96W LED Light Bar w/ Telescoping Aluminum Pole Mount
- 5760 Lumens - 3-8.5' - 9-42VDC - Cord Options
Instruction Manual
Thank you for your purchase of the Larson Electronics LEDXUL-32E LED Light Bar. Please follow the steps
below in order to install, operate and maintain this product.
MOUNTING
The TPM-LEDLB-32E features an adjustable mounting pole that has a pneumatic braking system to prevent
unexpected or sudden collapses of the pole. The telescoping pole stands 3 feet tall when fully closed and can
reach heights up to 8 feet when fully extended. It is ideal for boats as operators can mount this next to the
console and elevate the lights starting at three feet up to eight and a half feet to illuminate the boat and the
surrounding area. By elevating the lights this high, they can eliminate casting and glare while better
illuminating a larger area. Essentially, this adjustable pole provides the benefits of having a mast mounted light
without actually having a mast. Once the lights are no longer needed, the pole can be collapse down to three
feet and the lights secured before getting underway. Similarly, these poles are ideal for attaching lights to
trailers. Operators can park the trailer, extend the lights to their maximum height, and illuminate a large area
around the trailer. Once finished with their use, the pole is simply collapsed and the lights stowed for travel.
This is a highly convenient setup for those who manage events and gatherings where trailers are used as
portable operations areas.
This adjustable telescoping pole is designed to be mounted to any vertical surface via an included mounting
plate with four predrilled mounting holes. Users can simply attach the mounting plate to a wall, trailer, the
exterior of boat cockpits etc, then slip the pole into the bracket and lock it into place. This pole also features a
pneumatic braking system that prevents unexpected or sudden collapse of the pole. If the pole is loaded with
a pair of heavy fixtures for instance and the operator inadvertently releases the locking tabs, the pole will
simple ease down gently rather than suddenly collapse. This is a great feature when mounting expensive
electronic devices and you would like the added security of knowing there is no chance of serious damage
should the pole be released.
ANGLE ADJUSTMENT
This unit allows operators to adjust the angle of the entire unit by positioning the trailer hitch at different
angles. Adjusting the angle of the tower is accomplished by loosening a thumb bolt at the base of the hitch,
which enables the mount to swivel 180 degrees (given enough ground clearance, a greater swivel angle can
be achieved.) Once the desired angle is found, simply retighten the thumb bolt to lock the hitch into place.

MOUNT SCREW
WIRING
We strongly encourage a licensed electrician install this product, especially in outdoor locations where
weatherproofing may be required. Universal voltage driver permits operation at 9-42V DC.
Each light comes with a detachable 16 foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a
weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the
spotlight. Other cords, including 21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord with spring battery
clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available. This
light can be ordered in either 12 volt or 24 volt configuration, allowing it to be used with any vehicle or ATV
equipped with a cigarette plug. Choose voltage when ordering.
Warning: Check product label for correct input voltage!
Attach supply line wires to the appropriate light fixture wires as
shown in the diagram
Secure each pair with a wire nut according to the diagram.
Utilize a junction box or similar device and take
precautionary steps for weatherproofing all connections if
installed in a location where water will come in contact with
the unit. Ensure the unit is properly grounded.
Submersible to 3 Meters
This LED wall pack is IP68 waterproof for temporary submersion (<60 minutes) and built to resist the
damaging effects of an outdoor environment. It can be used underwater (<60 minutes) and above water.
The luminaire is submersible up to 3 meters.
LIGHT POLE OPERATION
1. Place Golight on top mounting bracket using predrilled mounting holes. Route cable through mounting plate
down to power source.
2. Place mounting bracket over the top pole and tighten hand screw.
3. Place pole in its mount and secure.
4. Extend pole by lifting upwards. Two self-locking collars hold the pole in any position. Once let go, the pole will
stay in place.
5. To lower pole, lift the self-locking collar for each section. The pole is air cushioned and will lower softly. See
below.
This pole features a pneumatic braking system that prevents unexpected or sudden collapse of the pole. If the pole is
loaded with a pair of heavy fixtures for instance and the operator inadvertently releases the locking tabs, the pole will
simply ease down gently rather than suddenly collapse. This is a great feature when mounting expensive electronic
devices and you’d like the added security of knowing there is no chance of serious damage should the pole be
released.
USE AND CARE
Always check damaged or worn out parts before use. Broken parts will affect operation. When not in use,
store in a secure place out of the reach of children. Inspect it for good working condition prior to storage and
before re-use.
