CAUTION:
Usage of controls or adjustments or performance of procedures other than those specified
herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf,
leave 5 cm (2”) free space around the whole device.
2. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
3. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles and
other heat-generating products or naked flame. The device can only be used in
moderate climates. Extremely cold or warm environments should be avoided. Working
temperature between 0° and 35°C.
4. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic fields.
5. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and
restart the device following the instruction manual. During file transmission, please
handle with care and operate in a static-free environment.
6. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High
voltage flows through the product and inserting an object can cause electric shock
and/or short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or liquid on
the product.
7. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near
swimming pools.
8. The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects
filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on or near the apparatus.
9. Do not use this device when condensation may occur. When the unit is used in a warm
wet room with damp, water droplets or condensation may occur inside the unit and
the unit may not function properly; let the unit stand in power OFF for 1 or 2 hours
before turning on the power: the unit should be dry before getting any power.
10. Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times
before leaving the factory, it is still possible that problems may occur, as with all
electrical appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or any other
unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket
immediately.
11. This device must operate on a power source as specified on the specification label. If
you are not sure of the type of power supply used in your home, consult your dealer or
local power company.
12. Keep away from animals. Some animals enjoy biting on power cords.
13. To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or petrol based fluids. To
remove severe stains, you may use a damp cloth with dilute detergent.
14. The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by malfunction, misuse,
modification of the device or battery replacement.
15. Do not interrupt the connection when the device is formatting or transferring files.
Otherwise, data may be corrupted or lost.

16. If the unit has USB playback function, the USB memory stick should be plugged into the
unit directly. Don’t use an USB extension cable because it can cause interference
resulting in failing of data.
17. The rating label has been marked on the bottom or back panel of the device.
18. This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory
or mental disabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they’re under
supervision or have received instructions about the correct use of the device by the
person who is responsible for their safety.
19. This product is intended for non-professional use only and not for commercial or
industrial use.
20. Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by using this
product in an unstable position vibrations or shocks or by failure to follow any other
warning or precaution contained within this user manual will not be covered by
warranty.
21. Never remove the casing of this device.
22. Never place this device on other electrical equipment.
23. Do not allow children access to plastic bags.
24. Only use attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
25. Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the device
has been damaged in any way, such as the power supply cord or the plug, when liquid
has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, when the device has been
exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
26. Long exposure to loud sounds from personal music players may lead to temporary or
permanent hearing loss.
27. If the product is delivered with power cable or AC power adaptor:
⚫If any trouble occurs, disconnect the AC power cord and refer servicing to
qualified personnel.
⚫Don’t step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly near the
plugs and the cable’s exit point. Do not place heavy items on the power adaptor,
which may damage it. Keep the entire device out of children’s reach! When
playing with the power cable, they can seriously injure themselves.
⚫Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.
⚫The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily
accessible.
⚫Do not overload ac outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause fire or
electric shock.
⚫Devices with class 1 construction should be connected to a main socket outlet
with a protective earthed connection.
⚫Devices with class 2 construction do not require an earthed connection.
⚫Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the main supply socket. Do not pull
the power cord. This can cause a short circuit.
⚫Do not use a damaged power cord or plug or a loose outlet. Doing so may result
in fire or electric shock.
28. Caution about the use of Batteries:
⚫Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same
or equivalent type.

⚫Battery cannot be subjected to high or low extreme temperatures, low air
pressure at high altitude during use, storage or transportation.
⚫Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can result in an explosion or
the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
⚫Disposal of a battery into fire or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting
of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
⚫Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment
that can result in an explosion or that leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
⚫A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion
or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
⚫Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. To open the battery door: Using screwdriver to loosen the screw, pull the battery door (as shown in diagram).
2. Install the batteries making sure the “+” and “-“ends of the batteries correspond properly (as shown in
diagram).
3. If the batteries are not installed correctly the set will not work.
4. If the sound becomes weak or unclear, replace all of the batteries.
5. If the unit is left unused for a long period of the time, removed batteries to prevent leakage or possible
damage to the unit.
Packing has to be kept since it contains important information.
Auto standby
When playing media from a connected device, the device automatically switches to standby if:
•No button is pressed for 10 minutes,
•No audio from a connected device for 10 minutes.
Operation
Rotate the POWER knob to turn ON and OFF the unit.
Adjusting the volume
Rotate the Volume knob clockwise to increase the volume.
Rotate the Volume knob counterclockwise to decrease the volume.
Adjusting the Microphone volume
Rotate the MIC Volume knob clockwise to increase the microphone volume.
Rotate the MIC Volume knob counterclockwise to decrease the microphone volume.

Bluetooth Mode
You must follow several steps to connect your mobile phone:
1. Activate Bluetooth from your mobile phone (please refer to your phone’s user manual)
2. Rotate POWER knob to turn on the unit, then press the MODE button repeatedly until the “BT.” indicator
appears on the display. It will be ready to pair automatically.
3. Use your mobile phone to search for the Bluetooth device named “Lenco KCD-011kids”.
4. Select “Lenco KCD-011kids” on your phone and it present the option to connect or not. Please connect
to it using the password “0000” (if any). When you are successfully connected, the Bluetooth indicator
“BT” appears on the display.
Automatically Connecting with Your Phone
Pairing is only needed the first time the unit and phone are used together. When the unit and phone have been
paired once, they will automatically connect when the unit is on and Bluetooth is activated on the phone. The next
time you power on, the unit will automatically connect to the most recently connected mobile phone.
Play from Bluetooth Device
After successful Bluetooth connection, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play. Press the F.SKIP or B.SKIP button to
skip the tracks backwards or forwards. To pause or resume play, press PLAY/PAUSE the button again. Press and
hold the button PLAY/PAUSE to disconnect all paired Bluetooth devices.
Playing a compact disc (CD)
NOTE: Never touch the laser lens inside the CD compartment. Clean the laser lens using a CD cleaner disc if it
becomes dirty.
1. Rotate the POWER button to turn on the unit.
2. Press the MODE button repeatedly to select the CD function.
3. Open the CD door and put a CD on the tray (with printed label side facing up).
4. Close the CD DOOR and the disc will rotate for a few seconds, then play the 1st track automatically.
5. To temporarily stop playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button, and to resume playback, press it again.
6. Press the STOP button to stop play.
BACKWARD/FORWARD
1. The F.SKIP and B.SKIP Buttons used to jump to a different track number or hold to scan disc tracks at high
speed.
2. Press the B.SKIP button once to skip to the beginning of the current track. Press it two or more times to hear
previous tracks on the disc.
3. Press the F.SKIP button to start playing the next tracks on the disc.
4. Press and hold the B.SKIP button; The current track will be rewarded towards the start of the track track(s);
When the desired track section is found, release the button and normal play will resume.
5. Press and hold the F.SKIP button, the current track will be sped up towards the next track(s).
When the desired track section is found, release the selected button and normal playback will resume.
REPEAT FUNCTION
The CD REPEAT button may be used to repeat a single track or repeat all tracks on a compact disc.
To select the single-track repeat function, choose the track that you want to repeat, then press REPEAT
button once to activate the single track repeat. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to play the track. To select the “All
Tracks Repeat” function, press REPEAT button twice to activate the “All Tracks Repeat” function. Press
PLAY/PAUSE button to start the track.
PROGRAM FUNCTION
The Program feature may be used to program up to 20 tracks to play in a selected order.
1. Press STOP button to show all tracks number, such as”20”
2. Press PROGRAM button once, the LED DISPLAY showing “01”,
3. Press F.SKIP (FORWARD SKIP) or B.SKIP (BACKWARD SKIP) button to select a track.
4. Press PROGRAM button again to store the selected track number.
5. Repeat steps 2 and 3 above to program other tracks.
6. Press PLAY/PAUSE button to start programmed playback.

7. To erase the programmed sequence, press STOP button twice.
NOTE: A maximum of 20 tracks can be programmed to play in any order.
DISC SECTION Sing
1. Place a disc inside the CD player.
2. Press PLAY/PAUSE button.
3. Slide MICROPHONE ON/OFF switch to ON position while singing.
4. Adjust VOLUME MIC knob to the desired volume level.
NOTE: Do not put the microphone too close to the speaker as the microphone too close to the speaker as this
may cause feedback (squealing noise) through the speaker.

About the disks
Handling
Do not touch the underside of disks.
Hold disks by the edges to avoid leaving fingerprints on the surface. Any dust,
fingerprints or scratches may cause a malfunction.
Never affix a label or sticky tape to the disk.
Storage
Put disks back in their case after use.
Never expose disks to direct sunlight or heat sources. Never leave disks inside a
car parked in full sunlight.
Cleaning
Use a clean, soft, lint-free cloth to clean the disk, working from the center
outwards in a straight line. Do not use solvents such as petrol, thinners,
commercially available cleaners or antistatic sprays for vinyl disks.

of repairs (both during and after the warranty period) you should contact your local dealer.
Important note: It is not possible to send products that need repairs to Lenco directly.
Important note: If this unit is opened or accessed by a non-official service center in any way,

This device is not suitable for professional use. In case of professional use, all warranty
obligations of the manufacturer will be voided.

VOORZICHTIG:
Het gebruik van bedieningen of afstellingen of het uitvoeren van procedures anders dan

VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN VÓÓR GEBRUIK
NEEM DEZE INSTRUCTIES IN ACHT:
1. Bedek of blokkeer geen van de ventilatieopeningen. Als u het apparaat op een schap

27. Als het product wordt geleverd met een voedingskabel of AC-stroomadapter:
⚫Als er problemen optreden, koppel de AC-voedingskabel dan los en laat
reparaties over aan bevoegd personeel.
⚫Niet op de stroomadapter gaan staan of deze indrukken. Wees zeer voorzichtig,
vooral in de buurt van de stekkers en waar de kabel uit het apparaat komt. Plaats
geen zware voorwerpen op de stroomadapter, om beschadiging ervan te
voorkomen. Houd het gehele apparaat buiten bereik van kinderen! Wanneer
kinderen met de voedingskabel spelen, kunnen zij ernstig letsel oplopen.
⚫Koppel dit apparaat los tijdens onweer of wanneer deze voor een lange periode
niet wordt gebruikt.
⚫Het stopcontact moet in de buurt van de apparatuur zijn geïnstalleerd en
eenvoudig te bereiken zijn.
⚫Zorg ervoor stopcontacten of verlengsnoeren niet te overbelasten. Overbelasting
kan tot brand of elektrische schokken leiden.

⚫Apparaten met een klasse 1 constructie moeten worden aangesloten op een
stopcontact met een beschermende aardeverbinding.
⚫Apparaten met een klasse 2 constructie vereisen geen aardeverbinding.
⚫Houd altijd de stekker vast wanneer u deze uit het stopcontact trekt. Trek niet

⚫Risico op ontploffing als de batterij incorrect is geïnstalleerd. Vervang alleen door

⚫Stel de batterij niet bloot aan extreem hoge of lage temperaturen of een lage
luchtdruk op grote hoogte tijdens gebruik, opslag of transport.
⚫Vervanging van een batterij door een incorrect type kan leiden tot een
ontploffing of de lekkage van ontvlambare vloeistoffen of gas.
⚫Verwijdering van een batterij in vuur of een hete oven of het mechanisch
verpletteren of snijden van een batterij kan leiden tot een ontploffing.
⚫Laat een batterij nooit achter in omgevingen met extreem hoge temperaturen,
anders kan dit leiden tot een ontploffing of de lekkage van ontvlambare
vloeistoffen of gas.
⚫Stel een batterij nooit bloot aan een extreem lage luchtdruk, anders kan dit
leiden tot een ontploffing of de lekkage van ontvlambare vloeistoffen of gas.
⚫Houd rekening met de impact op het milieu bij het afdanken van batterijen.
INSTALLATIE
•Pak alle onderdelen uit en verwijder het beschermende materiaal.
•Sluit het apparaat niet aan op het lichtnet voordat de correcte netspanning is
geverifieerd en alle andere aansluitingen tot stand zijn gebracht.

BATTERIJEN INSTALLEREN
1. Om de batterijklep te openen: Gebruik de schroevendraaier om de schroef te lossen, trek aan de batterijklep
(zoals afgebeeld in het schema).
2. Plaats de batterijen ervoor zorgend dat de “+” en “-“einden van de batterijen overeenkomstig zijn (zoals
afgebeeld in het schema).
3. Indien de batterijen niet correct geplaatst zijn, zal het toestel niet werken.
4. Indien het geluid zwak of onhelder wordt, vervang dan alle batterijen.
5. Indien het toestel lange tijd niet gebruikt wordt, verwijder dan de batterijen om lekkage of mogelijke schade
aan het toestel te vermijden.
De verpakking moet bewaard worden omdat het belangrijke informatie bevat.
Auto standby
Als u de media afspeelt vanaf een aangesloten apparaat, dan gaat het toestel automatisch over naar standby
indien:
•Er gedurende 10 minuten geen knop ingedrukt wordt,
•Geen audio vanaf een aangesloten apparaat gedurende 10 minuten.
Bediening
Draai de AAN/UIT-knop om het toestel AAN en UIT te schakelen.
Het volume aanpassen
Draai de Volumeknop in wijzerzin om het volume te verhogen.
Draai de Volumeknop in tegenwijzerzin om het volume te verlagen.
Het volume van de Microfoon aanpassen
Draai de MIC Volumeknop in wijzerzin om het volume van de microfoon te verhogen.
Draai de MIC Volumeknop in tegenwijzerzin om het volume van de microfoon te verlagen.

Bluetooth-modus
U moet meerdere stappen volgen om uw mobiele telefoon aan te sluiten:
1. Activeer Bluetooth vanuit uw mobiele telefoon (lees de handleiding van uw telefoon)
2. Draai de POWER-knop om het toestel aan te zetten, druk dan herhaaldelijk op de knop MODE tot de
“BT.” indicator verschijnt op het scherm. Het apparaat is gereed om automatisch te koppelen.
3. Gebruik uw mobiele telefoon om te zoeken naar het Bluetooth apparaat met de naam “Lenco KCD-
011kids”.
4. Selecteer “Lenco KCD-011kids” op uw telefoon en het toont de optie om te verbinden of niet. Maak de
verbinding met het wachtwoord “0000” (indien aanwezig). Als u met succes verbonden bent, verschijnt
de Bluetooth indicator “BT” op het scherm.
Automatisch Verbinden met Uw Telefoon
Het koppelen is enkel nodig de eerste keer dat het toestel en de telefoon samen gebruikt worden. Als het toestel
en de telefoon een keer gekoppeld zijn, zullen ze automatisch verbinding maken als het toestel aan is en
Bluetooth geactiveerd is op de telefoon. De volgende keer dat u het aanzet, zal het toestel automatisch verbinding
maken met de recentst aangesloten mobiele telefoon.
Afspelen van het Bluetooth Apparaat
Na het succesvol verbinden van de Bluetooth, druk op de knop PLAY/PAUSE om af te spelen. Druk op de knop
F.SKIP of B.SKIP om de liedjes achterwaarts of voorwaarts over te slaan. Om het afspelen te pauzeren of te
hervatten, druk opnieuw op de knop PLAY/PAUSE. Druk en houd de knop PLAY/PAUSE ingedrukt om alle
gekoppelde Bluetooth apparaten los te koppelen.
Een compact disc (CD) afspelen
OPMERKING: De laserlens binnen het CD compartiment nooit aanraken. Reinig de laserlens met een CD
reinigingsdisc indien het vuil wordt.
1. Draai de POWER-knop om het toestel aan te zetten.
2. Druk herhaaldelijk op de knop MODE om de CD-functie te selecteren.
3. Open de Cd-klep en plaats een CD in de lade (met de bedrukte labelkant naar boven).
4. Sluit de CD-KLEP en de disc zal enkele seconden draaien, en dan automatisch het 1ste liedje afspelen.
5. Om het afspelen tijdelijk te stoppen, druk op de knop PLAY/PAUSE, en om het afspelen te hervatten,
opnieuw indrukken.
6. Druk op de knop STOP om het afspelen te stoppen.
ACHTERWAARTS/VOORWAARTS
1. De knoppen F.SKIP en B.SKIP die gebruikt worden om naar een ander liednummer te springen of ingedrukt
houden om de disc tracks te scannen tegen hoge snelheid.
2. Druk éénmaal op de knop B.SKIP om naar het begin van het huidige liedje te gaan. Druk het twee of meerdere
keren in om de vorige liedjes op de disc te horen.
3. Druk op de knop F.SKIP om het afspelen van de volgende liedjes op de disc te starten.
4. Druk en houd de knop B.SKIP ingedrukt; het huidige liedje zal worden teruggespoeld naar de start van de
track(s); Als het gewenste liedgedeelte gevonden is, los dan de knop en het normaal afspelen zal worden
hervat.
5. Druk en houd de knop F.SKIP ingedrukt, het huidige liedje zal snel naar de volgende track(s) gaan.
Als het gewenste liedgedeelte gevonden is, los de geselecteerde knop en het normaal afspelen zal hervat
worden.
HERHAALFUNCTIE
De CD HERHAAL knop kan gebruikt worden om een enkel liedje te herhalen of alle liedjes op een compact disc
herhalen.
Om het enkel-liedje herhaalfunctie te selecteren, kies het liedje dat u wilt herhalen, druk dan één maal op de
knop REPEAT om het enkel liedje herhalen te activeren. Druk op de knop PLAY/PAUSE om het liedje af te
spelen. Om de functie “All Tracks Repeat” (“Alle liedjes herhalen”) te selecteren, druk twee maal op de knop
REPEAT om de functie “All Tracks Repeat” (“Alle liedjes herhalen”) te activeren. Druk op de knop
PLAY/PAUSE om het liedje te starten.

PROGRAMMA FUNCTIE
De Programma functie kan gebruikt worden om tot 20 liedjes te programmeren en af te spelen in een
geselecteerde volgorde.
1. Druk op de knop STOP om het nummer van alle tracks, zoals ”20” te tonen.
2. Druk éénmaal op de knop PROGRAM, de LED DISPLAY toont “01”,
3. Druk op de knop F.SKIP (VOORWAARTS OVERSLAAN) of B.SKIP (ACHTERWAARTS OVERSLAAN) om een
liedje te selecteren.
4. Druk opnieuw op de knop PROGRAM om het geselecteerde track nummer op te slaan.
5. Herhaal de stappen 2 en 3 hierboven om andere liedjes te programmeren.
6. Druk op de knop PLAY/PAUSE om het geprogrammeerd afspelen te starten.
7. Om de geprogrammeerde sequentie te wissen, druk twee maal op de knop STOP.
OPMERKING: Een maximum van 20 liedjes kan worden geprogrammeerd om af te spelen in om het even
welke volgorde.
DISC SECTIE Sing
1. Plaats een disc in de CD-speler.
2. Druk op de knop PLAY/PAUSE.
3. Glijd MICROFOON AAN/UIT schakelaar naar de AAN-stand tijdens het zingen.
4. Pas de knop VOLUME MIC aan tot het gewenste volumepeil.
OPMERKING: Plaats de microfoon niet te dicht bij de luidspreker want een microfoon te dicht bij de
luidspreker kan feedback veroorzaken (krijsend geluid) door de luidspreker.

WAARSCHUWING! Risico op gehoorschade
1. Vermijd extreem hoog volume, vooral over langere periodes of bij frequent
gebruik. Extreem hoog volume kan leiden tot permanente gehoorschade.

Betreffende de disks
Behandeling
Raak niet aan de onderkant van disks.
Houd disks vast langs de randen zodat u geen vingerafdrukken op het oppervlak
achterlaat. Stof, vingerafdrukken of krassen kunnen leiden tot een defect.
Bevestig geen label of kleverige tape op de disk.

Opslag
Plaats disks terug in hun hoes na gebruik.
Stel disks nooit bloot aan rechtstreeks zonlicht of warmtebronnen. Laat nooit
disks achter in een auto die geparkeerd staat in vol zonlicht.
Reiniging
Gebruik een propere, zachte, doek zonder pluisjes om de disk te reinigen,
werkend vanuit het centrum naar buiten in een rechte lijn. Gebruik geen
oplosmiddelen zoals benzine, verdunners, commercieel verkrijgbare
reinigingsproducten of antistatische sprays voor vinyl disks.

Lenco verleent service en garantie in overeenstemming met de Europese wetgeving, wat
betekent dat u bij reparaties (zowel tijdens als na de garantieperiode) contact dient op te
nemen met uw lokale dealer.
Belangrijke opmerking: Het is niet mogelijk om te repareren producten direct naar Lenco te
sturen.
