Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read these ins-
tructions manual carefully and keep it in a
safe place as you may need to consult it in
the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to
ensure a safe and correct operation, do not
use if:
- It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your ap-
pliance through incorrect use it is advisable
to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance should not be used for other
purposes than the ones intended and sole-
ly for household use. Any damage resulting
from using the appliance outside this scope,
any incorrect use, as well as any manual
modications to the product will not be co-
vered and automatically voids the warranty.

tance.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible
with the appliance’s. If this is not the case,
please consult the Customer Support Ser-
vice.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to discon-
nect the appliance. Also, keep the cord
away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged
cable or socket.
Take it to the Customer Support Service for
replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places.
Do not allow the appliance to become wet
under any circumstances as this may be
dangerous. To avoid re hazard or electric
shock do not expose your appliance to hu-
midity or water. Furthermore, do not place
your appliance under water (e.g. for clea-
ning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the ap-
pliance and remove the plug from the main
power supply. Always allow the unit to cool
down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product, use a
dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions

installing or using this appliance.
• No combustible material or products should
be placed on this appliance at any time.

appliance as it could reduce your installa-

• During use, accessible parts of this equi-
pment will become hot enough to cause

• Do not let your body, clothing or any item
other than suitable cookware contact the
Induction glass until the surface is cool.
• Metallic objects such as knives, forks,
spoons and lids should not be placed on
the hob surface since they can get hot
• Keep children away.
• Saucepan handles may be hot to touch.
Check that the saucepan handles do not
overhang other hot cooking areas. Keep
handles out of reach of children.
• Failure to follow this advice could result in
burns and scalds.
• Never leave the appliance unattended
when in use. Boil over causes smoking
and greasy spillovers that may ignite.
• Never use your appliance as a work or sto-
rage surface.
• Never leave any objects or utensils on the
appliance.
• Do not place or leave any magnetisable
objects (e.g. credit cards, memory cards)
or electronic devices (e.g. computers, MP3
players) near the appliance, as they may
be affected by its electromagnetic eld.
• Never use your appliance for warming or
heating the room.
• Always turn off the cooking zones and the
induction hob after use, as described in this
manual (i.e. by using the touch controls).
Do not rely on the pan detection feature to
turn off the cooking zones when removing
the pans.
• Do not allow children to play with the ap-
pliance or sit, stand, or climb on it.
• Do not store items of interest to children
in cabinets above the appliance. Children
climbing on the induction hob can be se-
riously injured.
• Do not leave children alone or unattended
in the area where the appliance is in use.
• Children or persons with disabilities that li-
mit their ability to use the appliance should
have a responsible and competent person
to instruct them in its use. The instructor
must be sure that they can use the ap-
pliance without danger to themselves or
their surroundings.
• Do not repair or replace any part of the ap-
pliance unless specically recommended
in the manual. All other servicing should
be done by a qualied technician.
• Do not use a steam cleaner to clean your
induction hob.
• Do not place or drop heavy objects on your
induction hob.

rated by means of an external timer or a
separate remote control system.
• CAUTION: The cooking process must be
supervised. A short-term cooking process
must be supervised continuously.
• WARNING: Stabilizing means must be ins-
talled to prevent the appliance from tipping
• Do not stand on your induction hob.
• Do not use pans with jagged edges or drag
pans across the induction glass surface as
this can scratch the glass.
• Do not use scourers or any other harsh
abrasive cleaning agents to clean your in-
duction hob, as these can scratch the in-
duction glass.

replaced by the manufacturer, its service
agent, or similarly qualied persons in or-
der to avoid a hazard.
• This appliance is intended to be used in
household and similar applications such
as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces and
other working environments;
- Farm houses;
- Clients in hotels, motels and other resi-
dential type environments;
- Bed and breakfast type environments.
• WARNING: The appliance and its accessi-
ble parts become hot during use.
• Care should be taken to avoid touching
heating elements.
• Children under 8 years of age must be kept

2.2. Product Usage
Selection of installation equipment
Cut out the work surface according to the sizes specied in the
drawing below.
There must be a minimum 5-cm space around the hole for installa-
tion and use purposes.
Be sure the thickness of the work surface is at least 30 mm. Please
select a heat-resistant work surface material to avoid larger deforma-
tion caused by the heat radiation from the hotplate.

Always make sure the Induction hob is well ventilated and the air
inlet and outlet are not blocked. Ensure the Induction cooker hob is
in good working order, as indicated below.
Note: The safety distance between the hotplate and the cup-
board above the hotplate should be at least 760 mm.

Before installing the hob, make sure that
• The work surface is upright and leveled, and no structural parts can
interfere with the space requirements;
• The work surface is made of a heat-resistant material;
• If the hob is installed above an oven, the oven has a built-in cooling
fan;
• The installation complies with all applicable requirements, rules and
regulations;
• There is a suitable isolating switch providing full disconnection
from the mains power supply incorporated in the permanent wiring,
mounted and positioned to comply with local safety rules and re-
gulations;
• The isolating switch must be of an approved type and provide a
3-mm contact gap in all poles (or in all live conductors, if local regu-
lations allow this variation);
• The isolating switch must be easily accessible to the user after the
hob is installed;
• Local building authorities and by-laws should be referred to, if there
are doubts regarding the installation;
• Heat-resistant and easy-to-clean nishes (such as ceramic tiles)
are used on the wall surfaces surrounding the hob.
After the hob is installed, make sure that
• The power supply cable is not accessible through cupboard doors
or drawers;
• There is an adequate ow of fresh air from outside the cabinetry to
the base of the hob;
• If the hob is installed above a drawer or cupboard, a thermal protec-
tion barrier is installed below the base of the hob;
•The isolating switch is easily accessible by the user.
Before xing the brackets
The unit should be placed on a stable, smooth surface (use the pa-
ckaging). Do not apply force onto the controls protruding from the
hob.
Adjusting the position of the brackets
Fix the hob on the work surface by screwing the 4 brackets on the
bottom of the hob (see picture) after the installation.

Cautions
1. The induction hob must be installed by qualied personnel or tech-
nicians only. We have professionals at your service. Please do not
conduct the operation by yourself.
2. The hob should not be installed directly above a dishwasher, frid-
ge, freezer, washing machine or clothes dryer, as the humidity
may damage the hob electronic components.
3. The induction hob must be installed in such a way that ensures
optimal heat radiation to enhance its reliability.
4. The wall and the surface above the induced heating zone must be
heat resistant.
5. To avoid any damage, the adhesive layer must be heat resistant.
Connecting the hob to the mains power supply
The hob must be connected to the mains power supply by a
suitably qualied technician only.
Before connecting the hob to the mains power supply, check
that:
1. The domestic wiring system is suitable for the power required by
the hob.
2. The voltage corresponds to the value given in the rating plate
3. The power supply cable sections can withstand the power speci-
ed on the rating plate.
Do not use adapters, reducers, or extension leads to connect the
hob to the mains power supply, as they can cause overheating and,
therefore, a re.
The power supply cable must not touch any hot parts and must be
positioned so that its temperature does not exceed 75º C at any point.
Check with an electrician whether the domestic wiring sys-
tem is suitable and there is no need for refurbishments. Any
alterations must be made by a qualied electrician only.
The power supply should be connected in compliance with the rele-
vant standards, or with a single-pole circuit breaker, in accordance
with the connection method illustrated below.
• If the cable is damaged or in need of replacement, the operation
must be carried out by a qualied technicianwith dedicated tools to
avoid any accidents.
• If the appliance is being connected directly to the mains with an
all-pole circuit breaker, it must be installed with a minimum 3-mm
opening between contacts.
• The technician must ensure that the correct electrical connection
has been made and that it is compliant with safety regulations.
• The cable must not be bent or compressed.
• The cable must be checked regularly and replaced by authorised
technicians only.
Electrical Shock Hazard
• Disconnect the appliance from the mains electricity supply before
carrying out any work or maintenance on it.
• Connection to a good earth wiring system is essential and man-
datory.
• Alterations to the domestic wiring system must only be made by a
qualied electrician.
• Failure to follow this advice may result in electrical shock or death.
• Do not cook on a broken or cracked induction hob. If the induc-
tion hob surface presents breaks or cracks, switch off the appliance
from the mains power supply (switchboard) immediately and con-
tact a qualied technician.
• Switch off the induction hob from the wall before cleaning or main-
tenance.
• Failure to follow this advice may result in electrical shock or death.
Cut Hazard
• Exercise care - panel edges are sharp.
• Failure to use caution could result in injury or cuts.
• The blade of a cooktop scraper is sharp and exposed when the
safety cover is retracted. Use with extreme care and always store it
safely and out of reach of children.

Health Hazard
• This appliance complies with electromagnetic safety standards.
• However, people with cardiac pacemakers or other electrical im-
plants (such as insulin pumps) must consult with their doctor or im-
plant manufacturer before using this appliance to ensure that their
implants will not be affected by the electromagnetic eld.
• Failure to follow this advice may result in death.
A Note on Induction Cooking
Induction cooking is a safe, advanced, efcient, and economical
cooking technology. It works by electromagnetic vibrations genera-
ting heat directly in the pan, rather than indirectly through heating the
glass surface. The glass becomes hot only because the pan even-
tually warms it up.

Before using your New Induction Hob
• Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Warnings’ section.
• Remove any protective lm that may still be on your Induction hob.
Using the Touch Controls
• The controls respond to touch, so you don’t need to apply pressure.
• Use the ball of your nger, not its tip.
• You will hear a beep each time a function is registered.
• Make sure the controls are al-
ways clean, dry, and that there
is no object (e.g. a utensil or a
cloth) covering them. Even a
thin lm of water may make the
controls difcult to operate.
Choosing the right Cookware
• Use induction compatible cookware only. Look for the in-
duction symbol on the packaging or on the bottom of the
pan.
• You can check whether your cookware is suitable by
carrying out a magnet test. Move a magnet towards
the base of the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is sui-
table for induction.
• If you do not have a magnet:
1. Fill the pan you want to check with some water.
2. If the symbol does not ash in the display and the water is
heating, the pan is suitable.
• Cookware made from the following materials is not suitable: pure
stainless steel, aluminium or copper without a magnetic base,
glass, wood, porcelain, ceramic, and earthenware.
Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
Make sure that the base of the pan is smooth, sits at against the
glass, and is the same size as the cooking zone. Use pans with the
same diameter as the selected cooking zone. A larger pan will requi-
re more energy to reach maximum efciency, while using a smaller
pan may affect its efciency. A pot that is less than 140 mm in dia-
meter may be undetected by the hob. Always centre your pan on the
cooking zone.
Always lift the pans from the Induction hob – do not slide them, or
they may scratch the glass.
Using your Induction Hob
To start cooking
1. Press the ON/OFF control.
After the power is on, the buzzer beeps once, and all
displays show the symbols “-” or “- -”, indicating that
the induction hob has entered the standby mode.
2. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone that you
wish to use.
• Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface
of the cooking zone are clean and dry

3. An indicator light will ash next to the key when
pressing the cooking zone selection control.
4. Select a heat setting by pressing the “-“ or “+” con-
trols.
• If you don’t select a heat setting within 1 minute,
the Induction hob will switch off automatically. You
will need to start over from step 1.
• You can modify the heat setting at any time during
cooking.
If the display ashes alternately between the symbol
and the heat setting
This means that:
• You have not placed a pan on the correct cooking zone or,
• The pan you’re using is not suitable for induction cooking or,
• The pan is too small or not properly centred on the cooking zone.
The hob will only heat up if there is a suitable pan on the cooking
zone.
If no suitable pan is placed on the hob, the display will automatically
turn off after 1 minute.
When you have nished cooking
1. Press the heating zone selection control that you
wish to switch off
2. Turn the cooking zone off by pressing the control
down to “0”. Make sure the display shows “0”
3. Turn off the induction hob by pressing the ON/OFF
control.
4. Beware of hot surfaces.
The symbol “H” will indicate which cooking zonesare
hot to the touch. It will disappear when the surface
has cooled down to a safe temperature. It can also
be used as an energy saving function, so if you want
to heat more pans, use the hotplate that is still hot.
Using the Boost function
The Boost function increases the heating energy power in one se-
cond and lasts for 5 minutes. Thus, you can obtain a faster cooking.
Using the Boost to get more power
1. Press the heating zone selection button that you
wish to boost. An indicator light will ash next to the
key.
2. Press the Boost button, and the heating
zone will start working.
The power display will show the symbol
“P”, indicating that the cooking zone is
in boost mode.
3. The Boost power will last for 5 minutes, and then
cooking zone will return to the power level that was
set before its activation.
4. If you want to cancel the Boost function, rst press the heating
zone selection button, an indicator light will ash next to the key.
Next, press the Boost button. The heating zone will go back to the
power level that was set before the boost.
Restrictions when using the Boost function

Locking the Controls
• You can lock the controls to prevent unintended use (for example,
children accidentally turning on the cooking zones).
• When the controls are locked, all the controls except the ON/OFF
control are disabled.
To lock the controls
Touch the safety lock control. The timer indicator will display “Lo”
To unlock the controls
1. Make sure the Induction hob is turned on.
2. Press and hold the safety lock control for a few moments
3. You can now start using your Induction hob.
When the hob is in the safety lock mode, all the controls are
disable except the ON/OFF, you can always turn the induc-
tion hob off with the ON/OFF control in an emergency, but in
the next operation you must rst unlock the hob.
Over-Temperature Protection
There is a temperature sensor to monitor the temperature inside the
Induction hob. When an excessive temperature is detected, the In-
duction hob will stop operating automatically.
Detection of Small Articles
When an unsuitable sized or non-magnetic pan (e.g. aluminium), or
some other small item (e.g. knife, fork, key) is left on the hob, the hob
will automatically enter standby mode in 1 minute. The fan will keep
working for another minute.
Auto Shutdown Protection
Auto shut down is a safety protection function for your induction hob.
It shuts down automatically if you forget to turn off your appliance.
The default working times for the various power levels are specied
in the following table:

When the pot is removed, the cooking zone will stop heating imme-
diately and the hob will switch off automatically after 2 minutes.
People with a heart pacemaker should consult with their
doctor before using this unit.
Using the Timer
You can use the timer in two different ways:
• You can use it as a minute-minder. In this case, the timer will not
turn off any cooking zone after the set time is up.
• You can set it to turn one cooking zone off after the set time is up.
• You can set the timer up to 99 minutes.
Using the Timer as a Minute-minder
If you are not selecting a cooking zone
1. Make sure the induction hob is switched on.
Note: you can use the minute-minder even if you
don’t select a cooking zone.
2. Press the timer control, the minute-minder indica-
tor light will start ashing and “30” will appear on
the display.
3. Set the time by pressing the “-” or “+” timer controls
Hint: Press the “-” or “+” timer controls once to decrease or in-
crease the time by 1 minute. Hold the “-” or “+” timer controls to
decrease or increase the time by 10 minutes.
4. When pressing the “-”, the timer will decrease and “00” will appear
on the minute display.
5. When the time is set, the countdown will start im-
mediately. The display will show the remaining time
and the timer indicator will ash for 5 seconds.
6. The buzzer will beep for 30 seconds and the timer
indicator will show “- - “when the set time has ni-
shed.
Setting the timer to turn one cooking zone off
To set this function for the cooking zones:
1. Press the heating zone selection control that you
want to set the timer for. (e.g. zone 3#)

2. Press the timer control. The minute indicator will
start ashing and “30” will appear on the timer dis-
play.
3. Set the time by pressing the timer control
Hint: Press the “-“ or “+” control of the timer once
will decrease or increase by 1 minute.
Pressing and holding the ”-“ or “+” control of the
timer will decrease or increase by 10 minutes.
4. Pressing “-“ will decrease the timer, and “00” will show on the mi-
nute display.
5. When the time is set, it will begin the count down
immediately. The display will show the time remai-
ning time and the timer indicator light will ash for
5 seconds.
NOTE: The red dot next to the power level indica-
tor will light up indicating that the zone is selected.
6. When the cooking time is completed, the corres-
ponding cooking zone will automatically switch off
and the timer will display “H”.
The other cooking zones will operate if they were turned on
previously.
Setting the timer to turn off more than one cooking zone
1. When using this function for more than one heating
zone, the timer indicator will show the shortest time.
(e.g. zone 2# set time of 3 minutes, zone 3# set
time of 6 minutes, the timer indicator light will dis-
play “3”.)
NOTE: The ashing red dot next to the power level
indicator signals the time of that cooking zone.
If you wish to check the set time of other heating zo-
nes, press the heating zone selection control. The
timer will indicate its set time.

2. When the cooking time expires, the corresponding
heating zone will automatically switch off and the
symbol “H” will appear.
NOTE: If you want to change the time after the ti-
mer is set, you must start from step 1.
Cooking Guidelines
Use caution when frying, as oil and fat heat up very quickly,
particularly if you’re using the Boost function. Oil and fat can
ignite spontaneously at extremely hot temperatures, which
presents a serious re hazard
Cooking Tips
• When the the boiling begins, reduce the temperature.
• Using a lid reducesthe cooking times and saves energy by retaining
the heat.
• Minimizing the amount of liquid or fat reduces cooking times.
• Start cooking on a high setting and reduce it when the food is com-
pletely heated.
Simmering, cooking rice
• Simmering occurs below boiling point, at around 85º C, when bub-
bles are rising only occasionally to the surface. It is the key to deli-
cious soups and tender stews because the avours develop without
overcooking the food. You should also cook egg-based and our-
-thickened sauces below boiling point.
• Some tasks, including cooking rice by the absorption method, may
require a higher setting to ensure that the food is cooked properly
in the recommended time.
Searing steak
To cook juicy avoursome steaks:
1. Place the meat at room temperature for about 20 minutes before
cooking.
2. Heat up a heavy-based frying pan.
3. Brush both sides of the steak with oil. Drizzle a small amount of oil
into the hot pan and then lower the meat onto the hot pan.
4. Turn the steak only once during cooking. The exact cooking time
will depend on the thickness of the steak and how cooked you
want it. Times may vary from about 2 – 8 minutes per side. Press

5. Leave the steak to rest on a warm plate for a few minutes to allow
it to relax and become tender before serving.
For stir-frying
1. Choose an induction compatible at-based wok or a large frying
pan.
2. Have all the ingredients and equipment ready. Stir-frying should
be quick. When cooking large quantities, cook the food in several
smaller batches.
3. Lightly preheat the pan and add two tablespoons of oil.
4. Cook the meat rst, put it aside and keep it warm.
5. Stir-fry the vegetables. When they are hot but still crisp, turn the
cooking zone to a lower temperature, return the meat to the pan
and add your sauce.
6. Wrap the ingredients gently to make sure they are heated through.
7. Serve immediately.

1.1. Alimentación
Compruebe que la tensión de la red eléctri-
ca es compatible con la indicada en el apa-

1.2. Cable de alimentación y otros
cables
No enrolle el cable de alimentación ni tire de
él para desenchufar el aparato. Asimismo,
manténgalo alejado de supercies calien-
tes.
Nunca utilice este aparato si el cable o el
enchufe están dañados.
En su lugar, llévelo a un Servicio de Aten-
ción al Cliente para que proceda a su sus-
titución.
1.3. Humedad y agua
No utilice el aparato en lugares húmedos.
No deje que el aparato se moje en ningu-
na circunstancia, pues puede ser peligroso.
Para evitar el peligro de incendio o descarga
eléctrica, no exponga el aparato al agua o la
humedad. Asimismo, no sumerja el aparato
(por ejemplo, para limpiarlo).
1.4. Limpieza
Antes de proceder a la limpieza del aparato,
apáguelo y desconecte el cable de la cor-
