Ironing Temperature Setting Guide
Step 1 - Follow the ironing instructions on the
garment label. If there is not any instruction label on
the item, but you know what kind of fabric it is, please
refer to the fabric setting chart described in this
instruction manual.
Step 2 - The Fabric Setting Chart is only valid for
plain fabrics and not for materials which have textile
finishes (eg. glosses, crinkles) which have been
applied. It is best to iron these at a lower temperature.
Step 3 - Firstly, sort laundry according to ironing
temperature setting guide: wool with wool, cotton
with cotton etc.
Step 4 - The iron heats up quicker than it cools down.
Therefore start ironing the articles that need to be
ironed at the lowest temperature first. Eg. an item
made from synthetic fibers.
IRON TEMPERATURE
DIAL

How To Use Your Power Station™
PREPARE THE APPLIANCE FOR USE
Step 5 - If the fabric is made up of various kinds of fibers, always select the
temperature required by the most delicate fibers, i.e. the lowest temperature. Eg. an
article consisting of 60% polyester and 40% cotton, according to the Fabric Setting
Chart it should be iron for polyester and without steam.
Step 6 - When steam ironing woollen fabrics, shiny patches may occur. To prevent
this from happening turn the article inside out, ironing the reverse side.
Step 7 - After using of the steam iron for cotton fabrics, Do Not iron articles requiring
a lower temperature (such as nylon etc), immediately. It is advisable to adjust the
temperature dial to a lower setting, waiting till the power indicator light turns o and
then you can start ironing.
Step 1 - Check if the rating indicated on the
rating plate corresponds to the main voltage
in your home.
Step 2 - Press the handle buttons located on
the sides of the iron, shown in (Fig. 1) to lay
the handle down.
Step 3 - Remove the protective foil, sticker
or card from the soleplate.
Step 4 - Fully unwind and straighten the
power cord and the supply hose.
Step 5 - Place the appliance on a stable,
level and horizontal surface such as an
ironing board or bench top.
Step 6 - Place the iron onto the iron rest
plate horizontally at the base unit.
NOTE: Do not fill water tank with vinegar, perfume, starch, chemically descaled water
or descaling agents.

STEAM FUNCTION SETTING
After turning the power on, set the temperature dial to the steam ironing position
(the area between Wool and Max on the temperature dial). The heating indicator light
will turn on with the iron unit, this indicates the unit being heated up. When the
desired temperature has been reached, the heating indicator light will turn o, once
this happens the iron is now ready for using. During use, the heating indicator light
will cycle from ON to OFF and then OFF to ON. This indicates that the iron is heat
regulating automatically. Press the steam button to start steam ironing. When you
adjust the temperature control dial, the steam rate will be adjusted accordingly.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Step 1 - Press the water tank lock upwards and slide
the detachable water tank outwards from the base.
(Fig. 2)
Step 2 - Take the filter upwards out from the water
fill hole. (You can take the filter out of the opening
for filling water into water tank, or fill water into
water tank directly with the filter existing in the
opening). (Fig. 3)
Step 3 - Fill the water tank up to or below the MAX
fill line with clean tap water. (Fig. 4)
Step 4 - Replace filter back into water tank. When
moving please hold the water tank with two hands.
(Fig. 5)
Step 5 - Replace the water tank into the base unit
again. You will hear a “Click” sound once the base
unit is securely locked in. (Fig. 6)
Step 6 - Always pour out the remaining water after
use. (Fig. 7)
NOTE: When the temperature control dial is located at Synthetic, it is sugested not to activate
steam ironing since temperature is too low to produce steam. this is only suited for dry ironing.

STEAM IRONING
Step 1 - Fill the water tank with clean tap water (refer to filling the water tank on
page 5). For better performance, please immerse the filter in water for several
minutes before installing it into the water tank.
Step 2 - Connect the unit into a suitable power socket. Turn the temperature control
dial to steam ironing position (the area between Wool and Max on the temperature
dial). The heating indicator light on the iron unit will light up to indicate that the unit
is being heated up. When it turns o, the desired temperature has been reached. It
is now ready for steam ironing. During use, the heating indicator light will cycle from
ON to OFF and then OFF to ON, this indicates that the iron is heat regulating
automatically.
Step 3 - Before using the steam iron function for the first time, please clean the iron
(refer to cleaning and maintenance on page 9). Take the iron unit from the base unit.
Press the steam button underneath the handle to allow steam release for 30
seconds and then stop for another 30 seconds. Do so as a cycle and repeat the
above cycle again. The iron is not ready for using until the heating indicator lights
turns OFF.
Step 4 - During steam ironing the steam rate will vary when the temperature control
dial is adjusted to dierent positions. This can prevent water leakage caused from
the soleplate.
Step 5 - After using, turn the temperature control dial to MIN and then unplug it
from the power socket. Take the iron unit back and place it onto the base unit.
Step 6 - Slide the water tank out from the base unit and empty it.
NOTE: For first time use it is normal that a slight vibration sound may occur from the electrical
pump inside the base unit for a few seconds when the steam iron starts. This is because there
is air inside the filter. It will stop once the air has been pumped out. If this continues to happen
for more than 60 seconds, check to see whether the filter is assembled and installed correctly.
NOTE: When the temperature dial is set at SYNTHETIC position, this is suited for dry ironing
only. MAX steam will be obtained when set at MAX position. When set at WOOL position,
steam will be gradually released slower.

FIG. FIG. FIG. FIG.

NOTE: Never submerge the appliance under water. Never clean or place the appliance
under tap water.
Anti-Calc System
The filter is designed to reduce the build-up of limestone which occurs during
steam ironing which would generally prolong the life of your iron. However, please
note that the filter will not completely stop the natural process of limestone
build-up.
The filter should be properly maintained and replaced with a new one every 2-3
months if used often (once every 1-2 days). Before replacing, the filter it can be
used continuously and the working life of the filter does depend on the water you
use. However the limestone will most likely be built up in the steam chamber and
this may happened depending on your local water quality. It is suggested that you
replace the water filter as soon as possible or mix with 50% proportion of distilled
water.
