FRONTPANELFEATURES
1.POWER:TurnstheAmplifieronandoff.

speakerisdeactivated.Thesignalissenttobothsidesofstereoheadphones.

17.GAINSW:ThisselectorswitchesbetweenGainStages1 and2.
18.CONTOURThisadjuststhecurveofthefrequenciesthatwillbeemphasizedintheharmonicdistortionofGainStage
Rotatedcompletelycounter-clockwise,themidfrequenciesareemphasisedwhilethehighsandlowsareattenuated,
creatinga "closed"soundforrhythmguitarplaying.Rotatedcompletelyclockwise,thisattenuatesthemid
frequenciesandincreasesthelowandhighfrequencies,creatinga soundtypicalofhard-rockguitar.
19.GAIN2:ThiscontrolsthegainappliedtothesignalfromtheinstrumentwhentheOverdrivechannelisselectedand
whenGainstage2 isselected.Thisgainstageproducesa moresaturateddistortion,typicalof"High-Gain"or
"Modern"styleamplifiers.
20.GAIN1:ThiscontrolsthegainappliedtothesignalfromtheinstrumentwhentheOverdrivechannelisselectedand
