Safety Precautions
1. Power Source
The receiver should be operated onlyfroma 220-240V AC,
50 Hz. outlet. Ensure you select the correct voltage setting
foryourconvenience.
2. Power Cord
The power supplycord should be placed so that theyare not
likelyto be walked on or pinched byitems placed upon them
or against them.Payparticular attention to cord where they
enter the plug, power outlet, and the point where theyexit
from thereceiver.
3. Moisture and Water
Do not use this equipment in ahumid and dampplace (avoid
the bathroom,the sink in the kitchen, and near the washing
machine). Do not expose this equipment to rain or water and
do not place objects filled with liquids on it as this maybe
dangerous.
4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, unplug the receiver fromthe main supply
outlet. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners. Use with soft
anddrycloth.
5. Ventilation
Theslotsandopenings onthe receiver are intendedfor venti-
lation and to ensure reliable operation. To prevent overheating,
these openingsmust notbe blockedorcovered inanyway.
6. Lightning
In caseof stormand lightning or when going on holiday, dis-
connect the power cordfrom thewall outlet.
7. Replacement Part
When replacement parts are required, be sure the service
technician has used replacement parts which are specified
bythe manufacturer or have the samespecifications as the
original one.Unauthorized substitutionsmayresult infire,
electrical shock, or other hazards.
8. Servicing
Please refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Do not re-
movecover asthismayresultin electric shock.
9. Flame sources
Do not place naked flamesources on the apparatus.
10. Stand-By
Donotleave your TV stand-byor operatingconditionwhenyou
leaveyour house.
Warning!
Anyinterventioncontrary to regulations, inparticular,any
modification of high voltage or areplacement of the picture
tube may lead to an increased concentration of x-rays. Any
televisionmodified inthis way nolonger complieswith license
andmust notbeoperated.

Before Switching on your TV
Power connection
Important: The TV set is designed to operate on 220-240V
AC, 50 Hz.
•After unpacking,allow theTV setto reach theambientroom
temperature beforeyouconnectthesettothemains.
Aerial Connections
•Connect the aerial plug to the aerial input socket located at
the back oftheTV.
Howto connect the external equipments
See“Connect the External Equipments” on page25.
•See the instruction manuals provided with the external de-
vicestoo.
Inserting batteries in the remote control handset
• Remove the batterycover located on the back of the hand-
setbygentlypullingupwards from the indicatedpart.
• Insert two AA(R6) or equivalent typebatteries inside.
• Replace the batterycover.
NOTE: Remove batteriesfromremote controlhandset when it is
not to be used for along period. Otherwise it can be damaged
due to anyleakage of batteries.
Switching the TV ON/OFF
You can operate your TV either using the remote control
handset or directlyusing theTV onsetbuttons.
Toswitchthe TV on
Your TV will switch onin two steps:
1- Press the powerbutton located on the front of the TV.Then
the TV switches itself to standbymode and the RED LED
locatedbelow the TVturnson.
2- Toswitch on theTV fromstand-bymodeeither:
Press a digit button onthe remote control so that a program-
menumberis selected,
or,
Press Standby/Power Button or ProgrammeUp and Down
buttons on the front of the TV or on the remote control re-
spectively, sothe TV will switch on and the RED Ledwill turn
GREEN.
Toswitchthe TV off
•Press the stand-bybutton on the remote control, so the TV
will switch to stand-bymode and the GREEN LED will be-
come RED,or,
• Press thepower buttonlocatedonthefrontoftheTV.
Initial Settings
The message "PLEASE CHECK ANTENNACABLE AUTO.
PROGRAMMING SYSTEM"will be displayed when you turn
onyour TV forthefirst time.
1- Select LANGUAGE with the “ “or “ ”button, then
press the“ ” or “ ” buttonto selecta menulanguage.
2- Select COUNTRY with the “ “or “ ”button, then
press the “ ”or “ ”button to select the countryyou are
now located.
3- Select START with the “ “ or “ ” button, then press
the “ ” button to start APS.
APS (AutomaticProgrammingSystem) automaticallypro-
grammesthe receivedchannels inyourTV’sprogramme
numbers. During APS, "A.P.S. ISRUNNING"will be dis-
played.After APS is finalized,the “PROGRAM.”menuap-
pears.
TocancelAPS, press the “ ”button.
Youcandelete achannel,insert achannel intoa programme
number, or re-start APSwith the “PROGRAM.”menu.
For details, see “Program. (Programming) Menu”on page
22.
4- Press the "STANDARD"button to complete the initial set-
tings.
After the initial settings are complete, you can change a pro-
gramme number or to name a programme number or to pro-
grammenew channelmanually.For details, see “Install.
Menu” on page 21.
Ifthemessage"PLEASECHECK ANTENNACABLE AUTO.
PROGRAMMING SYSTEM"does not appear,follow the de-
scription “Program. (Programming) Menu”on page 22 to
select amenu language and the countrywhere you are now
located, and to use A.P.S..

Operating withthe onset buttons
Volume setting andprogrammeselectioncan be made using
thebuttonson thefront panel.
Volume Setting:
•Press “-VOL.”buttonto decrease volumeor “VOL.+” button
toincreasevolume,soavolume levelscalewill bedis-
playedonthescreen.
Programme Selecting:
•Press “PROG.+”buttontoselect next programmeor
“-PROG.”button toselect the previousprogramme.
Entering Main Menu:
•Press “MENU”buttonto enter mainmenu. In the main
menu select submenu using “PROG.+”or “-PROG.”button
andenter the submenu using “VOL.+” or “-VOL.”button. To
learn the usage of the menus, refer to “Menu System”on
page 19.
Operating withRemote Control
The remotecontrol handset of your TVis designed to control
all the functions of the model you selected. The functions will
be described in accordance with the menu systemof your
TV.
Functions which you can useout of menu systemare de-
scribed below.
Volume Setting:
Press “ ” buttontoincrease volume.
Press “ ” button to decrease volume.
Programme Selecting (Previousor next
programme):
• Press “ ” button to select the previous programme.
•Press “ “buttonto select thenext programme.
Programme Selecting (direct access):
Press digit buttons on the remote control handset to select
programmes between 0 and 9. TV will switch to the selected
program after a shortdelay.
When you press first digit, second digit will be displayed with
‘-’ symbol for 3seconds. Toselect programmes between 10
and 99 press corresponding digit buttons consecutivelybe-
fore ‘-’ symbol on the second digit disappears. (e.g. for pro-
gramme27, first press 2and then 7while programnumber
displayedas ‘2-’)
MenuSystem
Your TV hasbeen designed withamenusystem. Display
“MENU” (mainmenu) and enteroneoffive menus (SOUND,
PICTURE, FEATURE, INSTALL. and PROGRAM.).
1- Press “MENU” button to display “MENU” (main menu).
Themenu titleswill bedisplayedinthemainmenu.
2- Press “ “or “ ”button to select amenu title, then
press “ ” or “ ” button to enterthemenu.
•Toexit amenu, press “STANDARD” button.
•Togo to thepreviousmenu,press “MENU” button.
Sound Menu
To change sound settings:
•Press “MENU”button, now you are in main menu. In the
main menu, select SOUND using “ “or “ ”button,
then enter the sound menu pressing “ ” or“ ”button.
or,
•Enter the SoundMenudirectly,pressing the RED button.
SettingVolume:
As you enter the sound menu, Volume will be the firstselect-
edoption.
• Press “ ” button to increasevolume.
• Press “ ” button to decrease volume.
Setting Balance:
•Using “ “or “ ”button selectBalance.
• Press “ ” button tochange balance rightward.
• Press “ ” buttonto changebalanceleftward.

Setting Treble Level:

SelectingMode:
You can choose MONO, STEREO or DUAL I-II mode, onlyif
theselectedchannelsupports thatmode.
•Using“ “ or“ ” buttonselectMode.
•Press “ ” or“ ” button tochangeMode.
•If the TV channel you are watching broadcasts in two lan-
guages (e.g. Eurosport), you can select the dubbed or the
original language.
•Whenthe stereobroadcastisreceivedpoorly,you can
changefromstereotomonosoundso thatyou canhear the
broadcast more clearly and easily.
Setting Effect:
You can use this feature to switch on and offsound effect.
Pressing “ ”or “ ”button will turn on and off this feature. If
the current sound systemis mono and the sound effect is
set ON,then the sound will be heard as if it is stereo.If the
current sound systemis stereo,switching this effect on will
make thesound deeper.Switching it off will make no change
in mono and stereo.
Picture Menu
Tochange picture settings:
•Press “MENU”button, now you are in main menu. In the
main menu, select PICTURE using “ “or “ ”button,
then enter the picturemenu pressing “ ” or “ ” button.
or,
•Enter the Picture Menu directly,pressing the GREEN but-
ton.
SettingBrightness:
•As you enter the picture menu, BRIGHTNESS will be the
first selected option.
• Press “ ” button toincrease BRIGHTNESS.
• Press “ ” button to decrease BRIGHTNESS.
Setting Contrast:
• Using “ “ or“ ”buttonselect CONTRAST..
•Press “ ”button to increase CONTRASTlevel.
•Press “ ”button to decrease CONTRAST level.
Setting Colour:
• Using “ “ or “ ” button select COLOUR.
• Press “ ” buttonto increase COLOUR level.
•Press “ ”button to decrease COLOUR level.
Setting Sharpness:
•Using “ “ or“ ”buttonselect SHARPNESS.
•Press “ ”buttontoincrease SHARPNESSlevel.
•Press “ ” buttontodecreaseSHARPNESSlevel.

Setting Hue (In AVmode only):
•Using“ “or “ ”button selectHUE.
•Press“ ”button toincreaseHUE level.
• Press “ ” button to decreaseHUElevel.
HUE adjust is functional onlywhen NTSC 3.58/4.43 is ap-
plied in AVmode. It does not appear when other colour sys-
tems used.
Mode:
This option is used to change the picture sizeaccording to
the coming transmission.
•If AUTO function is selected, then the picture sizewill be
automaticallychangedaccordingtothetransmission.
• Selecting 4 :3 mode forces picture ratio size to 4 :3.
• Selecting 16: 9 mode forces picture ratio size to 16: 9.
Everyprogramhas its own picture mode setting. When you
store the picture mode for aprogramother programskeep
theirpicture mode setting unaffected.
Feature Menu
•Press “MENU”button, now you are in main menu. In the
mainmenu, select FEATURE,using“ “or “ ” button.
Then enterthe feature menu pressing “ ”or“ ”button.
or,
•Enterthe FeatureMenudirectly,pressingthe YELLOW
button.
SleepTimer:
•As you enter the feature menu, SLEEPTIMER will be the
first selected option.
• Use “ ” or “ ”button to change the value of the sleep timer
between OFF, 0:15:00, 0:30:00, 0:45:00, 1:00:00, 1:15:00,
1:30:00, 1:45:00 and 2:00:00.hours. Your TV will get into
standbymode when the period you selected passes after
you make the selection.
It is displayed on the upper right of the screen. If sleep timer
is activated it is displayed with the TVstatus and erasedwith
itafter 3 seconds.
During the last minute of the count down, the timer is dis-
played on the upper right ofthe screen. When the timer
reaches zero, TVgoes tostand-by.
Child Lock:
In Feature Menu, press“ “or“ ”button to select
CHILD LOCK. Using “ ” or “ ” button turn CHILD LOCK On
orOff.
WhenOffis selected, therewill beno differencein theopera-
tion of your TV.When On is selected, the TV can onlybe
controlled bythe remote control handset. In this case, the
front panel buttons (except the Switch On/Off button) will not
work.
Language:
MenuLanguagecanbeselectedby pressing“ ” or“ ” button
on LANGUAGE item.
AV-2 Output:
Youcanusethisfeaturetoselecttheinternal orexternal
source thatwillbeoutputat AV-2 (SCART 2) terminal.
TV or AV-1 can be chosen bypressing “ ”or “ ”button on
"AV-2 OUTPUT".
Install.Menu
•Press “MENU”button, now you are in main menu. In the
main menu, select INSTALL. using “ “or “ ”button,
then enter theInstallationmenu pressing “ ” or “ ” button.
or
• Enter the Installation Menu directly,pressing the BLUE but-
ton.

To programme a channel in a TV’s programme
numbermanually:
1. PROGRAMME will be the first selected itemas you enter
the INSTALL. menu. Pressing “ ”or “ ”button select the
programmenumber where you want to the tuned channel
to be stored. (You mayalso type the programmenumber
using thedigit buttons.)
2. Press “ “ or “ ” button to select BAND. Using“ ” or
“ ” button to select theband in which you wanttosearcha
channel.
3. Press “ “ or “ ”button to select SEARCH. Press “ ”
or “ ” buttontostartsearching. (Press “ ”buttonto search
forward.Press “ ”button to search backwards.)
If the found channel is not the desired one, press “ ”or “ ”
buttontostart searching again.
Tostop searching before achannel is found, press the re-
verse direction button. For example, when the TV is search-
ingforwardwith“ ” button,press “ ” buttontostopsearching.
If you know the channel number which you want to find, you
can findthe channel directly.
Press “ “ or “ ” button toselect CHANNEL,thenpress
“ ” or “ ”button to select the channel number,or enter the
number withthedigit buttons.
4. If you want to namethe new programme, follow the instruc-
tions under "To changethe nameof aprogramme"on
page22.
5. Ifthechannelreceptionispoor,fine-tunethe channel.
Press “ “ or “ ” button to select FINE TUNING,then
press “ ” or“ ”to fine-tunethe channel.
6. After the all settingsarecompleted, store the new
channel’s setting to the programme number which youse-
lected.Press“ “or“ ”button toselect STORE,
thenpress “ ” or“ ” tostore it.
If you want to modify the current programme number’s
setting (for example,changing fine tuning,etc.) :
1. Select the programmenumber you want to modifythe
settings while nomenu appears.
2. Display the INSTALL. menu.
3. Follow “To programme a channel in a TV’s program-
me number manually:”on page22 and change the
settingsof the current programme number.
If you want to name the new programme, follow the in-
structions under "To change the name of a programme"
on page 22.
Note:
Do not use Programme item in the INSTALL. menu toselect
theprogramme number. Ifyouselect theprogrammenumber
with Programmeitem and storethesettings,theselected
programme number’s current settingsare cancelled.
Program. (Programming) Menu
PROGRAM. (Programming) menuis usedtodisplaythe
programmenames and numbers. You can use this menu to
deleteachannel, to insert achannel and to autostorethe
programmes.
Select the PROGRAM. menu pressing “ “or “ ”but-
tonandopenitpressing“ ” or“ ” button. Whenyou enterthe
programmemenu, all the programmenumbers and names
will bedisplayed onthescreen. The programmenumber and
nameof the tuned channel will be shown bythe cyan color.
All the other channel numbers will be white. You can move
the number incyan using “ “or “ ” or“ ”or “ ”button.
Also, it's possible to use digit buttons to select programme
numbers. As you pass through the programmenumbers this
way,toreach theprogrammenumber youwant, thechannels
corresponding to the programme numbers you pass through
will be tunedand the selected programmenumberwill be
shownin cyan.
To change the name of aprogramme:
•Move to the channel you want to renameor use the digits
sothattheselectedprogramme number is incyancolor.
•Press the RED button. Use “ ”or “ ”button to select the
positionandpress “ “or “ ”buttonto select aletter..
Now, press the RED button againto store or BLUE button to
cancel NAME.
To delete achannel from aprogramme number:
• Move to the channel you want to delete or use the digits so
thattheselectedprogramme number isincyancolor.
•Press the YELLOW button.Nowthecorrespondingchannel
will be deleted and all the other channels below this pro-
grammenumberwill be moved one programme numberup.
Now,press the YELLOW buttonagainto deleteor BLUE but-
tonto cancel DELETE.
To insert achannel into aprogramme number:
•Move to the channel to be inserted or use the digits so that
theselected programme number isin cyancolor.
• Press the GREEN button.Nowusing “ “ or “ ” or “ ”
or“ ”buttons,move to the programme number..
Now,press the GREEN button again to insert or BLUE button
tocancel INSERT.
A.P.S.
If you enter the A.P.S. menu,youcanautomaticallyprogram-
methe receivedchannelsinyourTV’sprogrammes with
A.P.S. ( Automatic programme system ).
1. After displaying the PROGRAM. menu, press the BLUE
buttonto enter the A.P.S. menu.
2. Select LANGUAGE with the “ “or “ ”button, then
press the“ ” or “ ” buttontoselecta menulanguage.

3. Select COUNTRY with the “ “or “ ”button, then
press the “ ”or “ ”button to select the countryyou are
now located.
4. If you want to start programming, select START with the
““or“ ”button, then press the “ ”button. The
message “A.P.S. IS RUNNING”appears and A.P.S. auto-
maticallyprogrammes the received channels in your TV’s
programmenumbers. Afrer A.P.S. is finalized, the PRO-
GRAM. menu appears again.
Tocancel A.P.S., press the “ ” button.
OtherFeatures
Sound Mute
Tocut offthe sound of the TV,press “ ”button. The sound
will be cut off. Tocancel mute, press “ ”or “ ”or “ ”but-
ton. The volumelevel will be the sameas the level before
mutewhen youcancelmute.
Information on Screen
Firstpressingthe“ ”button displaysthe current status
“Programmenumber”,“Stationname”and“Soundsta-
tus”.
Pressing this button again displays the current time.
Pressing this button once more remove the on-screen dis-
play.
To Display the Time
• While watchinga TV programme withTeletext transmission
press “ “button twice. The current timeinformation, cap-
turedfrom Teletextwillbedisplayedonthescreen.
•Iftheprogrammebeingwatcheddoesnothave Teletext
transmission, onlya box will be displayed at the same loca-
tion.
• The time information will disappear after pressing “ “ but-
ton again.
When timeinformation is displayed on screen, entering an-
othermenu will remove it.
Standard
You can re-set the current PICTURE menu settings (except
PictureModesetting) to the default settings.
•Press “STANDARD”button when no menu appears.
VCR ControlButtons
The buttonscan beused to operateaJVCbrandVCR.
Pressingthe button havingthesame appearance asthe origi-
nalremotecontrol buttonofa devicemakes the function work
inthe sameway as theoriginalremotecontrol.
Press theVCRControl Button tocontrol your VCR.
Note:
• If your device is not made byJVC, these buttons cannot be
used.
• Even if your device is madebyJVC, some of these buttons
or anyone of the buttons maynot work, depending on the
device.
•You can use the / buttons to choose aTV channel

Teletext
Teletext is an information systemthat displaystext on your
TV screen. Using theTeletext information systemyoucan
viewapageofinformationonasubject thatis availableinthe
list of contents (index).
Noonscreendisplaywillbeavailableintextmode.
No contrast, brightness or colour control, but volumecontrol
is availableintextmode.
To operate Teletext
• Select a TV station on which Teletext is being transmitted.
• Press (TELETEXT) “ ” button. Usuallythe list of contents
(index) is displayed on thescreen.
Toselect a page ofTeletext
•Press the appropriate digit buttons for the required Teletext
pagenumber.
The selected page number is displayed at the top left corner
of the screen. The Teletext page counter searches until the
selected page number is located, so that the desired page is
displayedonthescreen.
•Press “ “button to move the Teletext screen forward
onepageatatime.
• Press “ ” button to move the Teletext screen backward
onepageatatime.

To Select Index Page
•Toselectthepagenumberoftheindex (generallypage
100), press “ “ button.
Searching for a teletext pagewhile watching TV
•In the Teletext mode pressing “ “button will switch the
screen to the TV mode. In the TV mode enter a page num-
ber using digit keys. As you enter last digit of page number,
“”sign will replace the page number and flash until the
entered page number is found. Then the page number will
replace “ ”sign again. Now you can displaythis teletext
page pressing “ “ button.
To Select Double Height Text
• Press “ “ button for the top half of the information page to
bedisplayedin double heighttext.
•Press “ “button again for the bottomhalf of the informa-
tion page to bedisplayed in double height text.
•Press “ “button once more for the full page of normal
height text.
To Reveal “concealed” Information
•Pressing “ “button once will reveal answers on aquizor
gamespage.
•Pressing “ “button again will conceal the revealed an-
swers.
ToStop Automatic Page Change
The teletext page youhave selected may contain more infor-
mation than whatis onthe screen;the rest ofthe information
willbedisplayedafter aperiodoftime.
• Press “ “ button to stop the automatic page change.
•Press “ “button again to allow the next page to be dis-
played.
ToSelect a Subcode Page
Subcode pages are subsections of long Teletext pages that
canonly bedisplayed on the screen one sectionat a time.
•Select therequired Teletext page.
• Press “ “ button.
• Select the required subcode page number bypressing four
digitbuttons (e.g.0001).
•If the selected subcodepageisnotdisplayed in ashort
time, press “ “ button.TVprogramme will be displayed on
thescreen.
•Teletextpage number willbe displayedonthe upperleft cor-
ner of the screen whenthe selectedpage isfound.
• Press “ “ button to display the selected Teletext page.
Toexit Teletext
•Press “ ”button.The screen will switch toTVmode.
Fastext and Toptext
Teletext mode will be selected according to transmission au-
tomatically.
Your TVsupportsthe 7page Teletextsystem. When the
pagenumberof anyof the 7pages inmemory is entered,the
systemwill not search for the requested page; instead it will
displaythe page automatically.
•Press “ “button to move the Teletext screen forward
onepageatatime.
• Press “ ” button to move the Teletext screen backward
onepageatatime.
ForFastext andToptext:
Thesubject-headingfortheinformationmay have aparticular
colourorcan bein aform located ina colouredbox.
•Press an appropriate RED, GREEN, YELLOW or BLUE but-
tonin ordertoreach therelevant page quickly.
ForToptext:
If Toptext transmission is present, colour coded buttons will
appear in statusrow.
If Toptext transmission is not present, status row will not ap-
pear.
In Toptext mode the “ “or “ ”commands will request
thenext orpreviouspagerespectively. If Toptexttransmission
isnotavailable, in caseof operationof these commands,

Via the Euroconnector
Your TV set has two Euroconnector sockets. If you want to
connectequipments(e.g. video recorder,decoder,etc.) which
haveEuroconnectors, toyourTV,use the AV-1(SCART1) or
AV-2 (SCART 2) terminals.
If an external device is connected via Euroconnector sockets
TV is switched to AV modeautomatically.
RGB mode
Ifanequipment can output the RGB signals, connect it to the
AV-1 (SCART1) terminal.
AV-2 S Mode
If the equipment connected to your TV set supports S-Video
(Y/C) output from Euroconnector,you can have abetter pic-
ture qualitybyselecting AV-2 S mode and connecting your
equipmentto the AV-2 S(SCART 2) terminal of TV. See your
equipment's booklettocheck ifyour equipmenthas such fea-
ture.
Via the RCAjacks
If you have an equipment (such as aCamcorder) which has
the RCAjacks, connect it to the F-AV (Front AV) terminal
with the video and audio cables.
•If the epuipment has the mono audio jack, connect it to the
AUDIO-L jack.
Viathe ANT (aerial) socket
If your equipment does not have an Euroconnector or RCA
jacks, connect it to the TV with an aerial cable. For details,
see the manual provided with the equipment.
•To store the test signalthat comes fromthe equipment, see
"Install. Menu"on page 21 and store it to the programme
number 0. You can watch images fromthat equipment to
select theprogramme number whichyoustoredthe test
signal.
TV and Video Recoder (VCR)
•ConnecttheVideoRecorder to the ANT (antenna input)
socket oftheTV with theaerialcable.
•Connect the Video Recorder to the AV-1 or AV-2 terminal
with the SCARTcable, or connect it to the F-AV (Front AV)
terminal with the audioandvideo cables.
NTSC Playback
Connect aNTSC video recorder to aterminal. Then press
“AV“buttontoselectthecorrespondingAVmode.
NTSC 3.58/4.43 system isdetectedautomatically in AV
mode.
CopyFacility
You canoutputthevideo and audiosignals which inputs from
TV or AV-1 (SCART 1) terminal tothe video recorderconnect-
edto the AV-2 (SCART2) terminal.

ConnectingHeadphones
UsethestereoheadphonesocketofyourTV,toconnect
headphones.
Tips
Care of the Screen
Clean the screen with aslightlydamp, soft cloth. Do not use
abrasive solvents as theymaydamage theTV screencoating
layer.
Poor Picture
Have you selected the correct TV system?Is your TV set or
house aeriallocated too close to the loudspeakers, non-
earthed audio equipmentor neonlights,etc. ?
Mountainsor highbuildingscancausedouble picturesor
ghostimages.Sometimes you can improve the picture quali-
tybychangingthe direction of theaerial.
The picture qualitymaydegrade when two peripherals are
connected to the TV at the sametime. In such acase, dis-
connect oneof the peripherals.
No Picture
Is theaerial connected properly?Arethe plugs connected
tightlyto the aerial socket? Is the aerial cable damaged? Are
suitableplugs used toconnect the aerial? If you are in doubt,
consultyourdealer.
No Picture means that your TV is not receiving anytrans-
mission. Have you pressed the correct keyson the remote
control? Tryonce more.
Sound
Sound is coming fromonlyone of the speakers. Is the bal-
ance set toonedirectionextreme?SeeSOUND menu.
Remote Control
Your TV no longer responds to the remote control. Press the
“STANDARD”button on the remote control once more. Per-
haps the batteries are exhausted. If so you can still use the
local buttons at thefrontof your TV.
Have you selected thewrong menu? Press “STANDARD”but-
ton to return to TV mode or press “MENU” buttonto returnto
thepreviousmenu.
No solution
Switch your TV set off and on. If this does not work, call the
service personnel; never attempt to repair it yourself.
