Open the Access Flap (#3) and position your iPad so the side
withthevolumebuttonsisinsertedrstasshownbelow.
After sliding it into the case, close the Access Flap (#3) tightly so
the Velcro is fully engaged on the case. To provide the highest level
ofprotection,alwayskeepthisapclosed.

Open the Access Flap (#3) and push the iPad out by placing
yourngeronthesideoftheiPadjustbelowthevolumebutton.
Push the iPad out about 1” towards the Access Flap.
Turn the case over and open the screen cover. Continue sliding
the iPad out using access on the front side of the case.
Your Fieldmate case can be used as an easel for both typing
and viewing. To position your case in either position, fold the
screen cover behind the case and insert the front edge into the
easel stand (#4) as shown below.

Tips for use
1. Thehandstrap(#1)allowsyoutokeeparmgriponyour
Fieldmate case during mobile use. It is not recommended to
use the strap as a carry handle.
2. Your Fieldmate case has openings for all buttons and ports.
Care should be taken to protect the openings from rain or
other liquids to avoid damage to your iPad.
