Connections
•Do not plug in the power cord until all connections have been completed.
•Do not bundle power cords together with connection cables. Doing so can result in noise.

Once all connections are complete, please insert the power plug into the power outlet.

Speaker Placement
Please note, the example below is an example. Please adapt to suit your requirements.
1. TV or Projection Screen
2. Front Channel Left Speaker (FL)
3. Active Subwoofer Speaker
4. Center Speaker (CEN)
5. Front Channel ight Speaker (F )
6. Surround Channel Left Speaker (SL)
7. Surround Channel ight Speaker (S )
Final placement depends on room acoustics, availability of space and your listening preferences.
The center/satellite speakers can be mounted on the walls, otherwise the EVA pads supplied can
be attached to the bottom corners of the speakers in the event of the speakers being placed on
your furniture.
Recei er Control Panel
POWE – press to turn unit ON/OFF
MIC1 & MIC2 – insert up to two microphones
USB port – insert a USB memory device for MP3/WMA playback
MENU – press to enter the menu and select programs
OK.MENU – press to enter the karaoke function menu and select programs
C/S.VOL – press to select center / surround volume to be adjusted
INPUT – select audio input source
DSP – press to select digital signal processing
PLAY/PAUSE – press to play or pause the music track when in USB playback mode
P EVIOUS – press to play the last music track when in USB playback mode
NEXT – press to play the next music track when in USB playback mode
MASTE .VOLUME – turn to adjust the volume, plus can be used for some level adjustment when
selected in the MENU.

Remote Control
POWE /STANDBY – press to put the receiver into, or wake up from, standby
mode
INPUT & DSP – same usage as on the control panel
CHANNEL VOL +/- KEYS – allows you to adjust the output level of each
channel
PLAY / PAUSE / P EV / NEXT / STOP – used to control playback of USB
input media
DELAY – allows you to adjust the effects in MIC functionality
EQ +/- KEYS – Select the frequency 100/300/1k/3.5k/10k for EQ adjustment
VOL +/- KEYS – Volume control and adjust levels of EQ
T EBLE +/- & BASS +/- KEYS – increase or decrease effects from -14dB to +14dB
MUTE – press to mute the whole system
CENTE / SU OUND DELAY – adjust sound playback to get suitable effects
TEST – press to check that speaker connections and locations are correct
ESET – press to restore default factory settings
DISP.M – press to change the display mode
CH.M – sound field mode selections
1. BYPASS: default mode with no digital processing
2. 2.1CH: separate the low frequency to subwoofer output from /L audio channels input
3. P OLOGI: analog 5.1 channels output from the /L audio channel input

Subwoofer Panel
LINE OUT – allows parallel connections for another active subwoofer or other audio unit
PHASE – allows for adjustment of the phase of the subwoofer to get better performance
VOLUME – the level chosen should allow the subwoofer output to blend with the other speakers
F EQ – this control allows for adjustment of the low-pass filter. Adjustment can be made from
30Hz to 150Hz. This will determine the highest frequency that the subwoofer can reproduce.
