INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
1) Manipular el paquete con cuidado. Desembalarlo y comprobar que
el contenido coincide con lo indicado en el apartado de la “Lista de
embalaje”. Si se observa algún componente dañado o la ausencia de
alguno, avisar rápidamente al distribuidor o a J.P. Selecta, s.a.u.
2) No instalar ni utilizar el equipo sin leer, previamente, este manual
de instrucciones.
3) Estas instrucciones forman parte inseparable del equipo y deben
estar disponibles para todos los usuarios.
4) Cualquier duda puede ser aclarada contactando con el servicio
técnico de J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
5) ¡ATENCIÓN! NO SE ADMITIRÁ NINGUNA MÁQUINA PARA RE-
PARAR QUE NO ESTÉ DEBIDAMENTE LIMPIA Y DESINFECTADA.
6) Toda modicación, eliminación o falta de mantenimiento de cual-
quier dispositivo de la máquina, transgrede la directiva de utilización
89/655/CEE y el fabricante no se hace responsable de los daños que
pudieran derivarse.
7) No utilizar el equipo con uidos que puedan desprender vapores o
formar mezclas explosivas o inamables.

ESPECIFICACIÓN TÉCNICA
Tensión de alimentación 115-230V 50/60 Hz según se indique en
la placa de características de la máquina.
FUNCIONAMIENTO DEL TERMOSTATO DE SEGURIDAD
En caso de que un mal funcionamiento del equipo de regulación pu-
diera provocar una temperatura excesiva, entraría en funcionamiento
un termostato de seguridad que provocará el corte de las resistencias
de calefacción y el encendido del piloto de sobretemperatura del panel
frontal.
Para rearmar el termostato hay que parar el equipo para que se enfríe
y volverlo a poner en marcha. En caso de persistir la avería, avisar al
Servicio Técnico.
DESCRIPCIÓN DEL EQUIPO
El desecador termostático al vacío VACUO-TEMP está diseñado para
permitir la desecación a temperaturas regulables desde temperatura
ambiente + 5ºC hasta 170ºC con una estabilidad de ±2ºC. La regula-
ción de la temperatura es electrónica y con lectura digital (3 dígitos)
de resolución 1 dígito.
Incorpora una sonda de temperatura Pt100, elemento calefactor blin-
dado, conexión posterior para bomba de vacío, válvula toma de vacío
y campana en vidrio templado y junta de silicona.
La placa superior está realizada en aleación especial de aluminio con
supercie recticada y regata para junta de estanqueidad. El cuerpo
exterior realizado en acero inox AISI 304.

INSTALACIÓN
Colocar el equipo sobre una superfície plana, horizontal y nivelada,
procurando dejar un espacio libre de 10 cm. alrededor del equipo.
Para un mejor funcionamiento del desecador, no situarlo en lugares
expuestos directamente al sol ni a fuentes de calor.
No utilizar el aparato para el secado o tratamiento de productos
que puedan desprender vapores o formar mezclas explosivas o
inamables.
Asegúrese que el equipo se conecta a una tensión de red que
coincide con la indicada en la placa de características.
No utilice el equipo sin estar conectada la toma de tierra.
Si cambia la clavija del enchufe, tenga en cuenta lo siguiente:
Cable azul: Neutro
Cable marrón: Fase
Cable amarillo/verde: Tierra

PUESTA EN MARCHA
1. Accionar el interruptor de puesta en marcha (1).
2. Seleccionar el led de temperatura (b) con la tecla (e) para encender-
lo. Pulsar la tecla SET (d) y mantenerla pulsada mientras selecciona
la temperatura con las teclas (e) y (f), que se mostrará en el display
(a).
3. Seleccionar el led de tiempo (c) con la tecla (f) para encenderlo.
Pulsar la tecla SET (d) y mantenerla pulsada mientras selecciona
el tiempo con las teclas (e) y (f), que se mostrará en el display (a).
4. Comprobar que la junta esté bien ajustada y situar la campana de
vidrio.
5. Abrir la válvula (4) y conectar la bomba de vacío en la tetina (7).
6. Realizar el vacío y cuando el mano-vacuómetro indique el vacío
deseado, cerrar la válvula (4).
7. Desconectar la bomba de vacío de la tetina (7).
8. Pulsar Start (g) para que el equipo empiece a funcionar con los
parámetros de temperatura y tiempo cambiados anteriormente. El
led de temperatura (b) o tiempo (c) empezará a parpadear, lo que
signica que el equipo está calentando. La temperatura empezará a
subir hasta alcanzar la programada. Una vez llega a la temperatura
deseada, el tiempo programado empieza a descontar. Cuando llegue
a cero, el led se quedará jo encendido, y dejará de calentar.
9. Cuando se necesite extraer la campana, abrir la válvula (4).
Nota: Si el material del interior de la campana puede desprender
algún vapor que pueda dañar la membrana de la bomba de vacío, se
recomienda instalar una trompa de vacío entre la bomba y el Vacuo-
temp.
¡ATENCIÓN! Tome las precauciones necesarias para evitar quemaduras,
la placa puede estar a temperatura elevada incluso después de parar el equipo.

MANTENIMIENTO
Antes de quitar la tapa del equipo para manipular en su interior,
desconecte la toma de red.
La manipulación de los circuitos electrónicos internos de la es-
tufa por personal no autorizado puede provocar daños de difícil
reparación. Asegúrese de llevar el equipo a uno de los servicios
técnicos autorizados por J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
LIMPIEZA:
Para la limpieza de las diferentes piezas de los equipos, recomendamos
los siguientes productos:
Limpieza del acero inoxidable: Alcohol.
Limpieza de carátulas y plásticos: Alcohol con algodón o un paño no
abrasivo.
RECAMBIOS
Para garantizar la seguridad del equipo, los recambios deben
adquirirse a J.P.SELECTA, s.a.u.
GARANTÍA
Este producto tiene una garantía de un año. La garantía no cubre
los daños causados por un uso indebido o por causas ajenas a J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u.
Cualquier manipulación del equipo por personal no autorizado por J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u. anula automáticamente los benecios de la garantía.

EQUIPMENT DESCRIPTION
VACUO-TEMP thermostatic vacuum dryer is designed for drying at
adjustable temperatures from +5ºC up to 170ºC with a temperature
uctuation of ±2ºC. Electronic temperature regulation and digital reading
(3 digits) with 1 digit resolution.
It includes Pt100 probe, shielded heating element, vacuum pump rear
connection, vacuum valve and tempered glass bell with silicone gasket.
The upper plate is made of special aluminium alloy with surface grinding
and sealing gasket. Outer casing is made in AISI 304 stainless steel.
TECHNICAL FEATURES
Voltage supply 115-230V 50/60 Hz according to the features plate
indications.
WORKING OF THE SAFETY THERMOSTAT
If a bad function of regulation produces an abnormal increase of the
temperature, the safety thermostat starts working blocking the heating
of the machine, and the overtemperature indicator lamp on the frontal
panel lights up.
To reset the thermostat, stop the machine, leave it cool and start up
again. In case that the failure continues, call the autorized technical
service.

Do not use the equipment for drying or for treatment of products which
can give off gases or make explosive or inamable mixtures.
Be sure that the voltage supply is the same as the one indicated on the
equipment features plate.
Do not use the equipment if it is NOT earthed.
If you have to change the plug, bear in mind the following:

INSTALLATION
Put the equipment on a at, horizontal and level surface leaving a space

For maximum efciency, do not place the equipment in direct sunlight
or other sources of heat.

CONTROL PANEL

STARTING UP
1. Press the main switch (1).
2. Select the temperature led (b) to be lit with key (e). Then press key
SET (d) and keep it pressed to select temperature with buttons (e) and
(f). This will be shown in the display (a).
3. Select the time led (c) to be lit with key (f). Then press key SET (d)
and keep it pressed to select time with buttons (e) and (f). This will be
shown in the display (a).
4. Check that the gasket is adjusted and place the glass bell.
5. Open the valve (4) and connect the vacuum pump in to the nipple (7).
6. Do the vacuum, and when the vacuum gauge shows the desired
vacuum, close the valve (4).
7. Disconnect the vacuum pump from the nipple (7).
8. Press the Start key (g) in order that the equipment begins to ope-
rate with the temperature and time parameters already changed.
Temperature (b) or time (c) led will begin blinking, which means
that the equipment is warming up. The temperature will increase
till reaching the programmed temperature. Once reached, the time
programmed begins to discount. When the time arrives to zero, the
led will remain xed on and the machine will stop warming up.
9. When it is necessary to remove the glass bell, open the valve (4).
Nota: If the material inside the glass bell can produce gases that can
damage the membrane of the vacuum pump, it is recommended to
place a water jet pump between the vacuum pump and the Vacuo-temp.
CAUTION! Serious burns can be produced, with the hotplate surface,
even after switching off the equipment.

SPARE PARTS
To guarantee the safety of the equipment, the spare parts must be
purchased from J.P.SELECTA, s.a.u.
GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed for one year. The guarantee does not cover
damage caused by an incorrect use or causes beyond the control of
J.P. SELECTA, s.a.u.
Any manipulation of the equipment by unathorized personnel by J.P.
SELECTA, s.a.u. cancels the guarantee automatically.
MAINTENANCE
Before removing the cover, disconnect the equipment from the
mains.
The manipulation of the dryer internal electronic circuits by un-
authorized personnel can cause irreparable damage. Take it to one
of the J.P.SELECTA’s authorized technical services.

For the cleaning of the different parts use the following products:
