6) You should be able to hear received transmissions from other radios through your
 Bluetooth headset and also be heard when transmitting. Use the volume adjust
 ment on the radio to set the incoming sound as loud as comfortable without distor
 tion in your headset, then adjust the volume with your Bluetooth headset thereafter.
 Be aware that some Bluetooth headsets take several seconds to “wake-up” from
 sleep mode after a period of non-use. This cannot be affected by the BIRD-1.
7) When you have finished use of the Radio dongle, a long (10 second) press of the
 “Pairing Button” will shut the unit OFF. The Bluetooth PTT will receive a signal to
 shut down.
Power:
 1) Charge your BIRD-1 using the mains 240v to 5v USB adapter provided,
 using the USB lead provided. Red flashing light indicates charging which
 changes to solid red when charging is complete
 2) You can power the Radio dongle from your vehicle using a suitable USB
 adapter that has a 5v output.
Lights:
OFF: Power off
Red/blue quick flash: Preparing for Pairing mode
Red/blue slow flash: Pairing mode
Red flash 2x per 10 seconds: Battery Low
Red flash 1x per second: Charging
Red solid: Fully charged
Blue flash 1x per 3 seconds: Standby mode
Blue solid: Working mode
