•Do ot i stall the batteries with the polarity (+/–) reversed.
•Do ot use batteries which show wear or damage.
•Do ot expose batteries to fire, high temperatures, water, or moisture.

•Do ot fire the flash directly i to the eyes. It may damage eyesight.
•Do ot fire the flash at vehicle operators. It may cause a distractio or temporary
bli d ess which may lead to a accide t.
•Do ot use the mo itor while operati g a vehicle or walki g. It may result i i jury or
a accide t.
•Do ot use this product i a humid e viro me t, or operate this product with wet
ha ds. If liquid e ters the product, immediately remove the batteries or u plug the AC
adapter a d disco ti ue use. The co ti ued use of a product exposed to liquids may
cause damage or i jury through fire or electric shock.
•Do ot use the product ear i flammable gases or liquids such as gasoli e, be zi e,
or pai t thi er. Do ot use i flammable products such as alcohol, be zi e, or pai t
thi er to clea the product. The use of i flammable clea ers a d solve ts may cause

•If the product emits a stra ge odor, heat, or smoke, disco ti ue use. Immediately
remove the batteries taki g care ot to bur yourself as the batteries become hot with

•Take the product to a Ko ica Mi olta Service Facility whe repairs are required.

compartme t or tru k of a car. It may damage the product a d batteries which may
result i bur s or i juries caused by heat, fire, explosio , or leaki g battery fluid.
•If batteries are leaki g, disco ti ue use of the product.
•The le s retracts whe the camera is tur ed off. Touchi g the le s barrel while it is
retracti g may cause i jury.
•The camera temperature rises with exte ded periods of use. Care should be take to
avoid bur s.
•Bur s may result if the memory card or batteries are removed immediately after
exte ded periods of use. Tur the camera off a d wait for it to cool.
•Do ot fire the flash while it is i co tact with people or objects. The flash u it
discharges a large amou t of e ergy which may cause bur s.
•Do ot apply pressure to the LCD mo itor. A damaged mo itor may cause i jury, a d
the liquid from the mo itor may cause i flammatio . If liquid from the mo itor makes
co tact with ski , wash the area with fresh water. If liquid from the mo itor comes i
co tact with the eyes, immediately ri se the eyes with ple ty of water a d co tact a
doctor.
•Whe usi g the AC adapter, i sert the plug securely i to the electrical outlet.
•Do ot use if the AC adapter cord is damaged.
•Do ot cover the AC adapter. A fire may result.
•Do ot obstruct access to the AC adapter; this ca hi der the u pluggi g of the u it
