• Do not attempt to alter or repair the appliance or access the interior.
• Disconnect the appliance from the power source before filing/emptying the water tank, before cleaning, before
assembling/dismantling of individual parts, and before moving the appliance.
• Do not reach inside the nebulizer area during operation. The high frequency oscillation causes the membrane
to become hot.
• Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas. To avoid fire hazard, NEVER put the cord under rugs or near heat registers.
• Do NOT place humidifier near heat sources such as stoves, radiators, and heaters. DO locate your humidifier on
an inside wall near an electrical outlet. The humidifier should be at least 4 inches (10cm) away from the wall
for best results.

Aroma Compartment
For scented mist, add fragrant essential oil (not included) to the sponge in the compartment.
Demineralization Cartridge
• Soak the demineralization cartridge in a water bath 1 hour before the first use;
the granules have to absorb water in order for the unit to perform correctly.
• Your humidifier is not designed for water which has passed through a water
softener which uses a salt. The humidifier’s demineralization cartridge cannot
absorb the salt, resulting in a white precipitate forming inside the appliance.
If a white precipitate should form anyway, the capacity of the demineralization
cartridge has been exhausted. This can occur sooner or later depending on the
hardness of the water. In this case, please replace the demineralization cartridge.
• We recommend that you do not use the appliance if your water hardness is over
25 fH.
Filling the Water Tank
• Always switch off the appliance before removing the water tank. Do not reach inside the nebulizer space while the
appliance is running!
• To protect health, safety, and proper humidifier function, use only clean, contamination-free, cold, fresh tap water in
your humidifier. If your water source is contaminated or if you are uncertain of its safety, please use distilled water.
• Do not operate the appliance when the water tank is empty!
• When the water reaches the minimum level, the unit will switch off automatically.
