Instruction Manual
Please read and retain these instructions for future reference.
Model no: TR120 | Batch no: PR3792
The illustrations used in the manual are to illustrate the operation method and
product structure of the product. Where there is a small difference between the
physical item and the illustrations, please take the physical as the standard.
CAUTION - HOT! The heated towel rail is hot when it is in use. To avoid
burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Please read and retain these instructions for future reference.
Remove the appliance from it’s packaging and check that it is in good condition
before use.
Do not let children play with any parts of the packaging (such as plastic bags, etc.).
Check the household voltage matches the appliances rated specification.
Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
The appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capacity. Persons who have not read the manual,
unless they have received explanations by a person responsible for their safety
and supervision should not use this unit.
The appliance is designed for indoor household use only. Do not use it outdoors.
The heated towel rail is intended for use in bathrooms or laundry areas.
Never immerse the appliance or plug in water or other liquid.
Always unplug the appliance when not in use. Never unplug the appliance by
pulling on the power cord. Unplug it by holding the plug.
Do not touch the appliance, the power cord or power plug with wet hands.
The appliance does not contain any serviceable parts inside. Do not attempt to
open and repair the unit yourself. All components should only be serviced by a
qualified technician.
Do not use the heated trowel rail if the plug, power cable or heated towel rail
itself are damaged.
If the power cord is damaged, you must have it replaced at a service centre with
qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
Do not use the heated towel rail with a timer or separate remote control system.
Do not use the heated towel rail with an extension lead, power board or double
adaptor.
Plug the cord directly into an appropriate power point. To provide continued
protection against risk of electric shock, connect it to properly grounded power
points only.
Do not connect the plug into a power point which is exposed to splashing
The heated towel rail must not be located immediately below a power point.
In order to avoid a hazard for very young children, this appliance should be
installed so that the lowest heated rail is at least 600 mm above floor level.
Ensure that the heated towel rail is installed at least 0.6 m from basins, bathtubs
and showers.
The heated towel rail is to be installed so that switches and other controls cannot
be touched by a person in the bath or shower.
Do not use the power cord under floor mats or carpet to avoid the danger of trip
hazard. Arrange the power cord away from traffic areas so that it will not be
tripped over by anyone.
Do not place any objects inserted into vents and exhaust ports, as it may cause an
electric shock, fire and damage the product.
Do not use the appliance in areas where gasoline, paints, or flammable liquids are
used or stored.
Use this product strictly as description in this manual to avoid the cause of fire,
electric shock, or injury to persons.
Unplug the heated towel rail while it is not in use or before cleaning.
Do not wrap the heated towel rail with towels, quilts when in use. Just lay the
towels and quilts on the unit.
This appliance is intended only for drying textiles washed in water.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
1. Select the installation location.
Mark 4 circles of each corner on the
wall.
Then find the center of each of the
marked circles to drill holes.
2. Insert the wall plug into the 4 holes as
illustrate at right.
3. Put the self-tapping screws through the center hole of the clubfoot and fix
it to the wall.
4. Fix 4 feet to the clubfeet, screw up the feet with a wrench until totally fixed.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Ensure the installation has been completed.
2. Plug the power cord into a power point.
2. Press the power switch to the (l) position, the power indicator will light up and
the heated towel rail will start to work.
2.Press the power switch to the [o] position, the power indicator light will be off
and the heated towel rail will stop working.
CLEANING
1. Before cleaning, turn the heated towel rail off and disconnect it from the power
point. Allow it to cool down.
2. Do not put the product, power cord and plug into the water. Keep the cord dry.
3. Never clean the product with alcohol or solvent-based cleansers.
4. Clean the surface with a soft damp cloth first and then dry it with a soft cloth.
NOTE: Do not use a scourer or a rough cloth to wipe the towel rail, it will scratch
the surface of the product.
5. Do not us alcohol or solvents on plastic components, it will cause the cracking
and ageing of these parts.
