Model 6115S
Description
The Mounting Stand allows users to have hands-free operation of the AirForce Ionizing Blow-off Gun.
This manual provides installation instructions for the stand only. For installation, operation, or mainte-
nance information on the Ionizing Blow-off Gun, refer to Ion Instruction Manual #19-6115.
Installation
Determine the location where you want to install the mounting stand. Ion recommends locating the
stand on a work bench so that the nozzle of the gun is within 6" of the point of ionization.
Install the mounting stand using the two 10-32, 1.75" screws packaged with the stand. The use of equiv-
alent hardware for mounting is also acceptable. See the cover photo for a mounting example.
Remove the turnscrew at the top of the stand and open the clamp just enough so that the gun hose can
be inserted. See Figure 1.
Slide the gun so that the clamp is just below the trigger bump. Tighten the turnscrew so that the gun is
held tightly by the clamp. See Figure 2.
Position the gun at the point of ionization and operate in accordance with the Ionizing Blow-off Gun
operating instructions.

Warranty and Service
Ion provides a limited warranty for the Model 6115S Airforce Ionizing Blow-off Gun Mounting
Stand. New products manufactured or sold by Ion are guaranteed to be free from defects in material
or workmanship for a period of two (2) years from date of initial shipment. Ion’s liability under its
new product warranty is limited to servicing (evaluating, repairing, or replacing) any unit returned to
Ion that has not been subjected to misuse, neglect, lack of routine maintenance, repair, alteration, or
accident. In no event shall Ion be liable for collateral or consequential damages.
