IMPORTANT!!
To obtain optimum adhesion, the
bonding surfaces must be clean, dry and
applied at room temperature.
After application, the bond strength
will increase as the adhesive flows
onto the surface. At room temperature,
approximately 50% of the ultimate
strength will be achieved after 20
minutes, 90% after 24 hours and 100%
after 72 hours.
Step 2
Remove the VHB protective film on base and loosely align
the Rushmore Street Glide mounting base to the inner
fairing. Take extra time for proper center alignment.
****HELPFUL TIP****
The base of the mount is profiled to match the profile of
the inner fairing. Loosely attached the mounting plate
and use the center hole in the Iron Aces logo for proper
centering. The base has a small amount of flex, therefore
the fitment will be affected if base it tightened snuggly.
Step 1
Using the supplied alcohol prep pad, thoroughly clean
the inner fairing surface where the Rushmore Street Glide
Mount will be installed.
****IMPORTANT****
Allow this surface to thoroughly dry before mounting the
Rushmore Street Glide Mount.
Step 3
Once proper alignment is achieved, press firmly on the
base of the Rushmore Street Glide Mount for 30 seconds.
****IMPORTANT****
Bond strength is dependent upon the amount of adhesive-
to-surface contact developed. Firm application pressure
develops better adhesive contact and helps improve bond
strength.
