• Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich das Netzteil bzw. das Stromkabel, nicht in der nähe heißer Flächen bendet.
• Platzieren Sie das Strom- und Netzwerkkabel so, das sich niemand verletzen kann.

• Wenn das Stromkabel oder das Gehäuse des Gerätes beschädigt wird, muss es durch den Hersteller, seinen

• Führen Sie keine eigenständigen Reparaturen durch. Durch önen des Gehäuses erlischt automatisch die
Garantie auf das Gerät. Sofern eine Reparatur nötig ist kontaktieren Sie bitte den INSTAR Service Center.
• Tauchen Sie das Gerät zum Reinigen niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten.
• Stellen Sie sicher das Sie das Gerät nur an eine dafür vorgesehenen Steckdose 100V - 245V installieren.
• Nutzen Sie immer nur das mitgelieferte Netzteil für den Betrieb des PoE Switches.
• Installieren Sie das Gerät bitte niemals in der Nähe von leicht entzündlichen Gegenständen.
• Benutzen Sie das Gerät nie für einen anderen als den vorgesehenen Zweck.
• Der Hersteller INSTAR haftet für keinerlei Schäden die durch Zubehör von Drittanbietern entstehen.
• Stellen Sie sicher das die angeschlossenen Geräte mit dem IEEE802.3af/at PoE Standard kompatibel sind.

Einführung
Der IN-PoE 8000 PoE Switch ist ein Energieversorger (Power Sourcing Equipment, PSE) welcher mit einer Band-
breite von 10/100/1000M Daten und Strom über das Netzwerkkabel überträgt. Der IN-PoE 8000 Switch ist eine
schlaue Lösung um Geräte wie drahtlose APs, IP Kameras oder andere IP basierende Netzwerkgeräte mit Strom
und Daten zu versorgen. Der IN-PoE 8000 erkennt automatisch ob ein Gerät dem PoE Standard entspricht (IEEE
PoE 802.3af / 802.3at) und versorgt dieses dann entsprechend mit Strom und Daten.
• Konform mit IEEE802.3, IEEE802.3u, IEEE802.3af, IEEE802.3at.
• Kompatibel mit Geräten die den IEEE802.3af oder IEEE802.3at Standard nutzen.
• Alle Ports unterstützen Auto MDI/MDIX
• 10/100M Auto Auswahl, Down Link Port unterstützt POE.
• Jeder PoE Port liefert bis zu max. 25.5Watt (IEEE802.3af), 30Watt (IEEE802.3at) / insgesamt max. 250W

PoE direkt übersetzt bedeutet“Strom über das Netzwerk”. Es werden die Daten als auch Strom übertragen um so IP Telefone,
AccessPoints oder IP-Kameras zu versorgen. Diese PoE Geräte nennt man Verbraucher (Powered Device, PD).

Bitte stellen Sie sicher das das Gerät welches Sie anschließen dem IEEE802.3af/at Standard entspricht.

Priorität Funktion: Diese Funktion schützt das Gerät im Falle einer Überlastung. Wenn der gesamte Stromverbrauch aller ange-
schlossenen Geräte das maximum des Switches übersteigt, werden die Ports am Switch nach Priotität behandelt. Port 1 hat in
diesem Fall die höchste Priorität und Port 8 die geringste. Das Gerät was am Port mit der geringsten Priorität angeschlossen ist
würde in diesem Fall deaktiviert werden.
Stromanschluss: Bitte nutzen Sie nur das mitgelieferte Stromkabel für den PoE Switch. Der Switch kann beschädigt werden
wenn Sie diesen nicht mit dem passenden Netzteil bzw. Stromkabel betreiben.

Installationsanleitung
1. Bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen, prüfen Sie bitte die folgenden Punkte:
1. Liefert der PoE Port des Switches die benötigte Spannung Ihres Endgerätes.
2. Entspricht der PoE Standard dem Ihres Endgerätes?
IN-PoE 8000 sendet den Strom auf Ader 4/5 (+) und 7/8 (-)
3. Ob die Angaben auf Ihrem Endgerät mit denen des Switches übereinstimmen um so Beschädi-
gungen am Endgerät bzw. dem Switch zu vermeiden.
2. Installieren Sie den PoE Switch wie unten beschrieben:
1. Platzieren Sie den PoE Switch auf einer ebenen, nicht brennbaren und stabilen Fläche.
2. Verbinden Sie das Stromkabel mit einer dafür vorgesehenen Steckdose und verbinden Sie es mit
dem Switch.
3. Verbinden Sie Ihr Endgerät per Netzwerkkabel mit einem Port des PoE Switches.
Stellen Sie bitte keine schweren Gegenstände auf den PoE Switch und sorgen Sie für eine gute Belüftung des PoE Switches.
Verbinden Sie das Stromkabel mit dem Switch und einer Steckdose. Der Switch wird automatisch starten und
sich initialisieren. Die Anzeige wird wie folgt aueuchten:
1. Außer den PoE LEDs, werden alle LEDs kurz aueuchten und dann ausgehen, was bedeutet,
das das System jetzt bereit ist.
2. Die Power LED bleibt an.
3. Strom
Sollte die Initialisierung nicht wie oben beschrieben stattnden, so prüfen Sie bitte das Stromkabel Ihres IN-PoE 8000.

2. Die folgenden Situationen schließen eine Garantie aus, können jedoch gegen Bezahlung
repariert werden:
• Gerät bendet sich nicht innerhalb der 2 jährigen Garantiezeit.
• Fehlfunktion oder Beschädigung verursacht durch eine fehlerhafte Installation, Benutzung, Wartung oder
Nichtbefolgung der im Handbuch beschriebenen Anweisungen.
• Veränderung oder Entfernung des Produkt Barcodes bzw. der Seriennummer auf dem Produkt.
• Modikation der Firmware oder bei unbefugtem önen des Gerätes.
• Produktbeschädigungen die durch menschliche Fehler entstanden sind wie z.B. falsche Eingangsspannung
an Gerät angeschlossen, Aussetzung zu hoher Temparaturen, Überschwemmung, Mechanischer Beschädi-
gung, starker Oxidation oder ähnlich.
• Beschädigung durch unsichere Verpackungen beim Transport wenn Gerät eingesendet wird zur Reparatur.
• Schäden, die durch höhere Gewalt, wie Erdbeben, Feuer, Überschwemmungen oder Blitzschlag entstehen.
• Artikel mit oensichtlichen mechanischen Beschädigungen, Rissen, ernsthaften Deformation, freigelegten
Teilen usw.
1. Garantiezeitraum:

• INSTAR gewährt auf seine Produkte eine 24-monatige Bring-In Garantie. Innerhalb dieser Zeit können
Sie Ihr Gerät zu einer kostenlosen Reparatur einsenden. Die Garantie beginnt mit dem Kaufdatum. Wenn
Sie Ihr Gerät einsenden, legen Sie immer Ihre Kaufrechnung sowie das ausgefüllte RMA Formular mit bei.
Ansonsten wird die Garantiezeit auf Basis des Produktionsdatums berechnet.

3. Spezialanweisung
• Die“kostenlose Reparatur” während der Garantie ist limitiert auf die Hardware des Gerätes und beinhaltet
keine Zubehörteile..
• Innerhalb 14 Tage nach dem Kauf, können Geräte die einen technischen Defekt aufweisen und optisch
unversehrt sind, kostenlos gegen das gleiche Modell ausgetauscht werden. Für Rücksendungen die
zur Erstattung gesendet werden und sich in einem nicht verkäuichen Zustand benden wird eine
Wiedereinlagerungsgebühr erhoben.
• Bitte senden Sie uns keine Rücksendungen unfrei zurück. Unfreie Sendungen werden nicht angenom-
men. Wenn Sie Ihr Gerät zurückgeben möchten, zahlen Sie bitte die Versandkosten. Sofern Ihr Gerät
innerhalb der ersten 14 Tage nach Ihrem Kauf einen Defekt erleidet, bekommen Sie die Versandkosten für
den Rücktransport an INSTAR entsprechend zurückerstattet.
• Für alle Geräte die innerhalb der 2-jährigen Garantie repariert werden müssen, hat der Kunde dafür zu
sorgen das der Artikel zur Reparatur an INSTAR gesendet wird. Die Kosten für die Sendung an INSTAR
übernimmt der Kunde. Die Rücksendekosten an den Kunden übernimmt INSTAR.
• Ergänzende oder Sonderkosten für z.B. den Einbauservice können nicht erstattet werden.

5. Austausch, Rücksendung zur Reparatur oder Rückgabe

• Für einen Austausch oder eine Reparatur, kontaktieren Sie bitte Ihren lokalen Verkäufer oder das INSTAR
Service Team indem Sie eine Email an rma@instar.de schreiben um so eine RMA Nummer zu erhalten.
Schreiben Sie diese RMA Nummer auf das RMA Formular und senden Sie es zusammen mit dem Produkt
und der Rechung an den INSTAR Service Center:
Gemäß der Europäischen Richtlinie 2002/96/EC über Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte (WEEE) dürfen
Elektrohaushalts-Altgeräte nicht über den herkömmlichen Haushaltsmüllkreislauf entsorgt werden. Alt-
geräte müssen seperat gesammelt werden, um die Wiederverwertung und das Recycling der beinhalteten
Materialien zu optimieren und die Einüsse auf die Umwelt und die Gesundheit zu reduzieren. Das Symbol
“durchgestrichene Mülltonne” auf jedem Produkt erinnert Sie an Ihre Verplichtung, dass Elektrohaushaltsgeräte

• Make sure the power cord is not near any hot surfaces.
• Place the power and network cable properly so that no one can get hurt.
• This device shall not be used by people (including children) with limited physical, sensory and mental
capabilities. Only the trained person that knows how to use the device carefully can use the device.
• Children should be supervised to make sure they don’t play with the device.
• If the power cord of this device gets damaged, it can only be replaced by the manufacturer or the customer
service person or a similar qualied person to avoid any damage to you and the device.
• Never do any repair by yourself. By opening the device the warranty will automatically expire. If any repair
is needed, please contact your INSTAR Service Center.
• When cleaning, please never place the device in water or other liquid.
• Make sure you only install the device in a 100V - 245V power socket.
• Make sure you only use the included power cable for the PoE switch.
• Never install the device near explosive or ammable substances.
• Don’t use the device for any other purpose that it isn’t made for.
• INSTAR does not give any warranty for damages caused by third party devices.
• Please make sure the device is installed in an area with good ventilation or an air-conditioned room.
• Please make sure that the connecting devices are compliant with the IEEE802.3af/at standard.
• Please note that the PoE pins are 4, 5(+), 7,8(-) and your powered device shall be compliant.

1. Introduction
The IN-PoE 8000 PoE Switch is a Gigabit Switch that can provide 10/100/1000M Ethernet Data and Power over
Ethernet cable. As an Ethernet Power Sourcing Equipment (PSE), this switch is a very smart and safe equipment
for Wireless APs, IP Cameras and IP based network equipment. Compared to other PoE switches in the market, the
IN-PoE 8000 is a smart switch designed to autoamtically detect and identify whether the connected devices such
as IP cameras comply with standard IEEE PoE 802.3af / 802.3at and supply power for them accordingly.

PoE is Power over Ethernet technology, it is refering to transfer both Ethernet data and DC Power at the same time to devices
such as Wireless APs or IP cameras. These devices which receive DC power from PoE Switch are called Powered Devices(PD).

Priority Function: This function will protect device in case of overloaded, if the total power consumption of all powered devices
are higher than specied, the ports of IN-PoE 8000 Switch will be sorted by prirority ranking from highest priority (Port 1) to lowest
priority (Port 8), and the power supply of lowest priority will be turned o.
Power Port, Power adapter: The IN-PoE 8000 has an built-in power adapter. Please connect the power cord at the back of the
casing. Please input AC110-245V/50Hz for internal power supply switch.

1. Before installation, please check the following list:
1. whether the PoE port power meets the power requirement of the connecting devices.
2. whether the PoE standard requirement and power supply match with the power receiving devies
IN-PoE 8000 powers through pin 4/5 (+) and 7/8 (-)
3. whether the power output of the power adapter is consistent with the specication written on the
lable of this PoE switch.
2. Please install the PoE switch according to the following steps:
1. place the PoE switch on the at, not burnable and stable surface.
2. plug the power cable into the power socket and then connect it to the PoE Switch.
3. connect the network devices to the PoE switch port through a network cable.
Please do not put heavy objects on the PoE switch, and please ensure good ventilation environment for the PoE switch. Please
cut o the power rst before plugging the power adapter.
Connect the power cord to the switch. When the power is connected, the switch will automatically
initialize, at this time, the following cases will occur for the LED lights:
1. Except for the PoE port LEDs, all other LEDs will light up shortly and then turn o, which means the
system is now successfully restored.
2. Power LED remains on.

If initialization is inconsistent with the above, please check the power cable.

2. The following situations are beyond the scope of free maintenance, while we can oer you
paid service:
• Beyond Warranty period.
• Malfunction or damage caused by installing, using, maintaining or keeping the products not according to
the User Manual and INSTAR’s instruction.
• Altering, tearing up the product barcode, seriel number lable without authorization.
• Changing the product rmware or disassemble the product without authorization.
• Product damage caused by accidents or human behavior, such as inappropriate input voltage, high tem-
perature, water ooding, and mechanical damage, broken, serious oxidation and rusting, etc.
• Damage caused by inappropriate transportation, loading and unloading when the clients return the
product to repair.
• Damage due to force majeure, such as earthquake, re, ood, lightning.
• Damage caused by other design, technology, manufacturing and quality other than product itself.
• Product with obvious mechanical damage, cracks, serious deformation, bare core, etc.
1. Warranty Period:

• INSTAR oers a free replacement or return for credit within 14days after purchase and a 2-year warranty
period on purchased products. During warranty period you can send in your device for a free repair. The
warranty starts from the purchase date. When sending in, please include the purchase invoice together
with the RMA form, otherwise, the warranty will be calculated from the date of production.

3. Special Instruction
• The“free repair and free replace”warranty is limited to the products main body hardware and does not
include accessories.
• Within 14days after ordering, the products with performance problem and without outlook damage can
be replaced with a new one of the same model. Returns for credit not in resalable condition will incur a
restocking fee at the discretion of INSTAR.
• Please do not return the goods to us as freight collect. Freight-collect shipping will be rejected. In
case you want to return your product, please pay the postal fee prior shipping. In case your product has to
be repaired within the rst 14 days after receiving the product, we will refund you the postal fee since the
product already had a defective shortly after the delivery.
• For any products in need of repairment within the 2-year-bring-in warranty, the customer will need to
send the product to INSTAR and pay the postal fee. INSTAR will then repair the product and ship it back
to the customer.
• Supplementary and special costs can not be refunded. Cash on delivery mailing will not be accepted.

The European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), requires that
old household electrical appliances must not be disposed of in the normal unsorted municipal waste
stream. Old appliances must be collected separately in order to optimize the recovery and recycling of
the materials they contain and reduce the impact on human health and the environment. The crossed out
“wheeled bin”symbols on the product reminds you of your obligation, that when you dispose of the appliance it
must be separately collected. Consumers should contact their local authority or retailer for information concern-
