General information
Reading and storing the instruction manual
This instruction manual accompanies your MicroNail™
nail polisher from InnoEssentials. It contains important
information on start-up and handling. To improve reada-
bility, the MicroNail™ nail polisher will be referred to as
the“nail polisher”in this instruction manual.
Before using the nail polisher, read the
instruction manual carefully. This particularly applies
for the safety notes. Non-observance of this instruction
manual may cause damage to the nail polisher.
The instruction manual is based on the standards and
rules in force in the European Union. When abroad, you
must also observe country-specic guidelines and laws!
Store the instruction manual for future use. Make sure
to include this instruction manual when passing the nail
polisher on to third parties.

Explanation of symbols
The following symbols and signal words are used in this instruction
manual, on the nail polisher or on the packaging.
WARNING! This signal word designates a hazard with
a moderate degree of risk which may lead to death or
severe injury if not avoided.
CAUTION! This signal word designates a hazard with
low risk that, if not avoided, may result in minor or
moderate injury.
NOTICE! This signal word warns against possible
damage to property or provides you with useful
additional information.
Declaration of conformity (see chapter

symbol full the requirements of the CE directive.

Safety
Proper use
The nail polisher is designed for nger and toe nail care. The nail pol-
isher is exclusively intended for private use. It is not suitable for com-
mercial application e.g. in nger nail studios or for medical foot care.
To the extent possible, the adapters should not be used by multiple
persons. This will avoid the transmission of diseases, e.g. fungal
infection of the nail.
Do not use the nail polisher outdoors. The nail polisher is not a
children‘s toy.
Only use the nail polisher as described in this instruction manual.
Any other use is considered improper and may
result in damage to property.
The manufacturer or vendor accepts no liability for damage caused
by improper or incorrect use.
Safety notes
Risks associated with using batteries!
The nail polisher is battery-operated. Im-
proper handling of the batteries may result
in injury and damage to property.
• Store the batteries in an area that is not accessible
for children. If you suspect that a child has swal-
lowed a battery, immediately contact a physician.
• Never expose the batteries to excessive heat such
as direct sunlight, open flames or similar.
• Do not charge the batteries or reactivate them with
other means.

• Do not short circuit the batteries.
• Do not open the batteries.
• To prevent the batteries from leaking, only insert
batteries of the same type in the nail polisher.
• If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts
before inserting the batteries.
• When inserting the batteries in the compartment,
make sure that the polarity is correct.
• Promptly remove empty batteries from the nail polisher.
• If a battery leaks in the nail polisher, wear protec-
tive gloves and clean the battery compartment
with a dry cloth.
• Do not allow battery acid to come into contact
with skin, eyes or mucus membranes. In the event
of contact with battery acid, immediately flush the
applicable areas with plenty of clean water and
consult a physician if necessary.
• If you do not use the nail polisher for a prolonged
period, remove the batteries from the battery com-
partment.
Danger for children and persons with
impaired physical, sensory or men-
tal capacities (e.g. partially disabled
persons, older persons with reduced
physical and mental capacities) or
lack of experience and knowledge
(e.g. older children).
• This nail polisher may be used by children ages eight
and over as well as persons with impaired physical,

sensory or mental capacities or those lacking expe-
rience and knowledge if they are supervised or have
been instructed in how to safely use the nail polisher
and have understood the risks associated with oper-
ating it.
• Cleaning and user maintenance must not be per-
formed by unsupervised children.
• Keep the nail polisher and its accessories away from
children under eight years of age.
• Small parts and packaging foil that can be swallowed
are included in the product
contents. Keep children away from them; they could
choke and suocate.
Risk of injury due to improper handling!
Improper handling of the nail polisher may
result in injury and damage to property.
• Only use the nail polisher on your nger and toe nails;
do not use it on other parts of the body.
• Do not use the nail polisher if you suer from diabe-
tes or poor circulation.
• Do not use the nail polisher near open wounds or
inammations.
• Do not use the nail polisher if the rollers are damaged
or worn.
Risk of injury due to quickly rotating
parts of the device!
The axle and rollers of the nail polisher ro-
tate at a high speed.

If you hold the rotating rollers on one part
of the nail for a prolonged period, this may
produce heat and inict small burns under
the nail.
Long, exible objects, hair and textiles could
be drawn into the rotating rollers. This poses
a risk of injury and damage to property.
• Do not hold the nail polisher on one area of your nails
for a prolonged period.
• Keep the nail polisher away from hair, wigs and other
long exible objects, e.g. shoelaces, threads, textile
bres.
Risk of damage to property!
Improper handling of the nail polisher may
result in damage to the nail
polisher.
• Do not submerge the nail polisher in water or other
liquids.
• Protect the nail polisher from shocks, extreme tem-
peratures and direct sunlight.
• Avoid the build-up of heat by not operating the nail
polisher under a blanket or pillow.
• Do not use the nail polisher continuously for more
than 20 minutes. Then the nail polisher must cool o
for at least 15 minutes.
• Immediately switch o the nail polisher and stop
using it if you smell smoke or notice smoke being
emitted from the nail polisher during operation.

• Only use the nail polisher with the original accesso-
ries.
• Do not open the sealed parts of the nail polisher and
do not modify the nail polisher in any way.
• Do not use the nail polisher if it is damaged.
Ask your physician before you use the nail
polisher if ...
• you suer from a rash on your ngers or toes, skin
irritation or diseases of the skin such as eczema, aky
skin etc.
• you have problems with veins and vascular problems
or disorders relating to wound healing.
• if you wear a pacemaker.
• if you are not sure whether the nail polisher is suitable
for you.
Checking the nail polisher and product contents
Risk of damage!
If you are not cautious when opening the pack-
aging with a sharp knife or other pointy object,
you may quickly damage the nail polisher.
• Be very careful when opening.
1. Take the nail polisher out of the packaging.
2. Check to make sure that the delivery is complete (see g. A).
3. Check whether the nail polisher or the individual parts exhibit
damage. If this is the case, do not use the nail polisher. Contact the
manufacturer at the service address specied on the warranty card.

Operation
Inserting batteries
1. Hold the nail polisher in an upright position.
2. Push the battery compartment locking mechanism 10 in the
indicated direction (see g. B).
3. Pull the battery compartment cover 9o (see g. B and C).
4. Insert the batteries 8with the correct polarity in the battery
compartment (see g. D).
5. Put the battery compartment cover back in place.
At the same time, make sure that the recess for the On/O switch
5is properly positioned (see g. A and D).
6. Push the battery compartment cover until it audibly locks into
place.
You can now attach one of the microsmooth rollers.
Selecting a roller
The nail polisher is delivered with two microsmooth rollers. Use the
table below to select the roller that suits the intended application.
We recommend beginning with the smoothing roller and then
polishing your nails with the polishing roller.

Attaching and removing the roller

The microsmooth rollers are made of a ex-
ible material and have surfaces for smooth-
ing or polishing. Compressing the rollers
could damage the surface material.
• Do not compress the rollers.
Risk of damage to property!
If you pull the attached roller o of the
nail polisher axle while the nail polisher is
switched on, you could damage the nail
polisher.
• Never pull the attached roller that is still ro-
tating o of the nail polisher when it is on.
• Always switch the nail polisher o before
you change a roller.
Attaching a roller
7. Attach the desired roller ( 6or 7) to the axle 2of the nail
polisher (see g. A and F).
8. Carefully push the roller completely onto the axle.
9. Gently shake the nail polisher to determine whether the roller is
secure.
Removing the roller
1. Carefully grasp the bottom end of the roller ( 6or 7).
2. Pull the roller up and o of the axle 5of the nail polisher (see
g. A and F).

Using the nail polisher
Risk of damage to property!
The nail polisher is designed for short oper-
ation not exceeding 20 minutes. Using the
nail polisher continuously for more than 20
minutes could damage it.
• Then let the nail polisher cool o for at
least 15 minutes.
1. Clean your nails before using the nail polisher on them.
2. Attach the desired roller to the axle 2of the nail polisher (see
g. A and F).
3. Push the release button 4on the On/O switch 5down (see
g. A and G).
4. Push the On/O switch up to switch the nail polisher on.
5. Without applying pressure, move the nail polisher across the nail
you would like to treat (see g. H).
In the process, only move over your nails for one to two seconds
and then check the result.
6. If you are done treating your nails or if you would like to take a
longer break, switch the nail polisher o by pushing the On/O
switch down (see g. I).
Tip: If you have smoothed your nails rst, you can now polish
them. For this, change the roller as described in the chapter
“Changing the rollers”.
After you are done with your nail care, clean the nail polisher as
described in the chapter“Cleaning”.
Also observe our notes in the chapter“Tips for proper use”.

Tips for proper use
• Take your time, particularly if you are not experienced in handling
the nail polisher.
• Always apply the rollers to your nails without pressure.
• Move your nail polisher over your nails in circular motions and
without applying pressure.
• Always take short breaks and check the result.
• Always use the correct rollers with the nail polisher for your in-
tended application (see the chapter“Selecting a roller”).
• Do not use the nail polisher too often so that the stability of your
nails remains intact. We recommend you treat your nails every
two weeks.
Cleaning and maintenance
Risk of damage to property!
Liquids that have penetrated the housing
could damage the nail polisher. The rollers
are not water-proof.
• Do not let liquids penetrate the nail polish-
er.
• Only clean the roller when they are dry.
Risk of damage to property!
Using the wrong cleaners and cleaning
utensils could damage the nail polisher.
• Do not use any hard, scratching or scour-
ing cleaners and cleaning utensils, e.g.
steel wool.

Cleaning the nail polisher
After every use, clean your nail polisher as follows:
1. Take the roller o of the nail polisher (see g. F).
2. Use a paper towel to remove dust from the nail polisher, particu-
larly from the axle 2and the dust guard 3
(see g. A).
3. Use a paper towel to wipe the dust o of the rollers after use.
4. Store the cleaned, dry nail polisher and rollers in a cool, dry
location.
If the nail polisher is very dusty, you should also clean it as follows:
1. Remove the batteries.
2. Wipe the nail polisher o with a damp cloth or paper towel.
3. Dry the nail polisher with a dry cloth or paper towel.
4. Let the nail polisher air dry completely overnight without the
battery.
5. Store the cleaned, dry nail polisher and rollers in a cool, dry
location.
Replacing the rollers
• Replace the microsmooth rollers as described in the chapter
“Attaching and removing the roller”.
Always replace the microsmooth rollers:
• after three complete treatments of all ngernails and toe nails.
• if the rollers appear to be worn.
• if the rollers have cracks or are otherwise damaged.
For best results, we recommend always replacing both
rollers at the same time.

Troubleshooting
In the event of an error, see if the following steps resolve the prob-
lem.
If these steps are not successful or if your nail polisher has to be
repaired, contact the Silk’n customer service team.
Do not attempt to open or repair your nail polisher yourself. This will
void your warranty claims and the nail polisher could be damaged
as a result. Only authorised Silk‘n service personnel is trained to
perform repairs.
Fault
The nail polisher isn›t
working.
The nail polisher is very

The batteries may be empty.
• Replace the batteries with new

Disposing of the packaging
Dispose of the packaging separated into single type
materials. Dispose of cardboard and carton as waste
paper and foils via the recyclable material collection
service.

Disposing of the rollers
Dispose of the rollers in accordance with the applicable
disposal regulations for your country.
Disposing of old devices
(Applicable in the European Union and other European states with
systems for the separate collection of reusable waste materials)
Old devices must not be disposed of with household
waste!
If the nail polisher can no longer be used, every user is
required by law to dispose of old devices separate-
ly from their household waste, e.g. at a collection
point in his community/borough. This ensures that old
devices are recycled in a professional manner and also
rules out negative consequences for the environment.
For this reason, electrical devices are marked with the
adjacent symbol.
Batteries and rechargeable batteries may not be
disposed of with household waste!
As the end user you are required by law to bring
all batteries and rechargeable batteries, regardless
whether they contain harmful substances* or not, to
a collection point run by the communal authority or
borough or to a retailer, so that they can be disposed
of in an environmentally friendly manner.
Turn in the batteries and rechargeable batteries at
your collection point in a discharged state only!

Warranty note
In accordance with European regulations and laws, this product has
a 2-year warranty. The warranty for this product covers technical de-
fects attributed to production errors. Damages attributed the inux
of water are not covered by the warranty.

without having to bring the product back to your vendor or our
