Press the Shutter button halfway
to focus and set exposure.
When the Ready light turns green,
press the Shutter button
completely down.

Using the auto-focus framing marks (to take pictures)
Whenusingthe LCDasaviewfinder,framing marksindicatethe camerafocusarea.
Thecameraattemptsto focusonforegroundsubjects,evenif the subjectsarenot
centeredin the scene.

Installing the software
CAUTION:
Install EasySharesoftware beforeconnecting the camera to the
computer. Failureto do so may cause the software to load
incorrectly.
1 Closeall softwareapplicationsthat areopenon yourcomputer(including
anti-virussoftware).
2 Placethe EasySharesoftwareCDintothe CD-ROMdrive.
3 Loadthe software:
WindowsOS--if the installwindow doesnot appear,chooseRunfromthe Start
menuandtype d:\setup.exe whered isthe driveletterthat containsthe CD.
Mac OSX--double-click the CDiconon thedesktop,thenclickthe Installicon.
4 Followthe on-screeninstructionsto installthe software.
Windows OS--select Completeto automaticallyinstallthemostcommonlyused
applications,or Customto choosethe onesyouwish to install.
Mac OSX--follow the on-screeninstructions.
NOTE:Whenprompted,takefewminutestoelectronicallyregisteryourcameraandsoftware.Toregister
later,seewww.kodak.com/go/register.
5 If prompted,restartthe computer.If youturnedoff anti-virussoftware,turn it back

1Turnon the printer. Turn on the camera.
ThePictBridgelogo isdisplayed,followed bythe currentpicture and menu. (If no
pictures arefound, amessageisdisplayed.)If the menu interface turns off, press any
button to redisplayit.
2 Press_/_',,w,'_to choose a printing option, then pressthe OKbutton.
Current Picture Press,_/_ to chooseapicture.Choosethe numberof copies.
Tagged Pictures If yourprinteriscapable,printpicturesthat youtaggedfor printing and
choosea print size.
Index Print Printthumbnailsof all pictures.Thisoption requiresoneor moresheets
of paper.Ifthe printer iscapable,choosea printsize.
All Pictures Print all picturesin internalmemory,on a card,or in Favorites.Choose
the numberof copies.
Image storage Accessinternal memory,a card,or Favorites.
NOTE:Duringdirectprinting,picturesarenotpermanentlytransferredorsavedtothecomputerorprinter.
Disconnecting the camera from aPictBridge enabled printer
1 Turnoff the camera and printer.
2 Disconnect the USBcable from the camera and the printer.
