
Active Driving Assist Systems
The LaneSense systemLaneSense system warns you if your vehicle drifts out of the lane without
a turn signal applied. Your vehicle may provide a visual warning, apply pressure
to your steering wheel, or both. LaneSense can be enabled or disabled using the
button on the switch panel below the Uconnect display.
The Forward Collision Warning systemForward Collision Warning system provides
the driver with audible and visual warnings, and may
apply a brake jerk to warn the driver when it detects a
potential frontal collision.
The Adaptive Cruise Control systemAdaptive Cruise Control system will adjust
the speed you have set in order to maintain a set
distance from the vehicle in front of yours.
The Cruise Control systemCruise Control system will hold your vehicle’s speed when you
take your foot o of the accelerator.
The ParkSense systemParkSense system alerts you when an obstacle is detected when backing up or moving forward.
It can also detect obstacles on the sides of your vehicle within a specied range. The brakes may be
automatically applied and released during a reverse parking maneuver if the system detects a possible
collision with an obstacle.
The Blind Spot Monitoring systemBlind Spot Monitoring system uses sensors
to detect vehicles that enter the blind spot zones from
the rear, front, or side of the vehicle.
The ParkSense Active Park Assist systemParkSense Active Park Assist system aids you in parallel and perpendicular
parking maneuvers by identifying a parking space, providing audible and visual instructions,
and controlling your vehicle’s steering wheel. You maintain control of the gear selector,
accelerator, and brake pedals during these maneuvers, which also includes exiting a
parallel parking space.
You can use your radio to adjust the Blind Spot Monitoring
alerts to include lights on the outside mirrors only, lights
and an audible chime, or turn the alerts o entirely.
