Diese Kurzanleitung ist ein Überblick für die Bedienung des Programmiergerätes Kaba pro-
grammer 1460. Die ausführliche Bedienungsanleitung befindet sich auf der mitgelieferten CD
in dem Ordner/Documentation.
2 Produktbeschreibung
Mit dem Programmer können Kaba standalone Aktuatoren konfiguriert und programmiert
werden.

Es gibt zwei Möglichkeiten den Akku zu laden. Der Akku kann über die USB Schnittstelle mit
dem USB-Kabel am PC oder mit dem Netzadapter geladen werden.

4 Datenübertragung zwischen Software und Programmer
4.1 Installation der Treiber
In diesem Kapitel ist beschrieben, wie die Treiber zu installieren sind und wie der Programmer
an den PC anzuschliessen ist.
Für eine Installation sind folgende Voraussetzungen not-
wendig:
• PC mit Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 oder Microsoft Server 2008
• Treiber CD
• Kaba programmer mit USB-Kabel 2.0
4.2 Datenübertragung Software
Nach der Installation der Treiber kann der Programmer mit der gewünschten Software (z. Bsp.
KEM, Kaba exos usw.) verwendet werden. Eine detaillierte Beschreibung für die Software KEM
Installation entnehmen Sie bitte der Software Bedienungsanleitung k1evo806de.
Treiber installieren
1. Software CD in das CD-Laufwerk einlegen.
2. Ordner/Driver/Programmer1460 öffnen.
3.Datei Install wählen und starten.
4. Den Anweisungen der Installation auf dem PC Bildschirm folgen.
5.Den Programmer mit dem USB-Kabel an den PC anschliessen.
6. Der Programmer installiert sich selbstständig.

3Charging the battery
There are two ways to charge the battery. It can be charged via the USB interface with the USB
cable to the PC, or alternatively using the mains adapter.

4 Data transfer between software and programmer
4.1 Installing the drivers
This section describes how to install the drivers and connect the programmer to the PC.
Prerequisites for installation are:
• PC with Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 or Microsoft Server 2008
• Drivers CD
• Kaba programmer with USB cable 2.0
4.2 Data transfer software
Once the drivers have been installed, the programmer can be used with the desired software
(KEM, Kaba exos, etc.) For a detailed description of installing the software KEM please see the
software operating instructions k1evo806en.
Installing drivers
1. Insert the software CD in the CD drive.
2. Open the Driver/Programmer1460 folder.
3.Select and launch the file Install.
4. Follow the installation instructions displayed on the PC monitor.
5.Connect the programmer to the PC using the USB cable.
6. The programmer will install itself automatically.

4 Transmission de données entre le logiciel et le Programmer
4.1 Installation des pilotes
Le présent chapitre décrit l'installation des pilotes et le raccordement du Programmer au PC.
Les conditions suivantes sont requises pour une installation:
• PC avec Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 ou Microsoft Server 2008
•CDpilote
• Kaba programmer avec câble USB 2.0
4.2 Transmission de données logiciel
Après l'installation des pilotes, le Programmer peut être utilisé avec les logiciels souhaités (p.
ex. KEM, Kaba exos etc.). Une description détaillée de l'installation du logiciel KEM figure dans
le manuel d'utilisation du logiciel k1evo806fr.
Installer les pilotes
1. Insérer le CD logiciel dans le lecteur de CD.
2. Ouvrir Dossier/Pilote/Programmer1460.
3.Sélectionner le fichier Install et démarrer.
4. Suivre les indications d'installation sur l'écran du PC.
5.Raccorder le Programmer au PC avec le câble USB.
6. Le Programmer s'installe automatiquement.

Per caricare la batteria, sono disponibili due modalità: è possibile, infatti, caricare la batteria
mediante l'interfaccia USB, collegando il cavo USB al PC, oppure mediante l'adattatore di rete.

Caricamento della batteria tramite PC
1. Collegare il Programmer al PC utilizzando il cavo USB.
2. Una volta effettuato il collegamento al PC, la batteria del Programmer si carica
autonomamente.

1. Collegare il Programmer all'adattatore di rete utilizzando il cavo USB.
2. Una volta inserito l'adattatore di rete nella presa elettrica, la batteria del
Programmer inizierà a caricare.

4 Trasferimento dati tra software e Programmer
4.1 Installazione dei driver
Nel presente capitolo vengono descritte le modalità di installazione dei driver e di
collegamento del Programmer al PC.
Per effettuare l'installazione, è necessario disporre dei
seguenti requisiti:
• PC con Microsoft Windows XP, Vista, 7 o Microsoft Server 2008
• Driver su CD
• Kaba Programmer con cavo USB 2.0
4.2 Trasferimento dati software
Una volta effettuata l'installazione dei driver, è possibile utilizzare il Programmer con il
software desiderato (ad esempio, KEM, Kaba exos e così via). Per una descrizione dettagliata
della procedura di installazione del software KEM, consultare il manuale sul software
k1evo806it.
Procedura di installazione
1. Inserire il CD del software nell'unità CD.
2. Seguire il percorso Ordner/Driver/Programmer1460.
3.Selezionare il file di installazione e avviare il processo.
4. Seguire le istruzioni per l'installazione visualizzate sullo schermo del PC.
5.Collegare il Programmer al PC utilizzando il cavo USB.
6. Il Programmer si installerà autonomamente.
