Piece Name
2 Moulded part made from rigid integral poly-
urethane foam
2 Clamp made from VA spring wire

6 Installing at the Bottom of Housings
The two half-shells made from rigid integral polyurethane
foam are placed around the impulse line. The thin-wall
covering of the adapter is cut out to fit the diameter of
the pipe. Both halves are held together laterally with the
two clamps made from Cr-Ni steel. The insulation ad-
apter is attached to the protective enclosure/box with the
two brackets and the plastic bolts for firm fastening.
The insulator can then link up with the conical stub of the
ISOPASS.

7 Installation on insulated Housings
If the insulation adapter is installed on non-insulated
standard boxes, please follow the installation instructions
under Installing at the Bottom of Housings [}Page 4]
or Installing at the Side or at the Top of the Housing [}
Page4].
In the case of foam-filled boxes such as INTERTEC DI-
ABOX or INTERTEC MULTIBOX, there are thicker wall
thicknesses. To attach the insulation adapter with the
plastic bolts M6, you must first cut holes at the desig-
nated positions using a screw tap M6.
For installing on INTERTEC protective enclosure, M6 in-
sert nuts (Art. No. NNMA-M6.3-5) with a specially adap-
ted GFK adapter plate instead of the plastic bolts must
be ordered separately. Both articles must be ordered
separately.
8 Installing at the Side or at the Top of
the Housing
Additional necessary accessories (not included in
the standard delivery): silicon sealing compound

For installation at the top or side of the housing, the ISO-
PASS insulation adapter must also be sealed against the
penetration of moisture. Firstly, cut-outs corresponding
to the diameter of the pipe must be made in the thin-wall
covering of the adapter. Afterwards, silicon sealing com-
pound is applied on all contact surfaces from the adapter
to the housing wall and on the contact surfaces between
the adapter halves. After installing the adapter on the
housing, all edges are sealed with sealing compound.
Lastly, the transitions to the pipe are sealed.
