WHEN CONNECTING AND DISCONNECTING LIGHTS TO THE CONTROLLER, THE USER MUST ENSURE THAT POWER IS
DISCONNECTED FROM THE CONTROLLER OR PERMANENT DAMAGE MAY OCCUR TO THE LIGHTS AND/OR
CONTROLLER THAT MAY NOT BE COVERED BY WARRANTY.
Warning: This is an electrical product. If the wire to the power supply or lights is damaged, it must either be replaced by the manufacturer or
a similarly qualified person(s) in order to avoid a hazard such as an electric shock. This product is not recommended for children.

I. Important Safety Instructions
1. Read and adhere to all instructions provided with the product.
2. Do not place the lights or controller in areas where there is extreme heat or cold.
3. Do not place near sources of heat such as candles, heaters or fireplaces.
4. Do not drop the controller, remote control or lights on hard surfaces.
5. When used outdoors, install only to a covered Class A GFCI protected, weatherproof receptacle. Completely cover the outlet box
when plugged in.
6. Do not secure with sharp fasteners such as staples and nails as this may damage the wire.
7. Do not close doors or windows on the wiring.
8. Do not hang ornaments or other objects from cord, wire or light string.
9. Do not cover the product with cloth, paper or any material not part of the product when in use.
10. Do not let lamps rest on the supply cord or on any wire.

11. Unplug the product when leaving the house, when retiring for the night, or if left unattended.
12. Do not install within 12 feet of a pool or container of standing water.
13. Use a soft clean rag to clean the controller, remote and lights. Do not wash the controller, remote or lights with any fluids or
detergents, as this may cause permanent damage.
14. Do not use with an alternative power supply. Contact manufacturer for a compatible and safe replacement.
15. Do not use this product for alternative uses.
16. Save these instructions for future reference.
Note: This is a seasonal product not intended for permanent installation.
II. Use and Care Instructions
1. Before use & reuse, inspect product carefully. Discard any products that have cut, damaged, or frayed wire insulation or cords, cracks in the
lamp holders or enclosures, loose connections, or exposed copper wire.
2. When storing the product, carefully remove the product from where it is placed to avoid any undue strain or stress on the product
conductors, connections and wiring.
3. When not in use, store neatly in a cool, dry location protected from sunlight.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to replace lamps or modify string.
III. Installation Instructions
1. This product can be installed either indoors or outdoors, but avoid splashing water from reaching the power supply.
2. Light controller box should be kept in a dry place off the ground.
3. Before first use and re-use, carefully remove, unwrap and separate components from the
packaging.
4. Inspect product for damaged or exposed wiring, cracked bulbs or cracked power supply. Do not
install damaged components.
5. Decorate your home and/or garden elements with the light string(s). Be sure not to stretch or
strain the wiring.
6. Zip ties, gutter hooks, guide wires, etc. may be used to mount the strings.
7. Plug the light controller into the male end of the light string.
8. Firmly tighten all plugs. Do not over-tighten.
9. Plug the 5-volt DC power supply into the female end of the light string.
10. Insert the 5-volt DC power supply into an 110V-125V wall receptacle. This must be plugged into a safe
weatherproof location. DO NOT connect the power supply to outlets that are exposed to the elements.
11. Operate with the remote control.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of fire and electric shock, DO NOT mount on support strings that can cut or damage wire
insulation.
Note: Not for use with dimmers.
IV. Operating Instructions
RGB stands for Red, Green & Blue. Within each bulb is a Red LED, a Green LED and a Blue LED. These LEDs are blended by the light controller,
changing the color of every bulb on the light string on demand. The user can control InteliColor SpectraShow’s RGB lights by…
1. The 29-key remote control (→): Allows the user to select up to 3 alternating colors, adjust the speed, brightness
& direction, store to memory as well as quick reference 16 built-in effects, and
2. The light controller box (←): Pressing the button allows the user to scroll through 24
built-in effects—including eight effects not on the remote control. This button will not turn
the lights on or off.

NOTE:THE GREEN LED ON THE CONTROL BOX WILL FLASH WHEN A BUTTON ON THE REMOTE CONTROL IS PRESSED.IF THE LED DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE REMOTE
CONTROL,INSTALL OR REPLACE THE BATTERY IN THE REMOTE CONTROL.READ ON FOR MORE SAFETY &TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS.
*Note: Light Show button will run custom color effects only if a custom color is set. If Rainbow is displayed and set by the Pre-Set Combos
button, then Light Show will include all effects. (See “Pre-Set Combos” section below.)
V. Selecting Colors
1. Press-and-Hold “Color 1” on the remote control as the lights scroll through the color wheel.
2. Release the “Color 1” button when the color you would like to select is displayed on the light string.
3. Repeat Steps 1 & 2, with the “Color 2” & “Color 3” buttons on the remote control.
4. If you would like to display only two different colors, release “Color 3”when scrolling through the color wheel as the strings go
dark.
5. If you would like to display a single color, repeat Step 4 for both “Color 2” & “Color 3”.
6. Select any of the Custom Color Effects on the Remote Control. The Custom Color Effects are listed over the Green background.
Note: The color wheel cycles in this order: Saturated colors -> 4 types of White shades -> Pastel colors -> Dark -> back to Saturated, and so on.
VI. Pre-Set Combos
As an alternative to setting your own colors, SpectraShow has 15 quick reference color combinations. These are accessed in the following order
by pressing the “Pre-Set Combos” button on the Remote Control:
1. Red & White
2. Green & White
3. Pink & White
4. Purple & White
5. Yellow, Green & Blue
6. Purple & Orange
7. Red, White & Blue
8. Purple & Green
9. Purple, Green & Orange
10. Orange & White
11. Yellow & White
12. Red & Green
13. Red, Green & Blue
14. Blue & White
15. Wide-rainbow will display to indicate
all colors will be used for custom effects.

VII. The Built-In (Pre-Programmed) Effects
There are 24 built-in effects from which to choose. These can be cycled through by pressing the button on the controller box.
Sixteen effects can be quick-referenced by the Remote Control. The first eight effects are “Custom-Color” effects, allowing the user to choose
colors (via buttons “Color 1”, “Color 2” & “Color 3”). Custom-color effects have a Green background on the Remote Control: Solid, Comets,
Chase, Twinkle, Bounce, Glow, Waves & Blend.
The next eight effects are “Fixed-Color” effects. These effects play with all the colors, over-riding the user-selected Custom colors. Fixed-color
effects have a Red background on the Remote Control: Morph 1, Morph 2, Rainbow, Spectrum, Expand, Explode, X-Mas & White X-Mas.
VIII. Storing Favorite Colors & Effects
The 29-key SpectraShow remote allows users to save, store and quickly retrieve two favorite effects. The user can change favorites anytime.
1. Display desired colors, effects, speed & brightness on the light string.
2. Press Save A or Save B.
3. Press Recall A or Recall B to display the last effect chosen by Save A or Save B, respectively.
Warning: Strobe lights & flashes have been known to trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy.
IX. The Remote Control Battery Usage
1. Keep this product’s battery away from small children and pets. If ingested, contact a physician immediately.
2. Always install the correct size and grade battery: CR2025, 3-volt lithium cell.
3. Ensure the battery is installed matching the correct polarity (+ and -) of the remote control.
4. Ensure the battery contacts are clean.
5. Remove battery from remote if it is not to be used for an extended period of time. This increases battery life and prevents leakage
into remote.
6. Remove dead batteries from the remote immediately.
7. Rechargeable batteries are not recommended for use in this product.
CAUTION: Batteries may explode, leak or cause burn injuries if recharged, disposed of in fire, mixed with different battery types, inserted
backwards or disassembled.
X. Troubleshooting Tips
1. No lights are working
Check that the power outlet is receiving power by plugging in another device, or lamp
If plugged into a GFCI outlet, reset it if activated
Check to see if switches or timers control the outlet
Check that the 5-volt DC power supply is connected to the controller and that the power supply is plugged into the power
outlet and turned on
Check that the remote is functional by noticing a green LED flash on the controller box
Disconnect power and then check to ensure the lights are connected correctly and that all plugs are secure. Then
reconnect power and check
Check that there is no damage to the light wiring
Look for moisture or corrosion in all connections
Perform full recycle of power; Unplug all connections on all components, then reconnect & power up
2. Remote does not function
Check that the battery is charged by noticing the green LED on the controller box flash when any button is pressed
Ensure remote is pointed at the controller box and not the lights
Ensure remote is within range of the controller (approximately 35-feet max distance), by noticing the green LED on the
controller box flash when any button is pressed
Ensure there are no solid obstructions between the remote and the controller—maintaining a line of sight between the
remote control and controller box
3. Not all the lights are working
Ensure all power has been reset after all connections have been made
Check that there is no damage to the light wiring
Select a different controller effect
Perform full recycle of power; Unplug all connections on all components, then reconnect & power up

XII. Warranty Information
3-Year Limited Guarantee –Subject to the exclusions contained below, S&S LED Imports LLC, at its option, will at no charge repair, replace
(with the same or equivalent product), or refund the purchase price if this product fails to light due to defects in material or workmanship
within three (3) years from the date of purchase. To obtain service, ship the product prepaid along with the Original UPC & original dated
legible proof of purchase to S&S LED Imports, L.L.C., 4902 Carlisle Pike - Box 195, Mechanicsburg PA 17050, Attn: Customer Service. Allow 6-8
weeks for handling. Returning the product to us helps us to monitor and improve product quality. Please include your return address, phone
number and e-mail address in addition to the other information requested.
Exclusions –This product is intended for residential seasonal use only (90 days maximum per year), and was pre-tested and date-coded prior to
shipment. This limited guarantee extends only to the first consumer purchaser, and is not transferable. This guarantee does not include:
1) Commercial use, 2) Normal wear & tear, 3) Products not used in accordance with directions provided on or with the product, 4) Burnout of
bulbs or LEDs, 5) Batteries, 6) Products that have been subjected to unauthorized repair, and/or modification, or 7) Damage caused by shipping,
improper handling, alterations, misuse or accidents.
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTOES OF MERCANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A
PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY. OTHERWISE THE REPAIR, REPLACEMENT, OR
REFUND AS PROVIDED UNDER THIS EXPRESS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE EXCLUSIVE REMEDY OF THE CONSUMER, AND IS PROVIDED IN LIEU OF
ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL S&S LED IMPORTS, LLC BE LIABLE, WHETHER IN CONTRACT OT TORT
(INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE) FOR DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF THE PURCHASE PRICE OR THIS PRODUCT, OR FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE USE OF THE PRODUCT TO THE FULL EXTENT
THESE DAMAGES MAY BE DISCLAIMED BY LAW.
