LIMPIEZA: Limpie las aberturas de toma de aire y escape del

9.Where possible, avoid the use of extension cords. If they must be
used, minimize the risk of overheating by ensuring that they are
UL listed. Never use a single extension cord to operate more
than one Fan.
10.Do not operate any Fan with a damaged cord or plug or after the
Fan malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
Return Fanto authorized service facilityfor examination,electrical
or mechanical adjustment or repair.
11.Do not insert or allow fingers or foreign objects to enter any
ventilation or exhaust opening as it may cause an electric shock

in any manner while it is in operation.
12.Always place the Fan on a stable, flat, level surface when
operating, to avoid the chance of the Fan overturning. Locate

Do not run Power Cord under carpeting. Do not cover Power

FUNCIONAMIENTO (Figura 1)
Debido a la alta velocidad del aire generado por este
Ventilador,es normalescucharelsonido del aire.Paraobtener
un funcionamiento más silencioso, utilice baja velocidad.
1. Retire el ventilador de su caja.
2. Coloque elVentilador sobre una superficie firme y plana.
ADVERTENCIA: Las etiquetas del plástico o el caucho, quieren los
piesen estaunidad,pueden atascarapisos demaderadura.Launidad
puede salir un residuo que podría oscurecer, poder manchar o podría
salirimperfeccionespermanentes en elfindeciertos pisosdemadera
dura.
3. Cerciórese de que el enchufe encaje bien en el tomacorriente de
120 V.Si quedara flojo, esto podría provocar sobrecalentamiento
y dañar el enchufe. El enchufe y su cable pueden calentarse
durante el uso normal.
4. Encienda el Ventilador girando la Perilla de Encendido /
Velocidad.
5. Ajuste elVentilador a la velocidad deseada.
3 – Velocidad Alta
2 – Velocidad Mediana
1 – Velocidad Baja
6. La función oscilante funcionará en cualquier modo de velocidad.
Oprima el Botón de Oscilación ( ) para activar esta función.
Oprímalo una vez más para desactivar esta función.
7. Para girar el Ventilador APAGAR, girar la Perilla de la Poder/
Velocidad a APAGAR (0) y quitar la unidad de la salida eléctrica

Además de la función oscilante, este Ventilador está equipado con
persianas en la parrilla anterior, lo cual permite ajustar verticalmente
el flujo de aire.Haga girar el control de persiana
(Insertar 2A) hacia
arriba o haciaabajoparaajustar el flujo de airesegúnsupreferencia.

MAINTENANCE
WARNING: ALWAYS UNPLUG THE CORD BEFORE MOVING
OR SERVICING.
WARNING: DO NOT IMMERSE FAN INWATER!
CLEANING: Clean the Fan intake and exhaust openings with a
vacuum brush attachment on your vacuum cleaner. This will
remove dirt and lint that may accumulate over time. DO NOT
ATTEMPT TO TAKE APART FAN. Clean the body of the Fan
with a soft cloth.
CAUTION: Do not use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh clean-
ers, etc. as they will damage the Fan. NEVER use ALCOHOL
OR SOLVENTS.
SERVICING: All other servicing, with the exception of general user
maintenance, should be performed by an authorized service repre-
sentative. Call 1-800-233-0268, Monday through Friday, between
the hours of 8:00 a.m.and 5:00 p.m.for the location of your nearest
service center.
STORAGE: Store the Fan, with these instructions, in the original
carton in a cool, dry place.

9. De ser posible, evite el uso de cables de extensión. Si debieran

11.No introduzca ni permita que se introduzcan dedos u objetos
extraños en ninguna abertura de ventilación o escape, puesto
que podría provocar un golpe de electricidad, incendio, o daños
al ventilador. No bloquee ni manipule el Ventilador de ninguna
manera mientras esté en funcionamiento.
12.SiemprecoloqueelVentilador sobre una superficie,estable,plana
y horizontal mientras esté en funcionamiento, para evitar la
posibilidad de que el Ventilador se dé vuelta. Ubique el cable
eléctrico de tal modo que el ventilador u otros objetos no
descansen sobre él. No disponga el cable eléctrico debajo de
alfombras. No cubra el cable eléctrico con tapetes, alfombras
continuas u objetos similares. Coloque el cable eléctrico fuera
del paso de las personas y donde nadie se tropiece con el mismo.
13.EsteVentilador nohasido diseñadoparausarse enlugaresmojados
ohúmedos.Nunca coloqueunVentiladordonde quepalaposibilidad
de que caiga en una bañera u otro recipiente con agua.
14.No use el Ventilador en exteriores.

OPERATION (Figure 1)
Due to the high velocity of air generated by this Fan, hearing the
sound of the air is normal. For quieter operation, use low speed.
1. Remove the Fan from the carton.
2. Place the Fan on a firm, level surface.
WARNING: Plastic or rubber tabs, like the feet on this unit, may
stick to hardwood floors. The unit may leave a residue that could
darken, stain or leave permanent blemishes on the finish of certain
hardwood floors.
3. Plug the cord set into a 120V~ electrical outlet. Be sure plug fits
tightly in outlet. A loose fit may cause overheating and damage
the plug.
4. Turn the Fan ON by turning the Power/Speed Knob.
5. Set the Fan to the desired speed.
3 - High Speed
2 - Medium Speed
1 - Low Speed
6. The oscillation function will operate in any speed mode. Press the
Oscillation Button ( ) to turn this function on. Press it once
more to turn this function off.
7. To turn the Fan OFF, turn the Power/Speed Knob to OFF (0) and
unplug the unit from the electrical outlet.
LOUVER FUNCTION (Figure 2)
In addition to the oscillation function, this Fan has louvers on the
front grill that allow for vertical adjustment of air flow. Roll the louver
control (Inset 2A) up or down to adjust the air flow as desired.
