Safety Precautions
The lightning flash with an arrowhead symbol within an equilateral triangle is
intended to alert the user of the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage"
within the product's enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a
risk of electric shock to persons.
Warning: Risk of electric shock, do not open the battery cover, the back battery cover for
your safety.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user
of the presence of important operating and maintenance (servicing) instructions
in the literature accompanying the appliance.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions:
(1) This device may not cause harmful interference,
(2) This device must accept any interference received.
Including interference that may cause undesired operation.
Warning: Do not expose this appliance to rain or moisture, due to the high risk of fire or
electric shock. And do not open the cabinet for dangerous high voltages are present inside
the enclosure. Only qualified service personnel should attempt this.
Caution: During playback, the disc spins at high speed, so do not lift or move the player,
doing so may damage the disc.
CAUTION: This Digital Video Disc Player employs a Laser System. There are no user
serviceable parts therefore refer all servicing to qualified personnel. Visible laser radiation
when open and interlocks defeated. Use of controls or adjustments or performance of
procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

Introduction
This new portable DVD player is designed for enjoyment of all forms of disc media. And it
has USB and SD/MMC port automatic identification, compatible with various formats of AV
files. It's slim shape allows it to be easily carried.
This player incorporates the latest digital audio/video (AV) technologies to give you
the ultimate in listening and viewing pleasure.
This new player also supports CD, and JPEG. This player also has several unique
features, large LCD screen, multi-angle and multi-language, Parental Control (to
prevent children from viewing inappropriate content), and Kodak Picture CD
compatibility.

SUGGESTED CONNECTIONS

Remote Control
(1) SUB-T: Press to cycle between the subtitle tracks
Present on the disc.
(2) Power: Turn on the player or switch it to standby
mode.
(3) GOTO: Jump to a user specified time during playback.
(4) REPEAT: The specific repeat mode is different
according disc type.
DVD: RepeatCH>RepeatTT>RepeatAll>Repeat Off.
CD/VCD: Repeat track>Repeat all> Repeat Off.
Playlist: Repeat file>Repeat playlist>Repeat Off.
(5) DVD/USB: Press to switch inputs from DVD to USB
(6) VOL-: Decreases volume.
(7) UP: Navigates through the Menus
(8) TOP MENU: To open the Top menu of BD/DVD
video disc
(9) OK: Confirms an entry or selection
(10) LEFT: Navigates through the Menus
(11) SETUP: Access the SETUP menu.
(12) NUMBERS: For direct channel access.
(13) SLOW: Press for slow frame playback.
(14) PROG: Edit the program and play.
(15) ANGLE: Press to cycle between the camera
angles present on the disc
(16) AUDIO: Select an audio language.
(17) FAST FORWARD: Search forward.
(18) FAST REVERSE: Search backward.
(19) MUTE: To mute the sound and press again to
restore.
(20) Open or close the disc compartment.
(21) DISPLAY the current status or the disc information.
(22) VOL+: Increases volume.
(23) TITLE: To open the Title menu of a disc.
(24) RIGHT: Navigates through the Menus.
(25) RETURN: Return to a previous display menu.
(26) DOWN: Navigates through the Menus.
(27) CLEAR: To clear an entry.
(28) A-B: Press A-B can repeat playback of a user defined section.
(29) ZOOM: To zoom it or zoom out.
(30) STOP: Stop play.
(31) PLAY/ PAUSE: Start (resume) / pause play.
(32) PREV: Skip to the previous title, chapter or track.
(33) NEXT: Skip to the next title, chapter or track.

Remote Control Batteries
1. Open the battery compartment.
2. Insert 2 batteries AAA with the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.
NOTE:
If you are not going to use the remote control for a long time, remove the batteries.
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.
Batteries can contain corrosive substances, so they should be disposed of properly.
CAUTION
Due to a risk of explosion. Keep batteries away from heat, direct sunshine or fire. Never
discard batteries in fire.

Using the remote control
1. To control the device using the remote control, point the remote control at the device
and then press the button with the required function. The effective range of the remote
control is up to 7 meters with a max deviation of +/- 30°from the perpendicular
direction to the reception sensor of the remote control on the front side of the device.
The falling capacity of the batteries gradually reduces the remote control range.
2. There must be no solid obstacles in the area between the remote control and the
device when the remote control is being used.
3. During standard use the lifetime of batteries in the remote control is about 1 year.
When the effective range of the remote control is substantially reduced, or when there
are problems with its use, change both the batteries in the remote control.
4. If you will not be using the remote control for a longer period of time, take out both
batteries - in this way you will prevent potential damage caused by their leakage.
Note:
If you get stored the device or you do not using for a long time, remove the batteries.

Operation
General Setup:
1. Press the / / / buttons on the Remote Contol to open the General
menu.
2. Eight submenus will appear (read more about the sub-menus later in this
paragraph),press the / buttons on the Remote Control to circle between the
sub-menus.
3. Press the / buttons to leave/enter a sub-menu
4. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will appear for the entered sub-menu
5. To leave the opened menu, press the button twice.
→Tv Shape:Set the aspect ratio of the DVD Player.
→Angle Mark: Turn on/off the Angle mark function.
→Osd Lang: Select a language for the OSD setup.
→Captions: Display closed captions (if available).
→Screen Saver: Select a screen saver for when the TV display goes into standby.
→Hdcd: Select a output audio signal.
→Last Memory: Resume the memorized playback.
→MP3 Lyric: Turn on/off the mp3 Lyric.

Audio Setup:
1. Press the / / / buttons on the Remote Contol to open the Audio menu.
2. Eight submenus will appear (read more about the sub-menus later in this
paragraph),press the / buttons on the Remote Control to circle between the
sub-menus.
3. Press the / buttons to leave/enter a sub-menu
4. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will appear for the entered sub-menu
5. To leave the opened menu, press the button twice.
→Speaker Setup:Select the stereo output.
LT/RT: Switch between left/right audio channel.
Stereo: Select to play the audio via the two front speakers of the TV.
→Digital Audio Setup: Set HDMI as the audio output.
→Karaoke Setup: the setup for the Karaoke.

Video Setup:
1. Press the / / / buttons on the Remote Contol to open the Video menu.

paragraph),press the / buttons on the Remote Control to circle between the
sub-menus.
3. Press the / buttons to leave/enter a sub-menu
4. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will appear for the entered sub-menu
5. To leave the opened menu, press the button twice.
→Output Mode: Off,Yuv,Rgb.
→Resolution: Set the corresponding resolution.
→Quality: Setup the sharpness,brightness ,contrast ,gamma ,hue and saturation.
→HDMI Setup: HDMI,Audio source,DEEP_COLOR.

Preference Setup:
1. Press the / / / buttons on the Remote Contol to open the Preference
menu.
2. Eight submenus will appear (read more about the sub-menus later in this
paragraph),press the / buttons on the Remote Control to circle between the
sub-menus.
3. Press the / buttons to leave/enter a sub-menu
4. When you enter a sub-menu, a number of options will appear for the entered sub-menu
5. To leave the opened menu, press the button twice.
→Tv Type:Select the color system (PAL/NTSC/Multi) of your TV.
→PBC: Select if the playback of the disc starts directly of to enter the disc meny when
playing a VCD disc.

→Subtitle: Select a subtitle language (if available).
→Disc Menu: Set the language for the menu of the DVD disc (if available).
→Parental: Set the parental level of the DVD disc (if available).
→Password: Open the sub menu for the password settings.
Note: The default password is 123456.
→Default: Reset the settings to thefactory settings.

Troubleshooting
Problem
Solution
No power
Make sure that the power plug is connected correctly to the
wall outlet.
No video
Make sure that the video cables are connected correctly.
Reset the setups of the DVD Player.
No audio
Make sure that the audio cables are connected correctly.
Make sure that the coaxial connected stereo is powered on.
Reset the setups of the DVD Player.
Distorted video
Clean DVD disc from dust/dirt.
The playback is fast winding backward/forward.
Unable to play
Place a DVD disc in the Disc Tray.
Place the disc with the correct side up.
Clean DVD disc from dust/dirt.
Close the setup of the DVD Player.
Remote Control does not
work
Aim the Remote Control towards the front panel of the DVD
Player.
Use the Remote Control closer to the DVD Player.
Check the battery level of the batteries.
