19791 Tablet PC holder

Thank you for choosing this product. The instructions provide directions to all
of the important setup and handling steps. We recommend you keep these
instructions for future reference.
When mounting the Tablet PC ensure that it is property
placed and secured according to the instructions. K&M
is not liable in the case of improper use and associated
consequences i.e. damages!
- The following applies to the Micro or Music
-Desk Stands
--prior to placing the tablet ensure that the
--stands are stable
--do the tube diameters fit?: min.11- max. 30 mm
--be sure that the surface is suitable and level
- Place the Tablet PC carefully in position and
-tighten the screws, then check that the Tablet PC
-is securely in place
- Handle the holder with care, in particular when
-adjusting the settings (angle, direction, format)
FIRST TIME PLACEMENT of the Tablet (2-9)
ATTACH Tablet to the STAND (1-2)
* Scale settings are only examples (Selection of various Tablets see
*Supplementary Sheet)

1The Tablet holder consists of two
1component groups
1a. Support arm with a clamp,
1b. Tablet holder with a joint-connection
1c. Both components are connected with the finger
1c. screw (3/8" x 33 mm) and a rubber disc that is
1c. placed between the components.
2The clamp is place around the tube and affixed
2with a knurled screw 2.a.
FIRST TIME PLACEMENT of the Tablet (3-10)
3First open the three knurled pins until there
3is enough depth to place the tablet
4a. Release the upper support arm,
4b. extend it out as far as it goes and
4c. tighten the clamping screw
5a. Release the side support arms and...
5b. ...with the help of the scale symmetrically
5b. extend to a rough position,
5c. tighten both clamping screws
6Place the table into the corner supports to
6ensure that it fits
6a. Tablet is too narrow: Retract the support
6a. arms a bit (symmetrically) until it fits.
6b. Tablet is too wide: Extend the support arms
6b. (symmetrically) until it fits.
6c. Tablet fits, if the corner supports do not show any
6c. space between the tablet and the holder when
6c. looking at it from the side.
7a. Place the tablet in both corner supports...
7b. ...and hold the tablet
8Retract the upper support arm
8a. Release the clamp screw and retract the
8support arm...
8b. ...until the tablet is securely held in place.
8c. Tighten the clamping screw
9Gently clamp the tablet into the corner
9supports by tightening the three knurled pins
10 Your Tablet should be securely positioned now.
10 Please ensure that this is the case.
10 a. Does the Tablet sit securely in the holder without any play?
10 b. Are the three knurled handles properly tightened?
10 c. Are the three plastic finger screws properly tightened?
If this is not the case, please refer to points 3-9.

SETUP
FAULT-FINDING (F) and REPAIR (R)
F: Holder is unstable
F: R: Check the screws and tighten, if needed.
F: Tablet is not securely in place
F: R: Correct the position of the side support arms, so that the corner
F: R: supports are properly set on the Tablet without any play 3-10
F: R: Ensure that the lower support arms setting are symmetrical 5,6.
F: R: Asymmetric setting of the support arms looks bad and does not
F: R: ensure that the Tablet is securely held in place.
F: B: Do not only place the Tablet on the upper support arm, but be sure
F: R: it clicks into place 8,9.
F: B: Observe the minimum i.e maximum dimensions 22.
USAGE NOTES and FUNCTIONS
The angle, direction and format of the
tablet can be adjusted. The (securely
positioned) Tablet does not have to be
removed from the holder.
ANGLE (17-19)
The Tablet can be adjusted to
any final position by adjusting it
vertically and horizontally. To do this:
17 Hold the Tablet and loosen the wing nut somewhat
18 Pick the position (vertical / horizontal) and...
19 ...re-tighten the wing nut.
DIRECTION (20)
20 Loosen the finger screws a bit, Re-
20 position the Tablet Holder and tighten
20 the finger screws...
2a ...or position the entire support arm on
2a the stand tube in the desired direction
FORMAT (21)
The holder has a 90°-Twist Function.
This allows the Tablet to be presented in
landscape or portrait.
21 Take the holder and turn it to
19 the landscape, portrait or tilted

19 NOTE- Hitches within the mount limit

The minimum and maximum size cannot be achieved due
to the Tablet’s unfavorable length/width ratios.

11 Loosen the three knurled pins a bit

If you always use the same tablet, we
recommend, recommend that the support
arm settings remain in this position.
Or remember or mark at least the
scale values.
REPEATED PLACEMENT of the
Tablet (14-16)
For previously set support arms
14 Place the tablet in the lower corner supports
15 Place the tablet into the upper catch
15 and gently press until you can hear it
15 click into place
16 Tighten the knurled pins until the tablet is
14 gently pressed into place
Then check that the Tablet is secure as
described in 10.

The Tablet PC Holder is suitable for
Tablet PC of various sizes.
The "storage capacity" is

B. The SCALE SETTINGS on the Support Arms
The three support arms provide for the secure hold of the
Tablet PC. The step by step instructions to accomplish this
are provided in the Usage Instructions in Section FIRST
TIME PLACEMENT.
The SCALE SETTINGS fulfill two important functions:
a. they help when making the required SYMMETRICAL
a. settings of both lower support arms
b. they allow one to QUICKLY SETUP the support arms
b. for a specific tablet according to the initial settings
b. - see a selection of various tablets (4/2016 version) below

NOTE!
The Scale Setting numbers
provided here make it easier
to identify the proper settings for
the support arms.
Regardless of this fact, when
placing the tablet in the holder for
the first time or thereafter, ensure
that the tablet is securely placed
into the holder and that there is
no space between the tablet and
the holder. If this is not the case
adjust the support arms
accordingly - as described in the
FIRST TIME PLACEMENT
section.

Universal Tablet Holder for different models. The Universal Tablet Holder can be adjusted variably to accommodate different tablet
sizes without needing tools and holds the devices securely and effectively for many different situations. Be it on stage, in
rehearsal rooms or at home - thanks to the strong clamp element with the ergonomic clamp screw the holder can be attached to any
tube up to 1.181" quickly and easily. The individually adjustable support arms can accommodate the use of tablets ranging in
height from 8.75 to 13.15" and width from 5.039 to 9.134" (for example iPad, iPad Air, iPad Pro, Amazon Fire HDX 8.9, Samsung
Galaxy Tab from 9.7, Google Nexus 9, Asus Transformer or Microsoft Surface as well as Surface Pro). The depth of the tablets can
vary between 0.236 and 0.433". For the first use of the tablet holder the support arms settings are made by adjusting the clamp
screws to the size and depth of the tablet. For other uses the tablet can be attached and detached quickly and simply through a
snap lock. A handy wing nut allows one to adjust the angle, so that each user will easily be able to find their ideal individual
position. The tablet can switch between portrait and landscape positions. The tablet is kept in place, there is no danger of the
tablet switching position by itself.
