STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
GET THE APP
HOW TO DOWNLOAD THE APP
01. Connect the ION360 U device to your smartphone.
02. A popup will prompt you to download and install the app.
03. Begin the tutorial and swipe through to the next slide.
04. Tap to enable location permission from OS to allow photos and videos to be geo-
tagged later if preferred, or skip.
05. Next,taptoenablepushnoticationpermissiontokeepyourdeviceup-to-date.
06. Once your ION360 U app is set-up, a camera tutorial to will lead you through the 360°
camera and video experience.
SNAP IT ON
HOW TO USE THE BATTERY CASE
01. Slide smartphone all the way into the bottom of the CASE. The lightning/micro-USB
connector on the CASE should be fully inserted into the phone.
02. Gently push the phone into the CASE until it is snugly encased.
03. Press the status button on the CASE once. The LED light bar will show current battery
level for 3 seconds.
04. To start or stop charging your phone from the CASE, press and hold the status button
for 3 seconds.
05. Connect the CASE with phone to a computer or USB power adapter (not supplied) to
charge your phone and the CASE simultaneously.
POWER UP
BEFORE USING THE 360 VR CAMERA FOR THE FIRST TIME, YOU MUST FULLY
CHARGE THE BATTERY CASE.
01. Using the supplied micro-USB cable, connect the CASE with your computer or any
USB power adapter. (not supplied).
02. While charging, the LED light bar will blink.
03. Once fully charged, the LED light bar will be solid white.
04. Disconnect the USB cable from the CASE. The LED light will go off.
SHOOT AMAZING 8MP IMAGES AND 4K VIDEO
HOW TO USE THE ION360 U VR CAMERA
01. Slide the CAM all the way over the top of the CASE so that the USB-C connector of
the CAM is fully inserted into the CASE.
02. The CAM will be automatically turned on and the power button LED will light up.
03. If your phone already has the ION360 app installed, it will open automatically if on the
Home screen or in any other Apps.
04. GET THE ION360 APP: Don’t have the app? Download it to start capturing and
streaming. Refer to GET THE APP section above.
05. POWER OFF: To turn off the CAM, press the power button. Its LED will go off.
If the CAM is not being used for 2 mins, it will be automatically turned off.
06. NOTE: CAM is powered by the CASE. If the CASE is out of battery, the CAM
cannot operate.
07. When CAM is in use, your phone can’t be charged through USB or CASE.
