1. Accessory parts Note:
• This manual provides the illustrations of the
accessory parts and machine that may be
slightly different in shape from yours. In that
case, instead of the illustrations, use the
appearance of your machine to follow the
installation procedure. This does not cause any
significant change or problem with the proce-
dure.
• The Mount Kit MK-603 is required to use the
Finisher FS-534SD/FS-534/FS-533 or the Job
Separator JS-506. Mount the MK-603 before
installing the finishing option.
2. Installation procedures
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
(2) Open the right door.
(3) Remove the cover shown in the illustration. (One
screw)
(4) Remove the cover shown in the illustration. (One
screw)

(5) Disconnect the connector.
(6) Remove the C-clip and remove the front paper
exit unit.
Note:
Reattach the removed C-clip to the front paper exit
unit to prevent it from being lost.
(7) Remove the paper exit unit. (Two screws)
(8) Remove the belt.
Note:
Discard the removed belt.
(9) Remove the C-clip and remove the pulley.
Note:
• Do not discard the removed C-clip as it will be
used in the following procedure.
• Discard the removed pulley.
(10) Install the supplied gear.

(11) Install the 2nd paper exit unit on the paper exit
unit by fitting the two protrusions into the holes.
Note:
Install the 2nd paper exit unit while pressing the
guide down by hand.
(12) Secure the 2nd paper exit unit by using the two
supplied screws.
(13) Hook the supplied belt and secure the gear by
using the C-clip removed in step (9).
(14) Remove the cover shown in the illustration.
(One screw)
(15) Remove the cover shown in the illustration.
(One screw)
Note:
Discard the removed screw and cover.
(16) Reinstall the cover removed in step (14).
(One screw)
Note:
When mounting the Finisher FS-534SD/FS-534/
FS-533 or the Job Separator JS-506 at the same
time, this step is unnecessary.

(17) Conduct the following procedure to reinstall the
paper exit unit to the main body.
a) Tilt the paper exit unit to insert it into the main
body.
b) Turn the paper exit unit in the direction of the
arrow to set it to the main body.
Note:
Set the paper exit unit while hooking the belt over
the gear of the main body.
c) Secure the paper exit unit to the main body.
(Two screws removed in step (7))
(18) Attach the two supplied wire saddle.
(19) Connect the connectors and route the har-
nesses inside the wire saddles.
(20) To reinstall the covers and other parts removed
in steps (2) to (6), reverse the removal proce-
dure.
