei rifiuti elettrici ed elettronici. In alternativa alla gestione autonoma è possibile
consegnare l’apparecchiatura che si desidera smaltire al rivenditore, al momento dell’acquisto di una
nuova apparecchiatura di tipo equivalente. Presso i rivenditori di prodotti elettronici con superficie di
vendita di almeno 400 m² è inoltre possibile consegnare gratuitamente, senza obbligo di acquisto, i
prodotti elettronici da smaltire con dimensioni inferiori a 25 cm. L’adeguata raccolta differenziata per
l’avvio successivo dell’apparecchiatura dismessa al riciclaggio, al trattamento e allo smaltimento
compatibile con il rispetto dell’ambiente contribuisce ad evitare possibili effetti negativi sull’ambiente e
sulla salute e favorisce il reimpiego e/o riciclo dei materiali di cui è composta l’apparecchiatura.
SMALTIMENTO DELLE BATTERIE
• Rimuovere le batterie dall'apparecchio prima del suo smaltimento.
• Smaltire le batterie in un centro di raccolta specifico.
• NON gettare le batterie nei rifiuti domestici.

ASSISTENZA E GARANZIA
L’apparecchio è garantito per un periodo di due anni dalla data di consegna. Fa fede la data riportata
sullo scontrino/fattura (purché chiaramente leggibile), a meno che l’acquirente non provi che la
consegna è successiva. In caso di difetto del prodotto preesistente alla data di consegna, viene
garantita la riparazione o la sostituzione senza spese dell’apparecchio, salvo che uno dei due rimedi
risulti sproporzionato rispetto all’altro. L’acquirente ha l’onere di denunciare a un Centro Assistenza
autorizzato il difetto di conformità entro due mesi dalla scoperta del difetto stesso.
Non sono coperte dalla garanzia tutte le parti che dovessero risultare difettose a causa di:
a. danni da trasporto o da cadute accidentali,
b. riparazioni o modifiche operate da personale non autorizzato,
c. mancata o non corretta manutenzione e pulizia,
d. prodotto e/o parti di prodotto soggette a usura e/o consumabili,
e. mancata osservanza delle istruzioni per il funzionamento dell’apparecchio, negligenza o trascuratezza
nell’uso,
f. utilizzo di alimenti in quantitativi eccedenti quanto specificato.
L’elenco di cui sopra è a titolo meramente esemplificativo e non esaustivo, in quanto la presente garanzia
è comunque esclusa per tutte quelle circostanze che non possono farsi risalire a difetti di fabbricazione
dell’apparecchio. La garanzia è inoltre esclusa in tutti i casi di uso improprio dell’apparecchio ed in caso
di uso professionale. Si declina ogni responsabilità per eventuali danni che possano direttamente o
indirettamente derivare a persone, cose ed animali domestici in conseguenza della mancata osservanza
di tutte le prescrizioni indicate nell’apposito “Libretto Istruzioni ed avvertenze” in tema di installazione,
uso e manutenzione dell’apparecchio. Sono fatte salve le azioni contrattuali di garanzia nei confronti del
venditore.
Modalità di assistenza
La riparazione dell’apparecchio deve essere effettuata presso un Centro Assistenza autorizzato.
L’apparecchio difettoso, se in garanzia, dovrà pervenire al Centro Assistenza unitamente ad un
documento fiscale che ne attesti la data di vendita o di consegna.

bag out of the reach of children.
• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was
designed, namely as a kitchen scale for home use. Any other use
is considered not compliant with the intended use and therefore
dangerous.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe
way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play
with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity, to the weather (rain,
sun, etc.) or to extreme temperatures.
• If the appliance is faulty or malfunctions, switch it off and do not
tamper with it. Contact an authorised technical service centre for any
repairs.

WARNINGS CONCERNING USE OF BATTERIES
• Replace the batteries with batteries of the same kind only.
• Make sure to insert batteries respecting the polarity indicated on the
appliance.

• Remove batteries from the appliance if you expect not to use it
for a long time. Keep batteries in a cool and dry place at ambient
temperature.
• DO NOT recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• DANGER! Risk of corrosive substance leakage and
explosion. Batteries shall NOT be disassembled, exposed to
excessive heat such as that caused by sunlight, fire or
similar sources. They shall NOT be short circuited,
mechanically damaged, thrown into the fire, put into water, stored
with metallic objects, dropped on hard surfaces. In case of battery
leakage, avoid any contact with skin, eyes and clothing.
• DO NOT use the appliance and the batteries if batteries show any
sign of deterioration such as: deformation, scratches, anomalous
smell or discoloration of the surface. In such a case contact an
authorized service centre.
• DANGER! Risk of serious lesions. Always keep the batteries
out of reach of children. If swallowed, the batteries can
cause lethal lesions. Therefore, always keep the batteries
out of reach of children. In the event that a battery is
swallowed, contact a doctor or the local poison centre immediately.

CONTACT WITH FOODSTUFFS
Please follow the guidelines given in this table concerning the following to ensure that the
appliance is used safely:
• parts of the appliance intended for contact with food.
• the types of food which may be used in this appliance.
• the maximum period of time for which foodstus may remain in contact with the parts of the appliance
intended for contact with food.
• the maximum permissible temperature of food used in the appliance.

CLEANING BEFORE USING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Remove the appliance from the packaging and remove any packing fillers or adhesive labels.
WARNING! Wash the parts that come in contact with the
food before using them.
• Wash the bowl by hand or in the dishwasher at a temperature not exceeding 60°C.
• Dry with a dry cloth.

MAXIMUM MEASURABLE WEIGHT
The maximum permissible load for the appliance is 5 kg.
• Do not exceed a weight of 5 kg.If this limit is exceeded, the error message “Err” appears on the display.
• To prevent overowing and spillage, do not ll the bowl with more than 1500 ml of liquid.
ASSEMBLY
The scales do not come with batteries.
• Two 1.5 V AAA batteries are required. To t the batteries, open the cover on the base of the appliance,
• install the batteries, ensuring that the polarity is correct,
• and close the cover.
• Set the appliance down on a at, stable surface.
• Engage the lock point on the bowl in the bowl lock on the main body.
• Press at the sides until the bowl audibly clicks into place [Fig. B].
USAGE
• Press the On/O Zero button.
• Press the Unit button to change the unit of measurement from grammes to lb/oz or vice versa.
• To measure the volume of milk/oil/water, press Mode repeatedly until the arrow on the display points
to the relative word.
• To measure the volume of our in cups, press Mode repeatedly until the arrow on the display points
to the relative word.
• Pour the ingredients into the bowl.
• To weigh additional ingredients, press On/O Zero to reset the reading to zero.
• Add the other ingredients.
• Press and hold On/O Zero for a few seconds.
• The scales switch o automatically after approximately 30 seconds if not used.
• Remove the bowl, pressing the release button under the hand grip [Fig. C].
• Ingredients may be poured directly from the spout without detaching the bowl [Fig D].
• Clean any parts that come into contact with foodstus immediately as described in the chapter
'Cleaning and care'.
CHANGING THE BATTERIES
• The message “Lo” appears on the display when it is necessary to change the batteries.
• To dispose of batteries correctly, see the chapter 'Disposing of used batteries'.
• Two new 1.5 V AAA batteries are required. To t the batteries, open the cover on the base of the
appliance,
• install the batteries, ensuring that the polarity is correct,
• and close the cover.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
• Remove the bowl, pressing the release button under the hand grip [Fig. C].
• Wash the bowl by hand or in the dishwasher at a temperature not exceeding 60°C.
• Wash the main body of the scales with a damp sponge, squeezing the sponge out well before use.
• Dry with a dry cloth.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Should one of the problems indicated occur, adopt the proposed solution:

Change the batteries.
Check that the batteries are installed correctly and
with the correct polarity as indicated.
DISPOSAL AT END OF LIFE
The packaging of the appliance is made of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in accordance with
the environmental protection regulations.
Pursuant to Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), the
crossed bin symbol on the appliance or its packaging indicates that the appliance must be disposed
of separately from other waste at the end of its useful life.
The user must therefore take the appliance to an appropriate recycling centre for electrical and
electronic equipment. Alternatively, instead of handling the disposal, the user can hand over the
appliance to the retailer when a new, equivalent one is purchased. The user can hand over electronic

CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This appliance is guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of delivery to the customer. This will
be taken to be the date indicated on the receipt or invoice (provided that it is clearly legible), unless the
customer is able to demonstrate that the product was effectively received at a later date. In the event
of defects existing prior to delivery, the appliance will be repaired or replaced at no expense to the
customer, depending on which of the two remedies is deemed most appropriate by the manufacturer.
The customer is required to notify an authorised service centre of any defects within two months of
discovering the defect itself.
This guarantee does not cover defects or damage to any parts caused by:
a. transport damage or damage caused by accidental falls,
b. repairs or modifications performed by unauthorised personnel,
c. failure to subject the appliance to proper cleaning and maintenance as indicated,
d. normal wear of the appliance and/or its parts, and consumables,
e. non-observance of the operating instructions for the appliance, negligent or careless usage,
f. use with larger quantities of foodstuffs than indicated.
The list given above is indicative only and is not exhaustive, as the guarantee does not cover any faults
not directly attributable to manufacturing defects of the appliance itself. Any improper or professional use
of the device will immediately void the guarantee. The manufacturer cannot be held responsible for any
direct or indirect damage or injury to persons, property or pets attributable to the non-observance of any
of the directions given in the "Instruction manual and safety information handbook" for the installation,
use and maintenance of the appliance.This guarantee does not affect any retailer warranty in force.
Requesting technical support
The appliance may only be repaired by an authorised service centre.
If still covered by the guarantee, the defective appliance must be taken to an authorised service centre,
accompanies by a legally valid document proving the date of sale or delivery.
