Never connect more than two KYDZ
Suite Panels in a straight line without
using KYDZ Suite Stabilizer Wings
or without being connected to a
stationary Jonti-Craft furniture item.
If Jonti-Craft furniture items or Stabilizer
Wings are not used, KYDZ Suite and
Jonti-Craft furniture items can be assembled
at 45˚ or 90˚ angles.
To ensure your set-up is stable, Stabilizer Wings and/or Jonti-Craft
furniture items should be added when using KYDZ Suite to divide a
room. Always place KYDZ Suite Stabilizer Wings (sold in pairs) at 180˚
compliments, perpendicular to a Panel.

KYDZ Suite Panels must always be connected at the ends, either to another Panel, a wall (via
the KYDZ Suite Wall Adapter), a stationary Jonti-Craft furniture item or a pair of KYDZ Suite
Stabilizer Wings.
The KYDZ Suite Immobilizer Blocks (set of 4) must be used to prevent Jonti-Craft mobile furniture
items from moving before attaching the KYDZ Suite Panels to the units.

Use KYDZ Suite Cascade Panels to connect from E-Height to A or T-Height. Do not attempt to
connect different height items together without the use of a Cascade Panel.

KYDZ Suite Welcome Gates and Welcome Arches must either be connected to KYDZ Suite Panels
at an angle other than 180˚ (straight line) or be connected to a stationary Jonti-Craft furniture item.
They can also be supported via a pair of KYDZ Suite Stabilizer Wings on each end. The Welcome
Gates and Welcome Arches should be placed on a flat surface with the handle facing outwards,
away from the space children primarily occupy.

Arch (1553JC) and the KYDZ Suite Welcome
Arch – Tall (1554JC) can be connected
to either E-Height or A-Height options.
Where possible, the preferred connection
is A-Height options (A-Height KYDZ Suite
Panels, E to A-Height KYDZ Suite Cascade
Panels, or 35½” high or taller stationary
Jonti-Craft furniture).
The KYDZ Suite Welcome Gate (1550JC)
and KYDZ Suite Welcome Arch – Short
(1552JC) can only be connected to
E-Height options (E-Height KYDZ Suite
Panels, any KYDZ Suite Cascade Panels, or
29½” high or taller stationary
Jonti-Craft furniture).

When placing KYDZ Suite Panels above an item
like a storage unit, (i.e., Upper Deck Divider)
always use specifically assigned kits and follow
assembly instructions. In these cases, the bottom
unit or Panel must be secured at both sides by
using KYDZ Suite Stabilizer Wings, 15” or 18”
deep stationary Jonti-Craft furniture items, or
connected to a structural wall. Go to page 16 for
Upper Deck Divider assembly instructions.
KYDZ Suite Panels are the same length as
most Jonti-Craft units, so they can easily be
interchanged with one another.

Assembling Hubs
To remove the
connector block,
first unscrew the
top cap by twisting
counter clockwise
with your hand. Once
loose, simply pull off
connector block.
To lock Hub, replace
connector block.
Then retighten top cap
by twisting clockwise
with your hand.
The Hub is now
ready to use.

5. Your Panels should look similar to this
after they have been connected with the
Hub. NOTE: a Hub can be attached to
more than two items at a time (i.e., two
Panels and two Stabilizer Wings).
Assembling Panels
1. Unscrew the top cap of
the KYDZ Suite Hub
and remove plastic
connector block and
set aside.
2. Slide the Hub Connector Tab
on the bottom of the first
Panel into a groove in the
bottom connector block.
3. Slide the Hub Connector
Tab on the second Panel
into a groove in the bottom
connector block at desired
angle.

4. Replace the top connector block by
aligning the Hub Connector Tabs on
the two Panels with the grooves and
the post with the connector block
Screw in the top cap until tight.

Assembling Hub Connector Tabs
1. To apply Hub Connector Tabs to a Jonti-Craft furniture
item, first place the Tab Mounting Template included
in your starter kit on the side of the unit as shown.
Depending on where the tabs are to be placed, align
the edge of the template with the front or rear edge of
the furniture item. Mark the holes for the appropriate
height Hub Connector Tabs needed. Remove the
template and set aside.
3. Attach the Hub Connector Tabs by inserting two
#6 – ¾” flat head screws (supplied) through the
holes in each tab and into the drilled holes of the
Jonti-Craft furniture item. Tighten using a medium
Phillips head screw driver.
4. Repeat steps to add Hub
Connector Tabs to opposite
sides or to other units.
2. Drill holes using the 1 /16”drill bit from
the starter kit. NOTE: Drill no
deeper than the red of the drill bit.
(½” deep).

Assembling Items to Jonti-Craft Units
To connect a KYDZ Suite item to a Jonti-Craft
furniture item, first follow the instructions on
page 10 while using the included Tab Mounting
Template. Once the Hub Connector Tabs are in
place, slide the unit into a groove in the bottom
connector block.
Next, place the top connector block
into place and screw the top cap
into the post.
Slide the Hub Connector Tab on the Panel into
a groove in the bottom connector block at
desired angle.

Assembling Wall Mounts
1. First unscrew the top cap of
the Hub and remove the top
connector block. Next, insert the
Wall Connector into a groove in
the bottom connector block with
the Hub Connector Tab.
2. Next, replace the top
connector block and
screw in the top cap.
3. Find a stud in the wall.
NOTE: Wall Connector MUST
be attached to a wall stud.
4. Screw in the two supplied #8 – 2½” screws
through the holes in the Wall Connector and
into the wall. Be sure the screws are securely
into the stud.
5. Your Wall Connector is now
securely in place.

Assembling Immobilizer Blocks
Installing Immobilizer Blocks allows you to convert a mobile Jonti-Craft furniture item to
a stationary unit. To insert Immobilizer Blocks under a mobile Jonti-Craft furniture item,
slide one block under the base rail in each corner of the storage unit. The unit may need
to be lifted slightly. The kickplate or bottom rail of the unit should rest in the groove of
the Immobilizer Block.

To adjust the Accordion Panel, when standing
looking at the knob side of the Panel, loosen
the knobs by turning them counter clockwise.
NOTE: Do NOT fully remove knob, loosen just
enough to slide Panels (about 1½ full rotations).

Slide Accordion Panel to desired
length. Tighten knobs to lock Panel
into place by turning knobs clockwise
(about 1½ full rotations). Follow
instructions on page 9 to attach an
Accordion Panel to other KYDZ Suite
items and page 11 to attach to Jonti-
Craft furniture items.
CAUTION: To prevent children from
playing with the knobs, face side of
Panel with knobs outward, away from
the space children primarily occupy.

Assembling Filler Plates
If installing a Filler Plate, remove the top caps
of the Hub and place the Filler Plate over the
top connector blocks.
Reinsert the top caps and tighten.
There should no longer be a space between
your Jonti-Craft units.

Assembling Upper Deck Dividers
1. First attach Hub Connector Tabs to rear of the
Jonti-Craft furniture item on both sides by
following directions on page 10. Then attach
Hub (without top cap and top connector block)
to the mounted Hub Connector Tabs at the rear
of the unit. Repeat for other side.
3. Now place the top connector block into place.
2. Next insert a Stabilizer Wing into a groove in the
bottom connector block of each of the Hubs.

4. Screw in the provided threaded rod so 1½”
sticks out of the top connector block. Place
the bottom connector block over the
threaded rod and screw on the wood dowel
until tight. Repeat for other side.
6. Place the top connector blocks over the Hub
Connector Tabs on the Panel and screw in
the top cap from the Hubs.
7. Your Upper Deck Divider is now ready
for use.
5. Next place the Panel by aligning the
Hub Connector Tabs and the connector
blocks. Panel should rest on top of the
storage unit.

• Hardboard (nished) – Wipe with a
damp, soft, clean cloth or a furniture
cleaning product such as Endust®.
• Maple (nished) – Use a furniture
cleaner, such as Endust®, and wipe
with a soft, clean cloth.
• Plywood (nished) – Use a furniture
cleaner, such as Endust®, and wipe
with a soft, clean cloth.
• Chalkboard – Wipe with a damp,
soft, clean cloth.
• Flannel – Wipe with a damp, soft, clean cloth. Use a
lint brush to help remove bers.
• Write-n-Wipe – Use glass cleaner and a soft, clean
cloth. For unintentional permanent marks, use a soft
cloth dampened with isopropyl alcohol.
• Magnetic Write-n-Wipe – Wipe with a light, damp,
clean cloth.
• Mirror – Use a mild dish washing detergent and water
on a soft, clean cloth. Do not use glass cleaner.
• See-Thru – Use a mild dish washing detergent and
