The temperature reading is “0” even
though the Cryosauna is turned on.
An interruption in
power causes the
Control Panel to reset
the temperature
display feature.
Press “C” and the temperature will
display.
Press “C” again and you will see the
temperature display switch to
Fahrenheit. Press “F” and you will see
the temperature display switch to

6
PRV is venting gas continuously and the
Control Panel pressure shows less than 30
psi (for Software Version 8.2.1 or 8.3.7).
or
PRV is venting gas continuously (for
Software Version 7.3.1)
The tank pressure is
incorrect.
DO NOT run any Cryosauna
Sessions.
For Software Versions 7.3.1, 8.2.1 and
8.3.7:
For a Dewar tank, don safety glasses,
thermal insulating gloves, long sleeves,
long pants and closed toed shoes, then
close the liquid valve on the Dewar.
For a bulk tank, don safety glasses,
thermal insulating gloves, long sleeves,
long pants and closed toed shoes, then
press the E-Stop and close the supply
valve on the nitrogen supply line.
Contact Impact Cryotherapy support.
7
Hissing noise from the back box.
(Software Versions 7 and 8)
A loose component
such as the RTD or
the PRV.
If gas is venting, it
could be an over
pressure situation.
If the RTD capture nut is loose or the
RTD has come out, insert the RTD into
original location and tighten capture
nut with adjustable wrench.
If the PRV is venting, this is a normal
occasional occurrence when the
pressure coming from the tank to the
Cryosauna is too high.
The excess gas will vent out the PRV
located in the back box.
The software will shut down the
Cryosauna to prevent an over pressure
situation inside the Cryosauna. If the
Cryosauna shuts down due to an over
pressure situation, follow these steps:
1. Check the pressure on the tank.

CRYOSAUNA TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
If the tank pressure is over 28 psi,
vent the tank to 28 psi.
2. Open the door to the Cryosauna.
3. Run a Pre-Cool Cycle to reduce the
pressure in the Transfer Hose and
the plumbing.
4. Close the door to the Cryosauna
and let the Pre-Cool Cycle
complete.
5. Run a Session for 1 minute to verify
the over pressure situation has
been resolved.
If the situation persists, contact Impact
Cryotherapy support.
8
Hissing noise from the liquid nitrogen tank.
When the pressure in
the LN2 Dewar
approaches 28 psi the
LN2 Dewar begins to
vent and makes a
hissing noise as the
gas is released from
the tank.
Pressure in the tank is
always increasing due
to the liquid in the
tank converting to gas.
The LN2 Dewars have
an overpressure
regulator set to 28 psi.
This is a normal occurrence and is a sign
the LN2 Dewar is maintaining pressure
at or near 28 psi.
Inform your Participants (during Session
preparation) that hearing a loud hissing
noise is normal with a properly
operating LN2 Dewar.
If the situation persists, contact Impact
Cryotherapy support.
9
Pre-Cool Cycle is running longer than usual
(e.g. more than 4 minutes).
or
Cryosauna is not cooling to the target
temperature during a Session.
Either of these
conditions is likely an
indication the LN2
Dewar pressure is too
low or that the Dewar
is empty.
Check the liquid level in the tank as the
tank may be low or empty.
If the tank is empty, change the tank.
If there is liquid in the tank, check the
pressure in the tank. If it is below 18 psi,
use the pressure builder to increase
pressure to 28 psi.
If there is liquid in the tank and the
pressure is about 28 psi, contact Impact
Cryotherapy support.

CRYOSAUNA TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
10
There is a humming, buzzing or grinding
sound in the vicinity of the Cryosauna.
Solenoids sometimes
make this sound. It is
not necessarily
indicative of an
equipment failure.
The noise will likely dissipate.
If the situation persists, contact Impact
Cryotherapy support.
11
The Session has ended but it still seems
that nitrogen is coming from the
Cryosauna.
A relay switch
operating the solenoid
is faulty.
Close the liquid valve on the tank and
contact Impact Cryotherapy support.
12
The Oxygen Monitor is not working
properly.
If the Oxygen Monitor
display is blank, the
Oxygen Monitor needs
power.
If the Oxygen Monitor
is chirping or the
display is inaccurate,
the 0xygen Monitor is
malfunctioning.
DO NOT run any Cryosauna
Sessions. NEVER operate the
Cryosauna without a properly
functioning Oxygen Monitor.
If you have a portable Oxygen Monitor,
change the battery. It is a good idea to
have extra batteries on hand.
If the Oxygen Monitor is malfunctioning,
contact Impact Cryotherapy support.
13
There is a popping noise originating from
the back box or the Electrical Control
Panel.
This sound may be
indicative of a build-up
of pressure coming to
the Cryosauna.
Specifically, the
pressure relief valve is
relieving the line of
excess pressure.
If this happens during a Participant
Session, reassure the Participant this is
normal and the equipment is
functioning properly.
14
Some or all of the LED interior lights are
not working
This could mean there
are loose connections
or the LED lights need
to be replaced.
Check the pigtail connections and
the barrel connections located in the
back box in the vicinity of the
plumbing. If the connections are
loose, tighten them.
If the connections are tight, some or all
of the LED lights may need to be
replaced. Contact Impact Cryotherapy
support.
15
The Top Cap is loose.
The bolts holding the
Top Cap in place can
loosen over time.
Tighten the bolts holding the Top
Cap in place using an Allen wrench or
hex key.
If bolts are missing, contact Impact
Cryotherapy support.
