or incorrect operating procedures or conditions and
can be avoided by taking proper precautions as
given below:
Maintain a rm grip with both hands1.
on the saw and position your arms to
resist kickback forces. Position your body
to either side of the blade, but not in line
with the blade. Kickback could cause the
saw to jump backwards. But kickback force
can be controlled by the operator, if proper
precautions are taken.

a cut for any reason, release the switch and
the blade to maintain the electric saw a
complete stop in the cutting material. Never
attempt to remove the saw from the work or
pull the saw back ward while the blade is in
motion or the kickback occurs. Investigate
and take corrective actions to eliminate the
cause of blade binding.
When restarting a saw in the workpiece,3.
the saw blade should be arranged in the
center of the cut and the saw teeth should be
checked whether engaged in the material or
not. If the saw blade is binded, it may walk
up or kick back from the workpiece when the
saw is restarted.
Support large panels to minimize the4.
risk of blade pinching and kickback. Large
panels tend to sag under their own weight.
Supports must be placed under the panel on
both sides, near the line of cut and near the
edge of the panel.
Do not use dull or damaged blades.5.
Unsharpened or improperly set blades
produce a narrow kerf which causes excessive
friction, blade binding and kickback.
Blade depth and bevel adjusting locking6.
levers must be tight and secure before
making a cut. If blade adjustment shifts while
cutting, it may cause binding kickback.
Caution: when making a deep cut into7.
existing walls or other blind areas. The
protruding blade may cut objects and cause
kickback.
Safety rules for using the tool
Check the lower guard for proper closing before•
using. Do not operate the saw if the lower guard
does not move freely and close instantly. Never
clamp or tie the lower guard in the open position.
If the saw is accidentally dropped, the lower guard
may be bent. Raise the lower guard with the blade
guard lever and make sure that it moves freely and
does not touch the blade or any other part, in all
angles and depths of cut.
Check the operation of the lower guarding•
spring. If the guard and the spring are not operating
properly, they must be serviced before using. The
lower guard may operate sluggishly due to the
damaged parts, the gummy deposits, or the build-
up of debris.
Lower guard should be retracted manually only•
for special cuts such as deep cut and compound
cuts. Raise the lower guard by blade guard lever.
As soon as the blade enters the material, the lower
guard must be released. For all other sawing tasks,
the lower guard should operate automatically.
It should be always observed whether the lower•
cover covers the blade completely before placing
the saw down on bench or oor. An unprotected,
coasting blade will cause the saw to walk backward
and cut whatever in the path. Be aware of the time
it takes for the blade to stop after the switch is
released.
Do not use any abrasive wheel blade or round•
saw blade of the same size. Only special metal
blades can be used in this machine.
A dustproof eye mask should be worn when dust•
occurs during cutting.
Use blades recommended by the manufacturer.•
Use ear protection for long time operation of the•
equipment.
Pay attention not to strike the metal cutting•
machine. Do not use this machine if the casing is
broken or the power cable switch is exposed.
When cutting metal or any other materials,•
the force should be even. Never wobble the metal
cutting machine.
Do not cover the ventilation slot, and clear dust•
or other materials on it.
Do not clamp the metal cutting machine with•
pincers. Do not carry out cutting with the metal
cutting machine inversely clamped in pincers, for it is
very dangerous and may lead to serious accidents.
Do not let metal chips be sucked into the air inlet•
of motor during operation to avoid any damage to
the motor.
Ensure there’s no one underneath the metal•
cutting machine during aloft work.
Do not touch the saw blade right after cutting, as•
the saw blade may be hot and may burn skin.
Do not touch cut materials right after cutting, as•
the material may be hot at the moment.
Do not use cutting machine lubricate, or re•
disaster may occur.
Do not start saw plate if it contacts with•
workpiece. The cutting should be carried out after
the saw plate is in full speed.
Store idle tools. When not in use, tools should be•
