Activated carbon fiber intercepts particulate matter,
rust, and suspended solids. The activated carbon
fiber effectively removes more than 99% chlorine,
chloroform, and other organic contaminates from
your drinking water. Our ion exchange filter reduces
water hardness and will remove all anions and cations
from the water. Some examples of common inorganic
contaminants that are removed are fluoride, chromium,
lead, arsenic, cadmium, copper, mercury, and iron.
The InvisiClean Difference
Stage 1- Coarse Filter - Removes Fine
particles and sediment
Stage 2- Comprehensive Ion Exchange
Filter - Softens and demineralizes water
Stage 3- Slow Distribution Filter - Distributes
water evenly across the filter and maximizes
filtration time
Stage 4- Multilayer Carbon Filter - Removes
chlorine, lead and other chemicals
Stage 5- Non Woven Filter - Additional filter
that removes fine particles and sediment

INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
• Clean pitcher, lid, and water basin by washing and rinsing thoroughly with warm water only. Rinse all items
thoroughly when washing with soap. Do not put in dishwasher.
• Discard all plastic bags, as they could be a suffocation hazard to young children.
Safety Precautions: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without proper
disinfection before using the system. Individuals requiring water of specific microbiological purity should consult their
physician first. Unless notified otherwise, municipal water is potable. If a new filter will be exposed to prolonged cold
temperatures, store filters at room temperature for a few hours before passing water thorough for the first time.

WHEN TO CHANGE FILTERS
The amount of time between filter changes will vary greatly based on the water quality in your area.
We recommend the use of an inexpensive TDS (Total Dissolved Solids) meter to measure both your
tap water and filtered water. Please use the chart below for an estimate of how long your filters will
last based on TDS level. We recommend changing the filter when the TDS goes above 10 or the taste
of the water changes significantly.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
1) Why does my filter have moisture inside?
The filter is packaged after rinsing to keep it from drying out which can shorten the life of the filter.
2) How often do I change filters?
Please refer to the “WHEN TO CHANGE FILTERS” section of this manual.
3) How much water can I filter at a time?
The basin holds 4 cups (1 quart) at a time and can be filled twice to fill to the pitcher’s 8 cup(2 quart) capacity.
4) Why does my water taste acidic or fishy?
This means the filter has reached the end of it’s life and should be replaced. Other reasons this can happen are from using hot water or letting the
filter dry out for a long period of time. This will shorten the filter life.
5) Why did my filter not last very long?
For high (TDS 400+) areas this can happen rather quickly and it probably not a good fit for this type of filtration. Other reasons this can happen are
from using hot water or letting the filter dry out for a long period of time.
6) Will this remove bacteria and viruses from the water?
No, please make sure the water is properly disinfected and safe to drink before filtration.
7) Can I use water from a well or other sources?
Our system is designed to be used with tap water only. If the input water TDS is high the filter life will be short.
8) What contaminants will this pitcher remove?
Our filtration technology uses a combination of activated carbon fiber and an ion exchange. Our ion exchange array reduces water hardness and will remove
all inorganic particles from the water. Some examples of common inorganic contaminants that are removed are fluoride, chromium, lead, arsenic, cadmium, copper,
mercury, and iron. This is not a comprehensive list and the filter will remove many other inorganic contaminants from the water.
9) Is drinking water with no salt or minerals bad for you?
In a well balanced diet, minerals should be derived from the foods you eat. If salt or mineral intake is a concern we recommend adding a pinch of
natural salt to your water before drinking.
10) Is the pitcher dishwasher safe?
No, we recommend hand washing only.
11) Can I use hot or boiling water?
Please use cool or room temperature water only. Hot water will damage the filter.

QUICK START GUIDE
Step 1: Unscrew the filter ring
clockwise and remove. Check
o-ring is properly seated.
O-RING
FILTER
RING
Step 2: Insert filter into basin and press
firmly to seat in place. Screw on the filter
ring from the bottom and tighten lightly to
hold filter in place. Do not overtighten.
Step 3: Place the basin with the filter attached back into the
pitcher making sure to align the notch on the basin with the
pour spout and install the lid back on. Fill the basin with cool
tap water. Please discard the first pitcher of water before
consuming.
MAINTENANCE AND PRECAUTIONS
Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or with water of unknown quality without adequate
disinfection. This product should only be used with water that has been adequately chlorinated or
disinfected. For use with municipal cold water (tap water) only. DO NOT USE WARM OR HOT WATER.
Make sure the filter fits snugly but do not overtighten. If the filter is not seated properly, unfiltered tap
water may flow around the filter and into the pitcher.
Rinse and dry your pitcher and parts completely. Leftover tap water or soap residue may affect the taste
of the purified water. Check the O-ring on your filter. If there is no O-ring present on your filter, unfiltered
tap water will flow around the filter into the pitcher. Do not put in dishwasher.
Check for cracks in the pitcher, basin, and filter. If you have a crack, please contact customer service for
additional instructions.
For maximum efficiency, filter no more than 2 gallons daily. If the flow speed declines, remove the filter,
shake off the water by hand. Insert and use again.
Be careful not to overfill as water may overflow the basin and contaminate purified water.
We recommend storing your pitcher in the refrigerator to get cold, great tasting water. If you prefer
keeping your pitcher outside of the refrigerator, it is recommended that you keep it in a cool area without
direct sunlight and replace any filtered water that has been left sitting for several days or more. This will
ensure you get refreshing, great tasting water. If your filter has been unused for a long period, please soak
the filter for 10 minutes before re-use.
