LIMITED TOOL WARRANTY
King Canada makes every effort to ensure that this product meets high quality and durability
standards. King Canada warrants to the original retail consumer a 2-year limited warranty as of the
date the product was purchased at retail and that each product is free from defects in materials.
Warranty does not apply to defects due directly or indirectly to misuse, abuse, normal wear and
tear,negligence or accidents, repairs done by an unauthorized service center,alterations and lack
of maintenance. King Canada shall in no event be liable for death, injuries to persons or property
or for incidental, special or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.
To take advantage of this limited warranty, return the product at your expense together with your
dated proof of purchase to an authorized King Canada service center. Contact your retailer or visit
our web site at www.kingcanada.com for an updated listing of our authorized service centers. In
cooperation with our authorized serviced center, King Canada will either repair or replace the
product if any part or parts covered under this warranty which examination proves to be defective
in workmanship or material during the warranty period.

Assembly Instructions
Locate the pivot support assembly (A) Fig.1 and slide it onto the guard shaft (B),
this assembly can only be done by sliding it onto the bottom end of the guard
shaft, it will not fit onto the top end. Then to secure it, tighten set screw (C) using
a2.5mm hex. key. Fix the transparent guard (D) to the guard shaft with 2 small
cap screws (E) using a 4mm hex. key.
Installation Instructions
This safety guard is designed for use with King Milling/Drilling Machines models
KC-35, KC-45 and KC-40HC and should be installed to the left side of the head
casting. If your Milling/Drilling Machine does not have the necessary mounting
holes, it will be necessary to drill and tap holes into the head casting. To do this,
you will need an electric drill, a size 10 drill bit and a 6mm x 1.0 Hand Tap. Drill
and tap approximately 3/8” (15mm) deep holes following the drilling position
schematics on the 2 following pages, then mount the pivot support “L” shaped
plate (F) to the head casting with the 2 round head hex. screws using a 4mm hex. key.
