IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The important precautions described within this section must be followed carefully to prevent the possibiliy of fire,
electrical shock, personal injuries and/or property damage:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not touch HOT surfaces. Use handles or
knobs.
3. To protect against fire, electrical shock, and
personal injury, do not immerse cord, plugs, or
appliance in water or other liquid.
4. Close supervision is necessary when the
appliance is used by or near children.
5. Unplug unit from outlet when not in use and
before cleaning. Allow to cool before attaching or
removing parts, and before cleaning the
appliance.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged
cord or plug after the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to an authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
7. To protect against risk of electrical shock, do not
force any foreign objects, such as pins and wires,
into any openings.
8. The use of accessory attachments not
recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or personal injury.
9. Do not use outdoors.
10. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces
11. Do not place the appliance on or near a hot gas or
electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Extreme caution must be used when moving an
appliance containing hot oil or other liquids.
13. Do not clean the appliance with cleansers, steel
wool pads, or other abrasive material.
14. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug
cord into the wall outlet. To disconnect, turn the
switch to its „OFF“ position then remove the plug
from wall outlet.
15. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
This product is designed for household use only.
16. Use only the appropriate Volt AC electrical
current.
17. Always keep the power supply plug clean.
18. Plug the appliance into a single electrical outlet
only.
19. Make sure that the power supply plug is firmly
inserted all the way into the electrical outlet.
20. Do not attempt to plug in or unplug with wet
hands.
21. Do not touch the steam vent.
22. Do not handle the power supply cord in a rough

28. Do not touch the Lid Release button while
carrying the appliance.
29. Do not use any Inner Pot other than provided.
30. Do not place the appliance near walls or furniture
(within 12“/30cm).
31. Do not place the appliance in the locations where
hot cooking oil may splash onto the appliance or
where the appliance is exposed to direct sunlight.
32. Do not place a cloth or towels over the appliance
during operation.
33. Remove all foreign substances before using
appliances.
SPECIAL CORD SET INSTRUCTIONS
A. A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce risks of becoming entagled in or tripping over a longer cord.
B. Extension cords are available and may be uses if care is exercised in their use.
C. If extension cord is used:
(1) The marked electrical rating of the extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance.
(2) The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or table top where it can be
pulled on by children or tripped over.

HOW TO SET THE CLOCK
•The time shown on the appliance’s clock has been preset to standard time.
•Set the clock according to the following procedure if the time becomes incorrect due to room temperature or
other reason.
•The clock cannot be set while the timer is being used for cooking or warming
•The current operation can be canceled by pressing the KEEP WARM/OFF button.
Be sure to set the clock to the correct time because timed cooking will not function properly if the time is incorrect.
EXAMPLE: When the current time is 8:00 am, but the display shows 7:55 am.
1 Plug in the power supply plug.
2 Press the HOUR or MINS button until the time display
begins to flash.
The time display will begin to flash.
3 Press HOUR and MINS to set the correct time.
•Press HOUR, to set „8“. Press MINS, to set „00“.
•Holding down the buttons will allow the display to fast forward.
•The clock display will stop flashing after 6 seconds.
•The time setting completes when the clock display stops
flashing.
The Built-in Lithium Battery
•The appliance’s internal lithium battery provides power to retain the time display and the timer setting, even
when the power supply plug has been disconnected.
•The batter life expectancy is 4-5 years at a room temperature of 20° C. The battery may last longer when the
appliance is plugged into the wall outlet because the battery power is not cosumed.
•When the battery begins reaching the end of its life, the display will appear weaker and the timer setting will
not be maintained while the appliance is unplugged. When the battery weakens, the appliance can still be
used as usual as long as it is plugged in.
•Contact your local dealer or one of the KeMar-recommended service companies (page 12) for battery
replacement. Do not replace the battery yourself.
The battery will be replaced with a new lithium battery for a charge. After replacement, be sure to reset the
clock and timer.
Power Failure While the Unit is in Operation
(Information given in this section includes times during operation when the plug is pulled or a circuit breaker goes
out.)
•If the power fails momentarily, the appliance will return to the same mode it was in prior to the failure.
•In the event of a longer power outage, the following will occur once power is restored:

How To Cook Rice
1 Accurately measure the rice, then wash it.
•Measure the rice using measuring cup provided. 1 cup equals
180 ml.
•The Inner Pot can be used to wash rice.

2 Add the correct amount of water and place
the Inner Pot into main unit.
•Wash rice, and put the rice into the Inner Pot.
•Choose the level of water, based on the selected menu
setting and the quantity of the rice being cooked.
•If the water level is incorrect, excess water may boil over.
•Adjust the water level according to your own preference. The
water level may be adjusted by up to ¼of a graduation level.
If the amount of water is to great, it may boil over.
•Make sure that any rice grains or water droplets remaining on
the outside of the Inner Pot or the inner wall of the main body
are removed. Water remaining in these areas may cause
noise during the cooking process.
•Gently turn the Inner Pot from side to side a few times to level
the rice.
Example: To cook 4 cups of rice.
Example: To cook 2 cups of rice.
3 Plug in power supply cord and select MENU
•You cannot select a menu or cook rice until the power supply
plug is plugged into the outlet.
•You cannot select a menu or cook rice while the KEEP
WARM Lamp is on or flashing. Press KEEP WARM/OFF
button to cancel KEEP WARM mode.
•Pressing the MENU button will move and change the menu
as follows:
•Select White for cooking mixed, rinse-free, Sushi rice.
•Select Brown rice for sprouted brown rice and sweet rice.

4 Press COOKING buttton to cook.
•The COOKING lamp lights and begins cooking. The DISPLAY
PANEL will show the current time.
•Do not press COOKING button without the Inner Pot properly
placed in the main unit.
•Be aware that if the COOKING button is accidentally pressed
without the Inner Pot, the heating element will temporarily
become very hot.
•Make sure the COOKING lamp is on.
•If the COOKING lamp is not on, press the KEEP WARM/OFF
button to cancel cooking. Press the MENU button to reselect
the menu and press the COOKING button again.
•The remaining cooking time until rice is done will be displayed
beginning from 13 minutes.
Example: With 13 minutes remaining time.
5 Stir the rice before serving. Cooked rice can be kept
warm for up to 12 hours.
•Once the cooking is completed, the COOKING lamp goes off.
Then the KEEP WARM lamp will light and the unit will
automatically switch operation to keep the rice warm.
•The DISPLAY PANEL will show the elapsed warming time.
•Do not keep rice warm for more than 12 hours as rice may
develop an odor, turn yellow, or dry out.
•Do not unplug the power cord in KEEP WARM mode.
•Risotto cannot be kept warm. When Risotto is cooked, the
KEEP WARM lamp will flash. Do not keep Risotto warm, as it
tends to become gluey.
•Do not use KEEP WARM for mixed rice, brown rice, sweet rice
or sprouted brown rice as they may begin to deteriorate or
develop an odor.
•Slight scorching may form on the bottom of the Inner Pot.
•Make sure to press KEEP WARM/OFF button and unplug the
power cord after use.
•If this is not done, the unit will enter the KEEP WARM mode
when it is plugged in next time.
•Do not reheat cold rice as this may cause the rice to develop an
odor.
How to Cook Mixed/Sweet Rice
•Wash rice and soak it in the water before cooking.
•Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
•Excess ingredients may cause the rice to cook improperly.
•Use of seasonings may cause the rice to burn more easily.
•Up to 4 cups of mixed rice or sweet rice can be cooked.
•Fill up to the appropriate WHITE/MIXED or SWEET level with
seasoned water. Then place mixed ingredients on top of rice,.
•Place the Inner Pot into the main unit.
•Select WHITE RICE from the menu, then begin cooking.
•After cooking rice mixed with other ingredients, as slight odor
may remain.
•Wash the Inner Pot and Inner Lid thoroughly after each use.

How to Cook Brown Rice
•Wash brown rice and soak it in the water for an hour.
•Brown rice can be cooked up to 4 cups.
•Fill the Inner Pot with water up to the appropriate BROWN level.
•Place the Inner Pot into the main unit.
•Select BROWN from the menu, then begin cooking.
•For more delicious results with brown rice, soak the rice in water
for an hour or more before cooking.

HOW TO USE TIMER COOKING (Rice cooking completes at a specific time.)
1 Check the current time.
•Set the timer after preparing the rice following steps (1)-(3) in
the How to Cook Rice section.
•Check the current time. If the clock has not been set to the
correct time, timer cooking may not work properly (page 3).
•The timer cannot be set if the KEEP WARM lamp is on or
flashing. Press KEEP WARM/OFF button to turn off the lamp.

2 After selecting a MENU, press the TIMER button.
•The TIMER lamp will begin flashing and the timer setting will
be shown on the DISPLAY PANEL.
•If the existing timer setting is correct, then proceed to the
operation described in section 4. (page 4 for menu selection)
3 Press the HOUR and MINS buttons to set the time of
completion.
•Press HOUR button to change the hour. The hours change in
1-hour increments. Press MINSbutton to change minutes.
The minutes change in 10-minute increments.
•The timer can be fast-forwarded by holding down the HOUR
or MINSbuttons.
4 Press the COOK/START button.
•The TIMER lamp will change from flashing to lighting and the
current time will be shown on the DISPLAY PANEL. This
completes the timer setting.
•The TIMER lamp will go off when cooking starts and the
COOKING lamp will light.
Once the timer has been set, timer cooking can be
performed in two steps.
•Press TIMER button after reviewing the menu selection.
Press COOKING button after reviewing the time setting.
•Previous timer settings are stored in memory.
After Timer Cooking Starts
If youwant to change the timer setting:
Press the KEEP WARM/OFF button, and then
reset the timer following steps (2)-(4) described
before.
If you want to check the current time:
The current time will be desplayed while holding
HOUR and MINSbuttons.
Timer Cooking
•Timer cooking should be set to begin within 12 hours. The
rice may begin to deteriorate if the rice is left in the water
for an extended time.
•Do not use timer cooking to prepare mixed rice, or sweet
rice that contains other ingredients. These ingredients or
seasonings may deteriorate or settle to the bottom and fail
to cook properly.
•Rice may turn out soft when cooked using the timer

Steaming Food
Select the STEAM menu to steam food. The cooking times in Chart below are approximate and should be used
as a guideline.
1 Add approximately 1 and ½Measuring Cups (300 ml)
of water in the Inner Pot.
•Use the provided Measuring Cup.
•Always add a minimum of one Measuring Cup (180 ml) of
water.
2 Place the Inner Pot into the main unit. Place the
Steamer Plate and food in the Inner Pot
•Place the Inner Pot into the main unit.
•Place the Steamer Plate in the Inner Pot.
•Place the food on the Steamer Plate.
3 Close the Outer
Lid and plug in the
power supply cord.
4 Press MENU
button to select
Steam course.
5 Press COOKING button.
•The COOKING lamp lights and begins steaming.
•Monitor the steaming time manualy.
•When water is completely evaporated, the KEEP WARM
lamp will light and the unit will automatically turn to the KEEP
WARM mode.
•Check and stir the food occasionally by opening the Outer
Lid.
•Continue steaming until food is done.
•When the food is done, press KEEP WARM/OFF button to
cancel steaming.
•Some experimentation may be needed to determine exact
cooking times based on personal preferences for cooked food
tenderness or firmness. Press KEEP WARM/OFF button and
unplug the power supply cord after use.

STEWING/MAKING SOUP
To make a stew or soup, select Soup menu. You can set the cooking time from 1 hour to 8 hours in increments of
30 minutes.
1 Put the ingredients and seasonings into the Inner
Pot. Place it into the main unit
•Do not add ingredients above the maximum Soup water
level line. Doing so may cause water to overflow or the food
may not be cooked properly.
2 Close the Outer
Lid and plug in the
power supply cord.
3 Press the MENU
button to select
Soup course.
•„1:00“ (1 hour 00
minutes) is displayed in
the DISPLAY PANEL as
the initial cooking time.
4 Press the HOUR and MINS buttons to set the cooking
time.
•You can set the cooking time from 1 hour to 8 hours in increments
of 30 minutes.
•Each time HOUR button is pressed, the hour changes from 1:00
►2:00 ►3:00►…8:00►1:00 in 1-hour increments. Each time
MINSbutton is pressed, the minutes alternate from :00►:30►:00
30-minute increments.
Example:To set cooking time for 3 hours and 30 minutes. Press
HOUR button to set 3 hours, and then press MINSbutton to set 30
minutes.
5 Press COOKING button to cook.
•The COOKING lamp lights and cooking begins immediately.
•The DISPLAY PANEL will display the remaining cooking time.
•When the time set is reached, the unit will automatically turn to the
KEEP WARM mode.
•Timer cooking cannot be used for Soup cooking.
•Soup course does not include steaming time after cooking.
•Press KEEP WARM/OFF button and unplug the power supply
cord after use.
HOW TO BAKE CAKE
1 Press the MENU button until the menu shows
CAKE on the LCD screen.
2 Select CAKE from
the menu. The default
setting time for baking
cake is 45 minutes and
adjustable down to 15
minutes.
3 Press COOKING
button for 2 seconds. The
cooker will proceed to
bake cake automatically
until cake is well baked.
4 When cooking is
done, remove from
cooker and serve in
suitable container.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Always unplug the power supply cord from the electric outlet and allow the unit to cool off completely
prior to cleaning.
When cleaning the unit, do not use cleaning powder,
scrub brush, benzene or thinner.
Inner Pot and Inner Lid
Wash with dishwashing detergent and soft sponge
after each use.
•Take care not to dent or damage the Inner
Pot or Inner Lid.
•Do not wash rice using hard objects, such as
metal whisks.
•Use provided rice Scoop for serving rice.
•Do not wash hard objects, such as spoons or
rice bowls within the Inner Pot.
•Do not use vinegar in the Inner Pot.
•Some discoloration of the Inner Pot may
occor through normal use. This discoloration
is completely safe and poses no health
hazard.

Wipe with a damp cloth
Make sure to wipe thoroughly any channels where
moisture tends to accumulate.
Heating Element and Temperature Sensor
If rice grains or other dirt becomes stuck to the heating
element, gently polish with fine sandpaper or Brillo pad
and then wipe with a damp sponge.

How to Attach Steam Vent Cap
Turn the Lower Steam Vent Cap clockwise.
Make sure the Steam Vent Seal is placed properly in
the Upper Steam Vent Cap.

If, however, a multifunctional cooker/ rice cooker purchased from us does not function properly, we deeply regret
this and ask you to contact Customer Service given below. We will be happy to help you by phone via the service
hotline mentioned above.
In addition to the legal warranty, we grant a guarantee on all multifunctional cookers/ rice cookers purchased from
us, according to the provisions mentioned below.
This represents no limitation of your legal rights.
1) The guarantee period is one year from date of purchase. The guarantee is valid within the European Union and
Switzerland.
2) During the guarantee period, devices showing defects due to material or manufacturing defaults will be
repaired or replaced at our choice.
Exchanged devices or parts of devices shall become our property. Neither shall guarantee services prolong the
guarantee period nor put a new guarantee into effect.
3) Guarantee claims have to be asserted immediately after becoming aware of the defect, within the guarantee
period.
4) In order to assert claims under the guarantee, the following steps are necessary:
Please contact Customer Service by email, fax or phone, so that we can email you a franked shipping label in a
pdf file. Use this shipping label to send the faulty device, free of postage, to the given service address, enclosing
the guarantee card below as well as your original proof of purchase. If the defect is covered by our guarantee
services, you will receive back a repaired or a new device. The return shipment costs will be paid by us.
5) Claims under the guarantee are excluded in cases of damage due to:
- Abusive or incorrect use
- Environmental exposure (humidity, heat, overvoltage, dust, etc.)
- Failure to follow the safety precautions applicable to the device
- Failure to follow the instruction manual
- Use of force (e. g. strike, kick, drop)
- Interference by a service address not authorized by us
- Arbitrary attempts at repair
- Shipment in packaging which is not transport-proof
6) We also offer you to repair defects or damages to the device, which are not (or no longer) covered by the
guarantee, against reimbursement of costs. Please contact Customer Support for an individual offer.

POINTS IMPORTANTS DE SECURITE
Les précaution importantes décrites dans cette section doivent être suivies avec précaution pour
éviter tout risque d´incendie, d´électrocution, de blessures sur personne et/ou d`endommager
l´appareil:
34. Lire toutes les instructions.
35. Ne pas toucher les sur CHAUDES. Utiliser les
poignées ou boutons.
36. Pour éviter le risque d´incendie, d´électrocution et
ou de blessures, ne pas immerger le cordon, les
prises ou les appareils dans l´eau ou autre liquide.
37. Une supervision proche est nécessaire lorsqu´un
appareil est utilisé par ou à proximité des enfants.
38. Débrancher l´appareil de la prise murale lorsqu´il
n´est pas utilisé ou pour le nettoyer. Le laisser
refroidir avant de fixer ou de retirer des pièces et
avant de le nettoyer.
39. Ne jamais faire fonctionner un appareil avec un
cordon endommagé ni le brancher lorsqu´il est en
panne ou a été endommagé de quelconque
manière. Pour toute vérification, réparation ou
réglage, porter l´appareil à un service après-vente
autorisé.
40. Pour éviter tout risque d´électrocution, ne pas

prise murale. Pour débrancher, tourner
l´interrupteur sur la position << off >>, puis retirer

qu´auquel il est destiné. Cet appareil est conçu
pour l´utilisation domestique uniquement.
49. Utiliser uniquement le voltage CA approprié.

INSTRUCTIONS SUR LE SET DE CORDON SPÉCIAL
A. Un cordon d´alimentation court est fourni pour réduire les risques d´enchevêtrement et de trébucher dedans
comme avec un cordon long.
B. Des rallonges sont disponibles et peuvent être utilisées avec précaution.
C. Si la rallonge est utilisée :
(1) La puissance nominale marquée de la rallonge doit être au moins égale à celle de l´appareil.
(2) La rallonge ne doit pas passer ou être placée au dessus du four et être à portée des enfants où ils peuvent la
tirer ou trébucher dessus.

RÉGLAGE DE L´HORLOGE
•L´heure indiquée sur l´horloge de l´appareil a été préréglée sur l´heure standard.
•Régler l´horloge selon la procédure suivante si l´heure est déréglée à cause de la température de la pièce ou
autre.
•L´horloge ne peut être réglée si la minuterie est en cours d´utilisation pour la cuisson ou la chauffe.
•L´opération en cours peut être annulée en appuyant sur le bouton KEEP WARM/OFF.
•Régler l´horloge sur l´heure juste car la cuisson programmée ne fonctionnera pas correctement si l´heure
n´est pas correcte.
EXAMPLE: Si l´heure actuelle est 8:00 h mais l´affichage indique 7:55 h.
1 Brancher la prise électrique.
2 Appuyer sur le bouton HOUR ou MINS jusqu´à ce que
l´affichage d´heure clignote.
•L´affichage de l´heure commence à clignoter.
3 Appuyer sur HOUR et MINS pour régler l´heure correcte.
•Appuyer sur HOUR pour régler << 8>>. Appuyer sur MINS
pour régler << 00 >>.
•Maintenir appuyés les boutons pour avancer rapidement
l´affichage.
•L´affichage de l´heure s´arrête de clignoter après 6 secondes.
•Le réglage de l´heure est terminé lorsque l´affichage de
l´horloge s´arrête de clignoter.
Batterie au lithium incorporée
•La batterie au lithium interne de l´appareil fournit de l´énergie pour garder l´affichage de l´heure et le réglage
de la minuterie même lorsque la prise électrique n´est pas branchée.
•La durée de vie de la batterie est prévue de 4-5 ans à une température ambiante de 20°C. La durée de vie
de la batterie peut être plus longue lorsque l´appareil reste branché à la prise murale car la puissance de la
batterie interne n´est pas consommée.
•Lorsque la batterie arrive en fin de vie, l´affichage apparaît plus faible et le réglage de la minuterie n´est pas
conservé lorsque l´appareil est débranché de la prise murale. Lorsque la batterie s´affaiblit, l´appareil peut
être utilisé comme d´habitude tant qu´il reste branché.
•Contacter votre revendeur local ou l´un des service après-vente recommandés par KeMar (page 12) pour
remplacer la batterie. Ne pas remplacer la batterie soi-même.
La batterie sera remplacée par une batterie au lithium neuve moyennant un coût. Après le remplacement,
réinitialiser l´horloge et la minuterie.
Coupure électrique lorsque l´appareil est en cours d´utilisation
(Les informations données dans cette section sont aussi valables pour le retrait de la prise ou pour un court-
circuit.)
•Si l´électricité est coupée momentanément, l´appareil revient sur le même mode d´avant la coupure.
•Si la coupure de courant est longue, il peut se produire ce qui suit :

•La cuisson commence immédiatement
si l´heure préréglée de démarrage de

•Le riz risque de ne pas cuire la durée

de ne pas cuire correctement.
•Si la durée de cuisson restante est
courte, l´appareil peut passer en mode
KEEP WARM.
•L´appareil continue à garder le riz au
chaud.

CUISSON DU RIZ
1 Mesurer la quantité de riz et le laver.
•Mesurer le riz en utilisant le verre doseur fourni. 1 verre
doseur est égal à 180 ml.
•Le récipient intérieur peut être utilisé pour laver le riz.

2 Ajouter la quantité adéquate d´eau et placer le
récipient intérieur dans l´appareil.
•Laver le riz et le mettre dans le récipient intérieur.
•Choisir le niveau d´eau en fonction du réglage du menu
sélectionné et la quantité de riz en cours de cuisson.
•Si le niveau d´eau n´est pas correct, l´excès d´eau risque de
bouillir et déborder.
•Régler le niveau d´eau en fonction de votre préférence. Le
niveau d´eau peut être réglé jusqu´à un niveau de graduation.
Si la quantité d´eau est trop grande, elle risque de bouillir et
déborder.
•S´assurer de retirer les grains de riz ou gouttelettes d´eau sur
la paroi extérieure du récipient intérieur ou sur la paroi de
l´appareil. L´eau qui reste collée sur ces parois provoque du
bruit lors de la cuisson.
•Secouer doucement le récipient intérieur pour égaliser le
niveau de riz.
Exemple: Pour cuire 4 verres de riz.
Exemple: Pour cuire 2 verres de riz.
3 Brancher le cordon d´alimentation et sélectionner
MENU.
•Vous ne pouvez pas sélectionner un menu ou cuire du riz
tant que la prise n´est pas branchée.
•Vous ne pouvez pas sélectionner un menu ou cuire du riz si
le témoin KEEP WARM est allumé ou clignote. Appuyer sur
le bouton KEEP WARM/OFF pour annuler le mode
KEEP WARM.
•Appuyer sur le bouton MENU pour déplacer le repère et
changer le menu comme suit:
•Sélectionner WHITE RICE pour cuire du riz mixte, sans
rinçage complet ou sucré.
•Sélectionner BROWN RICE pour cuire riz brun et riz sucré.

4 Appuyer sur le bouton COOKING pour la cuisson.
•Le témoin COOKING s´allume et commence la cuisson. Le PANNEAU
D´AFFICHAGE montre l´heure actuelle.
•Ne pas appuyer sur le bouton COOKING sans avoir le récipient intérieur
correctement placé dans l´appareil.
•Noter que si le bouton COOKING est appuyé accidentellement sans le
récipient intérieur en place, l´élément de chauffe devient
momentanément chaud.
•Vérifier que le témoin COOKING est allumé.
•Si le témoin COOKING n´est pas allumé, appuyer sur le bouton MENU
pour sélectionner de nouveau le menu et appuyer de nouveau sur le
bouton COOKING.
•La durée de cuisson restante s´affiche à partir de 13 minutes.
Exemple: Avec 13 minutes de durée restante.
5 Mélanger le riz avant de le servir. Le riz cuit peut être
gardé au chaud jusqu´à 12 heures.
•Une fois la cuisson terminée, le témoin COOKING s´éteint. Le témoin
KEEP WARM s´allume ensuite et l´appareil passe automatiquement
dans ce mode pour garder le riz chaud.
•Le PANNEAU D´AFFICHAGE montre la durée d´avertissement écoulée.
•Ne pas garder le riz au chaud plus de 12 heures car il risque de sentir,
de jaunir ou de sécher.
•Ne pas débrancher le cordon d´alimentation en mode KEEP WARM.
•Le risotto ne peut pas être gardé au chaud. Lorsque le risotto est cuit, le
témoin KEEP WARM clignote. Ne pas garder le risotto au chaud car il
devient gluant.
•Ne pas utiliser KEEP WARM pour le riz mixte, le riz brun, le riz sucré ou
le riz complet car ils risquent de s´abîmer ou de sentir.
•Un roussissement léger peut se former au fond dur récipient intérieur.
•S´assurer d´appuyer sur le bouton KEEP WARM/OFF et de débrancher
le cordon d´alimentation après utilisation.
•Si cela n´est pas fait, l´appareil se met en mode KEEP WARM dés qu´il
est branché la fois suivante.
•Ne pas réchauffer du riz froid car il risque de développer une odeur.
Cuisson du riz mixte/sucré
•Laver le riz et le tremper dans l´eau avant de le cuire.
•Mélanger tous les ingrédients dans un bol.
•Trop d´ingrédients risquent d´empêcher le riz de cuire correctement.
•L´utilisation d´assaisonnement risque de faire brûler plus facilement le
riz.
•Il est possible de cuire 4 verres de riz mixte ou sucré.
•Remplier le niveau WHITE/MIXED ou SWEET approprié avec de l´eau
ou de l´eau assaisonnée. Placer, ensuite, les ingrédients mélangés sur
le riz.
•Placer le récipient intérieur dans l´appareil.
•Sélectionner WHITE RICE dans le menu et commencer la cuisson.
•Après avoir cuit du riz mélangé à autres ingrédients, une légère odeur
peut rester.
•Laver entièrement le récipient et le couvercle intérieurs après chaque
utilisation.
