Safety Precautions
1. Power Source
The receiver should be operated onlyfroma 220-240V AC,
50 Hz. outlet. Ensure you select the correct voltage setting
foryourconvenience.
2. Power Cord
The power supplycord should be placed so that theyare not
likelyto be walked on or pinched byitems placed upon them
or against them.Payparticular attention to cord where they
enter the plug, power outlet, and the point where theyexit
from thereceiver.
3. Moisture and Water
Do not use this equipment in ahumid and dampplace (avoid
the bathroom,the sink in the kitchen, and near the washing
machine). Do not expose this equipment to rain or water and
do not place objects filled with liquids on it as this maybe
dangerous.
4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug the receiver fromthe main supply
outlet. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use with soft
anddrycloth.
5. Ventilation
Theslotsandopenings onthe receiver are intendedfor venti-
lation and to ensure reliable operation. To prevent overheating,
these openingsmust notbe blockedorcovered inanyway.
6. Lightning
In caseof stormand lightning or when going on holiday, dis-
connect the power cordfrom thewall outlet.
7. Replacement Part
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service
technician has used replacement parts which are specified
bythe manufacturer or have the samespecifications as the
original one.Unauthorized substitutionsmayresult infire,
electrical shock, or other hazards.
8. Servicing
Please refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Do not re-
movecover asthismayresultin electric shock.
9. Flame sources
Do not place naked flamesources on the apparatus.
10. Stand-By
Donotleave your TV stand-byor operatingconditionwhenyou
leaveyour house.
Warning!
Anyinterventioncontrary to regulations, inparticular,any
modification of high voltage or areplacement of the picture
tube may lead to an increased concentration of x-rays. Any
televisionmodified inthis way nolonger complieswith license
andmust notbeoperated.
Instructions for waste disposal:
