It is important to read this user's manual carefully.
It contains information necessary to use your Kitchen TV phone.
This user's manual describes the features, functions and use of the Kitchen TV phone.
Also, if you have any problem while using your kitchen TV phone, please refer to
trouble-shooting section on this manual.

Always follow these basic safety precautions when using Kitchen TV phone.
This will reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.
Please read and understand all the instructions before processing.
1. At the time of installing this equipment, avoid the place where under direct sunshine
or reflective light.
2. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves,
or other apparatus that produce heat.
3. Do not stock on the power line.
4. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose kitchen TV phone to water
or moisture.
5. Keep always from magnetic materials such as audio speaker.
6. Do not use liquid detergents or alcohol on body and monitors.
Clean only with a dry cloth.
7. Do not force with excessive physical and mechanical stock.
8. The LCD monitor is designed to open or close within specified degree of slop.
Do not force excessively to open or close LCD monitor panel. This may cause damage.
9. Do not disassemble this product. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.

ⓐ : POWER Turn On/Off.
ⓑ : TEL Receiving or making a phone call.
ⓒ : REDIAL Redial for last call received or transmitted possible.
ⓓ : CAMERA When visitors press Call button on Camera, users can communicate
with the visitors.
ⓔ : OPEN Opening the door.
ⓕ : REC Once press REC button, user can record the voice for 20 seconds.
ⓖ : PLAY Replay last recorded voice.
ⓗ : OPTION Each mode can change following order.
TV-CATV-FM
ⓘ : TIME Users can adjust time.
ⓙ : MEMORY Memorizing channel or reproducing channel.
After pressing it for 3 seconds the channel would be memorized
automatically.
ⓚ : PRESET Automatic channel selection function.
ⓛ : VOL Adjust volume.
ⓜ : CH Adjust Channel.
ⓝ : ADJUSTVOLUME Adjust Bright, Tint, Color.

[3] Explanation of LCD Window [1] Standard Function
1. How to turn it On/Off
1-1. To Turn it On - Press POWER button.
- When users press POWER button, the unit is immediately supplied power and
displayed the last stage.
- In case it is not supplied power, it displays present time and indicates present stage.
1-2. To turn it Off-Press POWER button again.
- It changes to Time mode.
2. How to set time
- When it is not supplied power, press "TIME" button then first two digits(indicate hours)
on LED flickers. In this moment, you can set hour with Channel adjustment button
(Up & Down).
(AM:Forenoon, PM:Afternoon)
- After setting hours and then push volume button(▲), last two digits(indicate minutes)
flickers.
- In this moment, set minutes with Channel adjustment button (Up & Down).
To finish Time setting mode, press TIME button.
3. How to adjust each volume
3-1. Adjust TV volume.
- In TV mode, adjust volume with volume button (Up, Down).
3-2. Adjust Radio volume
- In the time of using radio, adjust radio volume with volume button (Up, Down).
3-3. Adjust telephone ringing volume.
- In the time of telephone ringing, adjust radio volume with volume button (Up, Down).
3-4. Adjust telephone volume.
- In the time of talking over the phone, adjust radio volume with volume button
(Up, Down)
3-5. Adjust videophone volume.
- In case of integrating with videophone, adjust video phone volume with volume button
(Up,Down), in the time of talking to the camera or entrance.
3-6. Adjust volume when playing recorded voice.
- In the time of playing recorded voice, adjust volume with volume button (Up, Down).
4. Change mode with OPTION button
Users can enjoy watching TV, CATV, and hearing FM RADIO with our Kitchen TV
phone.
- Turn it on with pressing 'Power' button.
- Under the condition of power supplied, it displays last stage. In this moment,
once user can press OPTION button, the mode change the following order.
TV -----> CATV -----> FM

VOL Indicate present volume stage.
FM Indicate FM Radio mode.
CATV CATV-Indicate Cable TV. TV-Indicate TV.
AM In clock mode, indicate 'Forenoon'.
PM In clock mode, indicate 'Afternoon'.
ENTRANCE When there is a calling from chime bell, it flickers.
JANITOR When Janitor call from Janitor room.
TEL Indicate telephone mode.
OPEN During talking over the Video Phone, in case of pressing this button,
it flickers for a moment.
REC Indicate Recording stage.
PLAY Replay recorded voice.
PRESET When users press PRESET button, Preset function will work.
ST Indicate Stereo Mode.
MEM In TV, FM mode, it flickers when users press 'Memory' button
in order to memorize channel.
CH Indicate present channel.
MHz,KHz Indicate present frequency.
A During turn it on, indicate time.
In TV, CATV mode, indicate channel.
In Radio mode, indicate frequency.
B In Radio mode , indicate memorized frequency.

[ 2 ] TV/CATV Function
1. How to select TV/CATV
- Turn it on at first and then press OPTION button.
- Select required mode(TV, CATV).
2. How to memorize channel
When channel can be function does not work, using channel button (Up/Down) or
automatic scan function, channels can be memorized at one time.
2-1. Set channel one by one
- When Preset function does not work, using channel button (Up/Down) move to
required channel.
- Once users find out required channel, press MEMORY button for 3 seconds.
On the LCD displays MEM for instance.
2-2. Auto scan function
- When Preset function work, press MEMORY button for 3 seconds.
- Automatically change frequencies and memorize and stop.
Important features
▶ Once users press PRESET button, Preset function work. If users press once more,
Preset function quit.
▶ When preset function does not work, channel move one by one(1,2,3,4...).
3. How to adjust channel
- While 'PRESET' function works (the character 'PRESET' on LCD is displaying),
once press Channel Up/Down button, it moves to memorized channel.
- When 'PRESET' function is not working, channel moves one by one.
4. How to remove memorized channel
- At first, press 'PRESET' function and then move the channel you wish to remove.
- Once again press 'PRESET' function ('PRESET' function is not working), press
'MEM' button for 3 seconds.
- Press 'PRESET' button again.
5. How to adjust Bright , Tint, Color
- Even though it is TV/CATV mode, user may not watch any image or different color
performance. In this moment, open the volume cover in bottom of monitor and
adjust Bright, Tint, Color.
[3] Radio Function
1. How to turn it On/Off
- Turn it on at first and then press OPTION button to select FM.
2. How to set channels
- When Preset function does not work, with channel button(Up/Down) move to
required channel.
- Once users find out required channel, press MEMORY button for 3 seconds.
- On the LCD displays MEM for instance. User can set from 1 to 20.
3. How to adjust channels
- During 'PRESET' function works (the character 'PRESET' on LCD is displaying),
once press Channel Up/Down button, it moves to memorized channel.
- When 'PRESET' function is not working, channel moves in 0.2MHz.
[4] Home Automation Function
1. Call from Entrance
- When visitors call from entrance, chime bell is ringing in Kitchen TV phone and
the appearance of visitors will be appeared on the monitor.
- Once press ENTRANCE button in this time, users can talk to visitors for 3 minutes.
- Once press OPEN button, public entrance door open.
2. Call from Janitor room
- Once users press JANITOR button, users can talk to Janitor.
- When there is a calling from Janitor room, Janitor mark flickers.
- In this time users can communicate with janitor room after pressing JANITOR button.

[5] Telephone Function
1. How to receive call
- When there is a calling, bell is ringing, and then telephone mode appears
on LCD.
- When users hear ringing press TEL button.
- Once press TEL button, users can communicate through speaker phone.
2. How to make a phone call
- When users desire to make a phone call, press TEL button. And then telephone
mode appears on LCD.
- Press the telephone No.
- After pressing the number, user can make a phone call.
3. How to redial
- Press 'TEL' button and then press 'REDIAL' button.
- Redial for last call received or transmitted possible.
[6] Other Functions
1. How to record and replay
- Users can record and replay contents of talking over the phone, Camera phone
and Entrance phone, even TV, Radio and simple messages.
- When the unit is recording now, REC mode appear on LCD, and is playing,
PLAY mode appears on LCD.
1-1. To record voice
- Once press REC button, users can record voice. Close toward microphone.
Users can record maximum 20 seconds.
- If there is noise around, it would be recorded at the same time.
1-2 To replay recorded voice
- Once users press Play button, the unit replay recorded voice.
This product is designed to work without problems however if you do experience
difficulties, find symptom in the description below and take actions indicated.
It the problem is not listed in the table, contact customer service.
▶Power indicator light is off
Check whether the code is connected with receptacle or not, and whether the code line
is connected with body of the machine normally or not.
▶No response when the button pressed
Check whether it is set Time setting mode at this moment. (Time indicator is flickering)
- Press Option button and remove Time setting mode.
▶No sound in the speaker
Check the volume control level at first.
- Adjust volume control.
Check now whether it is set Telephone mode or Video mode.
- Press TEL button, and remove telephone mode or Video mode.
▶Unable to watch image on the screen
Check the connecting status of body and monitor.
- Close monitor to body.
- Check the brightness level.
▶Image on the screen is distorted
Check the magnetic force nearby monitors.
- Remove magnetic force.
▶Unable to adjust volume
All the volume(TV volume, Telephone volume etc.) is controller under the circumstance
functional operation.
- All of the bell volume is controlled when the bell is ringing.
▶Unable to operate TV
Check the antenna line and body of the M/C.
- Connect the antenna line and body of the M/C.
Adjustment and fitting of channel. Check the mode whether it is TV or CATV
- Press OPTION button and check it is properly set.
▶Unable to operate Radio
Check the volume control level at first.
- Adjust volume control.
Check now whether it is set Telephone mode or Video mode.
- Press TEL button, and remove Telephone mode or Video mode.

▶No telephone function
Check the connection of telephone line code, receptacle and body of the M/C.
- Connection adjustment properly
▶Howling noise
Check first the volume level is too high
- Adjust the volume level.
