Pre-Installation
1. Clean windshield thoroughly before installing the DVR with the
suction cup mount.
2. Review your local and state laws regarding car DVR recorders
objects that may block the driver’s view. Do not break any laws
or obstruct the driver’s view when you install your DVR.
3. Be aware that the DVR is not meant to be used without a
power source.
Ongoing Maintenance
1. Make sure you remove your SD card monthly and confirm that
that it is still recording properly.
Post-Installation
1. Format your SD card to communicate with the DVR. Specific
instructions on this are found on the following page.
2. Take a short drive and record it with your DVR. Review the video
on your computer to make sure it is installed in a location for
viewing the road.
SD Card Formatting Instructions
1. Format : Press twice to enter into setting and press Down
button to a appropriate mode (format), press REC button
to confirm.
Basic Operation
1. Please insert the TF card, DVR supports the memory size
from 1G to 32G.
2. Connect the car charger with the DVR, then connect the DVR
with car cigarette socket.
3. Recording
(1) Manual Recording: Press ON/OFF button for one second,
the DVR will switch on, and you will hear one "beep" sound,
then blue indicator light turns on , the DVR starts to record
automatically, and blue indicator light flashes slowly, Press
REC button, the DVR stops to record and save the data,
then enters into standby status, the blue indicator light
stops to flash and keeps on running.
(2) Recording Via Car Charger：The DVR will record
automatically when car's engine starts，press REC button,
the DVR stop to record and save the data, then enter into
standby status, the blue indicator light stop to flash and
keep on running.
(3) Motion Detect Recording: Turn on the DVR, and keep
the motion detection on, if it detects movement from any
object within 3 meters, the DVR starts to record
automatically.
4. Photo Taking
In standby mode, press the MODE button to click the video
and photograph switching, enable the photo taking function,
press REC button,the screen turns off for a while, then turns on
again,It means that photo taking is successfully. The DVR
supports 4x digital zooms by pressing the UP/DOWN button to
adjust the focus.
5. Video Playback from DVR
In standby mode，Press MODE button twice, then you enter
into viewing mode, press DOWN button to choose the video
which you need to playback, then press REC.
Note: In viewing mode, click MENU button, then you can
enter into the menu to delete the files, display the thumbnail or
adjust the sound volume, press REC button to confirm.
6.Photo Viewing
In standby mode, Press MODE button twice, then you enter
into viewing mode, press UP button to choose the photos
which you need to view, then press REC.
Note: In viewing mode, click MENU button, then you can
enter into the menu to delete the files, display the thumbnail,
press REC button to confirm.
7.PC Webcam
Use the USB cable to connect PC and it will pop up
“MSDC / PCCAM / POWER”, choose PCCAM. Open “my
computer” and it will display the icon double click the
icon and it can be used as PC camera.
9. Battery Charging
You can charge the battery via USB data cable or car charger,
the red indicator light turns on, it will be off upon the battery is
fully charged, normally it takes 12 hours, you can turn off the
DVR for charging also.
Note: If you use the USB data cable to connect with computer
for charging, due to the power consumption reason, we
suggest to disable the night model feature first.
8.Files Storage and playback from PC
When you finish recording, connect the USB data cable to
computer, and you can copy or cut the files to computer for
playback, or you can take out the TF card, and insert into card
reader, and playback via PC player.
Note: If you use the USB data cable to connect with DVR, to
use that the function of "Disk Drive" is enabled, in this case
you can find the removable hard disk from PC.
10. Reset
If the DVR crash or any abnormal working, you can press the
RESET button to restore the machine.
Press ON/OFF button, the DVR has the feature of recording
automatically upon power going on，so press the REC to stop
recording, then press Menu button to enter into setting, Press
UP/DOWN button to select the menu which you need to adjust,
press REC to confirm, press MENU button one more time to
exit.
Menu Setting under recording mode
Note: The following settings are required that the DVR must
be in MENU setting mode, you can press menu button twice to
change the menu pages.
1. Resolution: Video resolution selection, press MENU button to
enter setting, press UP/DOWN to select, press REC to confirm.
2. Loop recording: To set up the time of loop recording. Press
MENU button to enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN
button to select the appropriate mode (Default:3mins), press
REC button to confirm.
3. Exposure: Mainly to adjust the video brightness, press MENU
button to enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default:+0.0), press REC button to
confirm.
4. Motion Detect: Movement recording, press MENU to enter
into setting, and press UP/DOWN button to select the
appropriate mode (Default:Off) Press REC button to confirm.
5. Record Audio: The video with sound or without, press MENU
button to enter into setting, and press UP / DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default: off) Press REC button
to confirm.
6.Date Stamp: Display the date on the video, press MENU
button to enter into setting, then press UP /DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default:On), press REC button
to confirm.
7. Gsensor: To adjust the sensitivity of Gsensor. Press MENU
button to enter into setting, and press UP / DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default:MIDDLE) Press REC
button to confirm
Menu setting under photo taking mode
In standby mode, click the MODE button to enter into the photo
taking mode, then press the MENU button to enter into setting.
Note: The following settings need to be conducted in photo
taking mode.
Press MENU button to enter into setting, then press
UP/DOWN button to selete the appropriate mode
(Default: Off), and press REC to confirm.
1. Capture Mode: Press MENU button to enter into setting, then
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default:Single), press REC button to confirm.
2. Resolution: Pixel selection, press MENU/SNAP button to
enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN button to select the
appropriate mode (Default:3M), press REC button to confirm.

.4. Quality: Quality of photos selection, Press MENU button to
enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN Button to select
the appropriate mode (Default:Fine), press REC button to
confirm.
5. Sharpness: Press MENU to enter into setting, and press
UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: Normal) Press REC button to confirm.
6. White Balance: Mainly used for light distortion when shooting
in the room, press MENU button to enter into setting, then
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default:Auto) , Press REC button to confirm.
7. Color:Press MENU button to enter into setting, and press
UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode(Default:
Color), Press REC button to confirm.

8. ISO: Press MENU button to enter into setting, then press
UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: Auto), Press REC button to confirm.
9. Exposure: Adjust the brightness of photos, press the MENU
button to enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default: +0.0). Press REC
button to confirm
11.Anti-Shaking: Press MENU button to enter into setting, and
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: Off), then press REC button to confirm
12. Quick review: Press MENU button to enter into setting, and
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: Off), then press REC button to confirm
13. Time Stamp: Watermark showing on photos, press MENU
button to enter into setting, then press UP /DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default: Off), Press REC button
to confirm.
System Setting
10.Face Detection: Press MENU button to enter into setting and
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: Off) / Face detection / Smile Detection
Note: Date display format are as following: YY / MM / DD,
DD/MM/YY, MM/DD/YYYY.
3. Auto Power off: In standby mode, if there is without any
operation within 3, 5 or 10 mins, the DVR will shut down
automatically, Press MENU button to enter into setting, and
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default: off), Press REC button to confirm.
5. Language:Languages selection for menu, press MENU
button to enter into setting, and press UP/ DOWN button to
select the appropriate mode (Default: English), press REC
button to confirm.
4. Beep Sound: the sound for every setting. Press MENU button
to enter into setting, and press UP/DOWN button to select the
appropriate mode(Default:on), press REC button to confirm.
Note: Support languages: Simplified Chinese, Traditional
Chinese, Japanese, Russian, English, French, German,
Italian, Spanish, Portuguese
6. TV Mode: NTSC and PAL optional, Press MENU button to
enter into setting, and press UP/DOWN button to select the
appropriate mode, press REC button to confirm.
1. Date/Time: Press MENU to enter into setting, and press
UP/DOWN button to select, if you need to modify the
time, press the REC to enter at this time, you can press UP/
DOWN to adjust the time, if you need to change the date display
format, press DOWN button for selection, press REC button to
confirm.

7. Frequency:Press MENU button to enter into setting, then
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate mode
(Default:50Hz), press REC button to confirm.
8. Lamp setting: Press MENU button to enter into setting, then
press UP/DOWN button to select the appropriate
mode (Default:off), press REC button to confirm
10.Backlight: The time to shut backlight. Press MENU button to
enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN button to select the
appropriate mode (Default:off), press REC button to confirm
11.Format: Press MENU to enter into setting, if you want to
delete all the data, press REC again and use UP/DOWN
button to select, then press REC to confirm.
12.Default Setting: Reset to default. Press MENU button to
enter into setting, then press UP/DOWN button to select
the option you need, press REC button to confirm
13.Version: Press REC button and get the version information.
9. Image Rotation: (Default:off) to rotate180° image, Press
MENU button to enter into setting, press Down until the
appropriate mode. (OFF / ON) Press Rec button to confirm
