Der Wickelgriff (siehe Bild) macht es einfach einen Strang zu wickeln. Einfach das Garn befestigen und
den Wickelgriff drehen. Der Strang wird beim Drehen gewickelt (nie vergessen, den Strang an
mehreren Stellen zu sichern, bevor Sie ihn abnehmen)
1. Klemmen Sie die Haspel an einen Tisch und xieren Sie den Befestigungsknebel, damit die
Haspel nicht wackelt
2. Öffnen Sie den Strang, damit er wie ein großer Kreis aussieht und legen den Strang um die
Rippen der Haspel
3. Öffnen Sie die Haspel mit dem unteren Knebel aufwärts, entlang der Mittelwelle, sodass die
Rippen den Strang halten können
4. Sichern Sie diese Stellung, indem Sie den Knebel anziehen
5. Entfernen Sie die Schnüre des Stranges
6. Finden sie das äussere Garnende. Durch das Ausziehen des äusseren Fadens verheddert sich
der Strang nicht, die Haspel dreht sich schnell und das Wickeln geht einfach
7. Mit unserem Wollwickler (wird extra verkauft) können Sie einen Strang einfach zu einem
Knäuel wickeln
The winding handle, (see picture), makes it easy to wind onto the Skeinwinder. Just attach your yarn
and use the handle to turn the swift, winding a skein as it turns. (always remember to tie your skein in a
few places before removing)
1. Clamp the yarn swift to a table top or desk and tighten the clamp knob so that it doesn't wobble.
2. Untwist the hank to look like a big circle of yarn and loop the hank around the ribs of the swift.
3. Open the yarn swift pushing the bottom stopper upwards along the center shaft so that the ribs
expand and hold the opened hank of yarn in place.
4. Secure that position by tightening the stopper knob.
5. Cut the ties around the opened hank of yarn.
6. Find the end of the yarn that points to the outside of the skein. Pulling the outside end won't
tangle the yarn. As you pull the end of the yarn, the yarn swift rotates making the winding easy.
7. You may wind the yarn into a ball using our ball winder (sold separately).
