WARNING: To avoid possible serious injury:
Always keep your hand away from the rotating screwdriver
bit. The bit could slip off the screw and injure your hand.
Never wear gloves. A glove could get caught in the rotating bit
or screw and injure your hand.
Never touch the ON/OFF switch while changing screwdriver
bits.
INSERT BATTERIES (NOT INCLUDED)
Install four “AA” Alkaline batteries as follows:
1. Squeeze latches (1) on each side of the battery box (2) and
pull the battery container out of the tool handle (3)
(see Fig. 1).
2. Insert 4 batteries in the battery box.
NOTE: Make sure the batteries are positioned exactly as
indicated by the illustrations in the battery box.
3. Slide the battery box back into the tool handle.
NOTE: Make sure the slots (4) in the battery box match up
with the keys in the tool handle. The battery box will only fit
one way.
SETTING POWER/MANUAL CONTROL
To drive or remove screws using the battery power, rotate the
power/manual control (1) so the indicator (2) is set on power (3)
(see Fig. 2). To lock the screwdriver in manual mode for final
tightening or loosening screws, rotate the power/manual control
so the indicator is set on manual (4).
INSERTING SCREWDRIVER BITS
Insert one of the supplied screwdriver bits (1) into the metal
chuck (2) (see Fig. 3).
NOTE: The screwdriver bits will be held in the chuck
magnetically.
DRIVING & REMOVING SCREWS
1. Insert appropriate screwdriver bit as noted above.
2. Place the tip of the screwdriver bit (1) fully into the screw
head recess (see Fig. 4).
NOTES:
a) Press the ON/OFF button from the RIGHT side (2) to drive
screws. Press the ON/OFF button from the LEFT side (3) to
remove screws.
b) To stop the screwdriver bit from rotating, release the
ON/OFF switch button. It will move to the middle (OFF)
position
3. Push the screwdriver to firmly hold the screwdriver bit in the
screw head while driving or removing screws.
NOTE: Hold the screwdriver with one or two hands,
whichever is more comfortable.

MISE EN GARDE : Avant d’utiliser cet outil,
veuillez lire toutes les règles de sécurité et les instructions
d’utilisation.
MISE EN GARDE : Pour éviter les risques de
blessure grave :
Gardez toujours les mains à l’écart de l’embout du tournevis
lorsqu’il tourne. L’embout pourrait glisser hors de la tête de la
vis et vous blesser les mains.
Ne portez jamais des gants. Le gant pourrait rester coincé dans
l’embout ou la vis qui tourne, ce qui risque de vous blesser les
mains.
Ne touchez jamais à l’interrupteur marche/arrêt (ON/OFF)
lorsque vous changez l’embout du tournevis.
INSTALLATION DES BATTERIES (EN SUS)
Installez quatre piles alcalines « AA » en suivant ces directives :
1. Pressez sur les taquets (1) situés de chaque côte du boîtier
des piles (2) et tirez sur le boîtier pour le sortir du manche de
l’outil (3) (Fig. 1).
2. Insérez 4 piles dans le boîtier des piles.
REMARQUE : Assurez-vous que les piles sont placées dans
le boîtier exactement comme les illustrations l’indiquent.
3. Replacez le boîtier des piles dans le manche de l’outil.
REMARQUE : Assurez-vous que les fentes (4) dans le boîtier
correspondent aux clés dans le manche de l’outil. Il n’existe
qu’une seule façon d’insérer le boîtier des piles dans le
manche.
RÉGLAGE DES COMMANDES - À PILES OU MANUELLE
(POWER/MANUAL)
Pour enfoncer ou enlever les vis à l’aide du tournevis alimenté
par piles, tournez la commande (1) pour que l’indicateur (2) soit
vis-à-vis Power (à piles) (3) (Fig. 2). Pour bloquer le tournevis en
mode manuel lors du vissage ou du dévissage final, tournez la
commande pour que l’indicateur soit vis-à-vis Manual (manuel)
(4).
INSTALLATION DES EMBOUTS DE TOURNEVIS
Insérez un des embouts de tournevis (1) inclus dans le mandrin
en métal (2) (Fig. 3).
REMARQUE : Le mandrin aimanté retient solidement l’embout
de tournevis.
VISSAGE ET DÉVISSAGE
1. Insérez l’embout de tournevis approprié en suivant les
directives précédentes.
2. Placez la pointe de l’embout du tournevis (1) dans la fente de
la tête de vis (Fig. 4).
REMARQUES :
a) Pour enfoncer la vis, appuyez à DROITE (2) sur le bouton
marche/arrêt (ON/OFF). Pour enlever la vis, appuyez à
GAUCHE (3) sur le bouton marche/arrêt (ON/OFF).
b) Pour arrêter le tournevis, relâchez l’interrupteur
marche/arrêt (ON/OFF), qui reviendra à la position centrale
(OFF).
3. Poussez sur le tournevis pour que l’embout tienne solidement
dans la tête de la vis lors du vissage ou du dévissage.
REMARQUE : Tenez le tournevis avec une ou deux mains,
selon ce qui est le plus confortable.
