1- Introduction

2- Intended Use
K058-PTS Kenmak tilting patient dining table is produced with intend to be
used in hospitals, nursing homes, and homes.
Product should be used in suitable indoor atmosphere, between 0 to +40
degrees.
It is intended to be used by individuals older than 12 years old.
The product should only be used with accessories delivered together with
the table or with accessories produced by Kenmak.
For the information on maxiumum loading capacity see the “Technical
Details” section of this instruction manual.

3- Warnings
Using the equipment for purposes other than those
previously described is forbidden. The equipment must only
be used by properly trained person.
Before starting to use the table, the operator must be
perfectly aware of how the table works and of all technical-
functional features. Such awareness can be acquired by
carefully reading this manual.
If it is possible, the nursing staff should properly inform
patients on how the table works and should explain the
controls so that the patient can operate the product. After
such information has been provided, if it is possible, the
patient should be asked to "trial run" the table.
Removing any safety or protection devices on the appliance
is strictly forbidden; periodically, at weekly intervals, check
the integrity of such devices and make sure they are working
properly.

Before carrying out any maintenance or repair jobs on the
equipment, the operator should have carefully read and
understood the technical information provided in this
manual. All maintenance and repair jobs must be done by
skilled personnel.
Never position the equipment close to heat sources.
Position and secure the equipment in a stable manner on a
horizontal floor. The table movement area must be kept
clean, in order and devoid of objects that could restrict free
movement. The instructions, accident-prevention rules and
warnings contained in this manual must always be followed.

Handgrip for Height Adjustment
When loosened, the eating/reading board can be moved up and down.
Castor Brakes
Prevents the table from accidentally moving while the patient is eating or
reading.

8- Instructions for Use
Before using the table, carefully read all the instructions in this user manual.
Correct control learning will ensure proper and safe table use.
Prior to enabling the various table movements, make sure that the patient
bed and table are in convenient positions.
Locking the wheels
The bed is equipped with 2 diagonally lockable wheels. Press on the wheel
pedals to lock.
Pressed pedal = locked
Released pedal = unlocked

Environment

• Temperature between -300 and 400C

12- Maintenance and
reconditioning
The table is designed to require the minimum maintenance. It is
recommended that preventive maintenance be carried out according to our
service schedule every other year.
Normal Cleaning
Mechanics cleaned with a damp cloth. Readily available cleansers and
disinfectants can be used. Can be rinsed with water.
The table base and eating/reading board are cleaned with a damp cloth.
Readily available cleansers and disinfectants can be used.
High-pressure Wash
Before washing castors have to be in locked position.

Warranty Time: 2 Years
Expected Lifeage: 10 Years (In case used properly with maintenance
program)

2- Käyttötarkoitus
Kallistettava K058-PTS Kenmak -potilasvuodepöytä on tarkoitettu
käytettäväksi sairaaloissa, hoitokodeissa ja kotikäytössä.
Sitä tulee käyttää sopivassa sisäilmastossa, jossa lämpötila on 0–+40 astetta.
Se on tarkoitettu yli 12-vuotiaiden henkilöiden käyttöön.
Tuotetta saa käyttää vain pöydän mukana toimitettujen tai Kenmakin
valmistamien lisävarusteiden kanssa.

3- Varoitukset
Laitteen käyttö muihin kuin aiemmin kuvattuihin
tarkoituksiin on kielletty. Laitetta saa käyttää vain
asianmukaisesti koulutettu henkilö.
Ennen pöydän käytön aloittamista käyttäjän on oltava täysin
tietoinen siitä, miten pöytä toimii ja kaikista teknisistä
toiminnallisista ominaisuuksista. Tällainen osaaminen
voidaan hankkia lukemalla huolellisesti tämä käyttöohje.
Hoitohenkilöstön on mahdollisuuksien mukaan tiedotettava
potilaille pöydän toiminnasta ja selitettävä hallintalaitteiden
toiminta, jotta potilas voi käyttää sitä. Kun tällaiset tiedot on
annettu, potilasta on pyydettävä mahdollisuuksien mukaan
kokeilemaan pöydän toimintaa.
Turva- tai suojalaitteiden poistaminen laitteesta on
ehdottomasti kielletty. Tarkista tällaisten laitteiden eheys
säännöllisesti viikoittain ja varmista, että ne toimivat oikein.
