To ensure the successful installation of your IS-5041 STB, read and follow the step-by-step instructions below.
1. Do you have all of the necessary equipment?
a. IS-5041 STB
b. Remote Control (This remote control is already programmed to operate your STB. Instructions on how to
program your remote to operate your TV or other devices are available from your service provider.)
c. HDMI Cable
d. Power Cord

2. Make sure your TV is turned off.
3. Connect the HDMI cable from the HDMI port on the back of the STB
to the HDMI input on your TV.
5. Plug one end of the STB power cord into the STB, and then the other end
into the power outlet.
6. As the STB starts up, it will display the following message.
4. Turn on your TV. Make sure that your TV is set to the proper input.
7. At this point you are going to connect your new STB to your Wi-Fi access point.
Press OK on the remote control to start the association process on the new STB.
You will now see the following on the TV.

10. As your STB loads, you will see a welcome screen indicating the STB is loading.
8. Go to your Wi-Fi access point and start WPS. If you don’t know what your Wi-Fi access point is, ask
your service provider for help.
[Instructions here are dependent on the type of Wi-Fi access point. These instructions are for a
IS-5112W or IS-5041W access point STB.]
To start WPS, press Menu on the access point settop box remote control. Go to Settings -> Start WPS.
9. In a few seconds, the new settop box should indicate that it has connected.
