Find Screen Bracket Screws
Find the screws from this hardware kit that best fit your TV. Note that there are screws
with four different diameters:M4, M5, M6, and M8.
Determine which of these thread diameters should be used by gently threading one
ew into a rear mounting hole, until you find the appropriate size.
Only thread these screws by hand, and DO NOT force a screw into the mounting hole.
After finding the correct diameter, determine the screw length. If your TV has a
flat back, the shorter length should be used.If your TV has a curved back, or if the
mounting holes are recessed in a slot or channel, use the longer length of the
appropriate diameter screw.
Use only the set of four screws that fits your TV. The rest are not needed to attach the
Screen Mounting Brackets.
Find Other Hardware
Next select the washers that match your screw
diameter; for example, if the M8 screws match your TV,
select the M8 lock washers;if the M4 scr ews match,
select the M4 washers and the M4 lock washers. If you
are using long M6 or M8 screws, you will also need the
spacers.
You only need this hardware to attach the Screen
Mounting Brackets. The rest of the hardware is not
needed.
Your hardware should be installed as shown at right.
Don’t include the Spacer or bottom Screen Bracket
W asher if you are using a short screw.
Attach the Screen Mounting Brackets to the TV as
shown in the Installation Manual.

Installation
Installing your Flat Panel Wall Mount bracket involves the following steps:
1. Determine theWall Mounting Location
2. Attach the Mounting Plate to the Wall
3. Attach the Mounting Brackets to the TV
4. Hang the TV on the Mounting Plate
5. Adjust the ScreenAngle (K2-T-SERIES and K3-T-SERIES)
6. Position the Cables
Determine the Wall Mounting Location
Decide where you want to hang your TV. A good location is near an electrical outlet, and
within cable reach of any components you plan to connect to theTV.
Use common sense when determining the wall mounting
location. For example, do not hang your TV over a bed, crib, or child’s play
area.
Draw a mark on the wall where you want the center of the mountedTV to be located. This is
the MountedTV Center Point.

Attach the Mounting Plate to a Wood Stud Wall
If you are mounting to a concrete or concrete block wall, skip this section and go to “Attach the
Mounting Plate to a Concrete or Concrete Block Wall” on page 9.
(A) Locate the Wall Studs
Wall studs usually run vertically (up and down) inside the wall, behind the dry wall or plaster.
You must attach the Mounting Plate(s) to two separate wall studs.
You must attach the TV wall mount to a wall that has at least
2” x 4” wood studs.Attaching the wall mount to smaller studs or metal
studs could result in property damage or personal injury.
Using the stud finder, make a mark at the left and right edges of the two closest studs on
each side of the MountedTV Center Point. Repeat this process to mark the same studs twice
more, approximately 6” above and 6” below
your first stud location marks.
Mark the centerline of each stud by holding
the level vertically, and drawing a line halfway
between the left and right edges of each stud.
These stud centerlines should be vertical, and
roughly parallel. If they are not, the studs may
not run continuously from floor to ceiling
andyou must not use them to hang theTV.
Locate different studs that run continuously
from floor to ceiling
The K2-F-SERIES and K2-T-SERIES require the wall studs to be 16 inches apart
These brackets cannot be used if the wall studs are spaced farther apart.

(B) Determine Mounting Hole Locations
Using the level and measuring tape, make a mark
3-1/8” directly above and 3-1/8” directly below the
MountedTV Center Point. These marks are the
Upper and Lower Center Points.
Using the level,draw a horizontal (side-to-side) line
through the Upper Center Point that connects all
stud centerlines. Draw a similar line through the
Lower Center Point.
The intersection of the horizontal lines with the stud
centerlines are the Mounting Hole Locations. Using
the drill and 1/8” drill bit, drill pilot holes 2-1/2” deep
into the stud at each intersection point.
(C) Anchor Mounting Plate to the Wall
Hold the Mounting Plate against the wall, roughly aligning the center of the Mounting Plate
with the MountedTV Center Point. Now move the Mounting Plate so that the pilot holes are
visible through the slots.
Using the ratchet and 7/16” socket, anchor
each Mounting Plate into the wall with four
1/4" x 2/1/2" Lag Bolts and four Mounting
Plate Washers.
W arning:
On each Mounting Plate, you must fasten all four Lag Bolts
securely into wall studs for proper installation. Failure to do so could result
in property damage or personal injury..
To continue installation, go to“Attach the Screen Mounting Brackets to the TV ” on page 11.

concrete block wall. Attaching the wall mount to a brick wall could result
in property damage or personal injury.
(A) Determine Mounting Hole Locations
Using the level and measuring tape, make a mark 3-1/8” dir ectly above and 3-1/8” directly
below the Mounted TV Center Point. These marks are the Upper and Lower Center Points.
K2-F-SERIES, K2-T-SERIES, K3-F-SERIES, K3-T-SERIES
Hold the Mounting Plate against the wall, aligning the center of the Mounting Plate with the
Mounted TV Center Point. Now move the Mounting Plate so that the Upper and Lower
Center Points are visible through two slots in the Mounting Plate.Using the Mounting Plate
as a template, mark the wall within the four corner slots. These four marks are the Mounting
Hole Locations.
Using the level, make sure each set of three marks on the wall is on a straight and level
horizontal line.

(B) Drill Holes and Install Anchors
Using the drill and 1/2” masonry drill bit, drill pilot holes 2-1/2” deep at all Mounting Hole
Locations.
Insert a Concrete Anchor into each of the holes, using the hammer to tap the anchors in
place if necessary. Make sure that the anchor is completely flush with the concrete surface
even if there is a layer of drywall or other material in front of the concrete.
