1 Introduction
With the hair clipper, you can have professional hair styling results right at home! This
hair clipper features a lightweight housing that is extremely durable and has a convenient
thumb controlled switch for one-hand on/off.
The design of this model and the materials it is made of, allows you to wash the tip of the
unit, consisted of the cutting blades and the adjustable comb, under the jet of water.
2 Safety instructions
When using electrical appliances, especially when children are present, basic safety
precautions should always be followed, including the following:
2.1 Electrical safety and protection
• Check if the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains
voltage before you connect the appliance.
• This product is washable, but may not be used while bathing or in a shower.
• Never put the clipper into water. This model only allows to rinse the blades under
the water jet.
• Unplug this appliance before cleaning.
• Do not place or store appliance near a bath tub or sink.
• Do not place in, or drop into water or other liquid.
• Do not reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
• Do not operate the equipment if the mains plug, cable or the equipment itself is
damaged.
• If the equipment is dropped, then it must be checked by an electrician before further
use.
• Do not touch the charger and plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
• Children frequently underestimate the dangers associated with electrical equipment.
Therefore you must never leave children unsupervised in the vicinity of electrical
equipment.
• Equipment connected to the mains during a thunderstorm can be damaged by
lightning. Therefore you should pull the plug out of the mains socket during a storm.
• To completely disconnect the equipment from the electricity supply, the plug must be
removed from the socket. When doing this always pull on the plug itself and never
on the cable.
• Protect the mains cable from hot surfaces or other sources of damage and do not
allow it to become constrained.
• Check the mains cable regularly for any damage.
• Unwind the mains cable completely before use.
• Make sure that the mains cable does not represent a trip hazard.
Read this manual carefully before use. Put the user guide
away in a safe place for future reference.

2.2 Personal safety
• Use this appliance only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use
attachments, which are not recommended by the manufacturer.
• Keep the hair clipper out of children’s reach.
• This appliance should never be left unattended when plugged in.
• Close supervision is necessary when this appliance is used on, or near children or
invalids.
• Never operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord or plug, it is not working
properly.
• Never drop or insert any object into this appliance.
• Before use, make certain blades are aligned properly.
• Do not place appliance on any surface while it is operating.
• Do not use this appliance with a damaged or broken comb nor with teeth missing
from the blades so injury may occur.
• Do not carry out any modifications or repairs to the equipment yourself. Have
repairs done to the equipment or the mains cable only by a specialist service centre.
Unsatisfactory repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user.
2.3 Batteries and charging
• Never recharge the battery when temperatures are below 0°C or above 40°C.
• Avoid recharging the battery in direct sunlight or near a radiating heat source.
2.4 Important
• It is normal for the clipper to become warm when in use or recharging.
• Do not move the clipper by its power cord, it may detach and damage the clipper.

4 Using the hair clipper
The hair clipper can be used, directly connected to the main power
or cordless, using the charged build-in batteries.
4.1 Directly connected to the main power
Make sure that the On/Off switch is on the Off position.
• Insert the power cord plug into the socket at the bottom of
the clipper.
• Plug the AC-adaptor into an AC outlet (230V-50Hz).
• Push the On/Off switch to the ‘On’ position for use.
• After use, push the On/Off switch back to ‘Off’.
4.2 Using the charging function
Make sure that the On/Off switch is on the Off position.
• Insert the power cord plug of the AC-adaptor into the socket located on the left side
of the desktop charging cradle .
• Put the hair clipper into the desktop charging cradle .
• Plug the AC-adaptor into an AC outlet. It will start recharging the battery.
The clipper can work for about 60min. after 7 hours charge.
To use, remove the hair clipper out of the desktop charging cradle and push the On/
Off switch to the ‘On’ position
Do not charge the appliance for more than 24 hours.
The charging light will not go out or change colour when the appliance
is fully charged.
Only charge the clipper when the battery is (almost) empty.
4.3 Using the adjustable hair length comb
The adjustable comb can be used for adjusting the cutting hair length in 4, 8, 12, 16
or 20mm.
• Slide the comb attachment into the guiding grooves of the clipper. Make sure that
the arms of the comb attachment have been properly slid into the grooves on both
sides.
• Hold the clipper with the blades upwards.
• Press the comb lock with the thumb and slide the comb forward or backward until it
reaches the length you desire.
• Release the comb and verify it is locked.
4.4 Thinning function
With this function, you can reduce the volume of the hair without changing the hair
length. Use the thinning switch adjustment to change the thinning length.

4.5 Tips & tricks
4.5.1 General
• The person whose hair you want to cut should sit in a position where the top of the
head is at your eye level.
• The hair should be clean, well combed, tangle-free and dry.
• Ensure you have a firm, but relaxed grip on the clipper.
• Start clipping at the highest setting and reduce the hair length in small steps until
you reach the desired hair length.
• If a lot of hair has accumulated in the comb, remove the comb attachment and
blow and/or shake the hair from the comb.
• Use a slow and controlled movement. Do not force the clipper through the hair
faster than the clipper can cut it.
4.5.2 Clipping or trimming without distance comb
• Remove the adjustable comb .
• Move the cutting system only in a parallel position to the skin.
• Slowly and carefully move the appliance against the direction of hair growth.
• Only when trimming contours should the cutting system be positioned vertically.
• Make sure you do not tilt the appliance while it is touching the skin.
• Avoid intense movements while cutting.
5 Maintenance
5.1 Cleaning
Clean the appliance every time you have used it.
The design of this model and the materials it is made of, allows you to wash the tip of the
unit, consisted of cutting blades and combs, under the jet of water.
Make sure the appliance is switched off and disconnected from the mains when
you start cleaning it.
Do not use abrasives, scourers or liquids such as alcohol, petrol or acetone to
clean the appliance.
Do not immerse the unit completely under water. This will damage the unit.
• Hold the unit with the blades downwards.
• Rinse the blades and comb under the water jet.
• Dry the tip of the unit with a soft cloth.
The body of the unit and the adapter may only be cleaned
with the brush supplied.

5.2 Blade maintenance
To maintain your clipper in good condition, the blades should be
oiled every few haircuts.
Do not use hair oil, grease, oil mixed with kerosene ore any solvent. As
the solvent will evaporate and leave the thick oil, which may block the
blades motion.
1. Remove the comb attachment by pressing the comb lock and by
sliding it from the appliance.
2. Push the middle part of the cutting unit upwards with your thumb
until it opens and then pull it off the appliance.
3. Be careful that the cutting unit does not fall to the floor.
4. Clean the cutting unit with the brush supplied.
5. Oil the blades.
6. Align and click the blades back to the unit.

7 Disposal of the device
At the end of the product lifecycle, you should not throw this product into the
normal household garbage but bring the product to a collection point for the
recycling of electrical and electronic equipments. The symbol on the product,
user guide and/or box indicate this.
Some of the product materials can be re-used if you bring them to a recycling
point. By re-using some parts or raw materials from used products you make an
important contribution to the protection of the environment. Please contact your local
authorities in case you need more information on the collection points in your area.
8 Levita warranty
8.1 Warranty period
The Levita units have a 24-month warranty period. The warranty period starts on the day
the new unit is purchased. Levita does not give any warranty on standard or
rechargeable batteries (AA/AAA type). Consumables or defects causing a negligible
effect on operation or value of the equipment are not covered.
The warranty has to be proven by presentation of the original or copy of the purchase
receipt, on which the date of purchase and the unit-model are indicated.

8.2 Warranty handling
A faulty unit needs to be returned to a Levita service centre including a valid purchase
note. If the unit develops a fault during the warranty period, Levita or its officially
appointed service centre will repair any defects caused by material or manufacturing
faults free of charge.
Levita will at its discretion fulfill its warranty obligations by either repairing or exchanging
the faulty units or parts of the faulty units. In case of replacement, color and model can
be different from the original purchased unit.
The initial purchase date shall determine the start of the warranty period. The warranty
period is not extended if the unit is exchanged or repaired by Levita or its appointed
service centers.
8.3 Warranty exclusions
Damage or defects caused by incorrect treatment or operation and damage resulting
from use of non-original parts or accessories not recommended by Levita are not
covered by the warranty.
The warranty does not cover damage caused by outside factors, such as lightning, water
and fire, nor any damage caused during transportation. No warranty can be claimed if
the serial number on the units has been changed, removed or rendered illegible.
Any warranty claims will be invalid if the unit has been repaired, altered or modified by the
buyer or by unqualified, non-officially appointed Levita service centers.
The CE symbol indicates that the unit complies with the essential
requirements of the directive 89/336/EEC.

1 Introducción
¡Con esta maquinilla para cortar el pelo puede obtener resultados profesionales sin salir
de casa! Esta maquinilla presenta una carcasa ligera y sumamente resistente y un
cómodo interruptor que se acciona con el pulgar para encenderla y apagarla con una
sola mano.
El diseño de este modelo y los materiales con los que está fabricado le permiten lavar
el cabezal de la unidad, formado por las cuchillas y el peine ajustable, con agua
corriente.
2 Instrucciones de seguridad
Al utilizar dispositivos eléctricos, especialmente en presencia de niños, deben tenerse
en cuenta las precauciones de seguridad, entre ellas:
2.1 Seguridad y protección eléctricas
• Antes de conectar el dispositivo, compruebe que la tensión indicada en este
coincida con la tensión de la red local.
• Este producto se puede lavar, pero no deberá utilizarse mientras se esté tomando
un baño o en la ducha.
• Nunca ponga la maquinilla dentro del agua. En este modelo solo se pueden lavar
las cuchillas con agua corriente.
• Desenchufe el dispositivo antes de limpiarlo.
• No coloque ni guarde el dispositivo cerca de una bañera o un lavamanos.
• No lo coloque en ni lo tire al agua u otro líquido.
• No toque un dispositivo que se haya caído en el agua. Desenchúfelo
inmediatamente.
• No utilice el equipo si el enchufe, el cable o el propio equipo están dañados.
• Si el equipo ha sufrido una caída, debe ser comprobado por un electricista antes de
seguir usándolo.
• No toque los contactos del cargador ni del enchufe con objetos afilados o metálicos.
• Los niños suelen subestimar los peligros asociados a los equipos eléctricos. Por lo
tanto, no debe dejar nunca a un niño sin vigilancia cerca del equipo eléctrico.
• Un equipo conectado a la red eléctrica durante una tormenta puede resultar dañado
por un rayo. Por tanto, es recomendable desenchufar el equipo de la toma eléctrica
en caso de tormenta.
• Para desconectar completamente el equipo de la alimentación, el enchufe debe
estar fuera de la toma eléctrica. Al hacerlo, tire siempre del propio enchufe y nunca
del cable.
• Mantenga el cable de alimentación alejado de superficies calientes o de cualquier
otro elemento que pueda provocarle daños, y no deje que quede oprimido.
• Compruebe regularmente el cable de alimentación por si presentase algún daño.
• Estire completamente el cable de alimentación antes de su uso.
• Asegúrese de que el cable de alimentación no representa un riesgo de tropiezo.
Lea atentamente este manual antes de utilizar el aparato.

2.2 Seguridad personal
• Utilice este dispositivo únicamente para los fines descritos en este manual. No
utilice accesorios no recomendados por el fabricante.
• Mantenga la maquinilla fuera del alcance de los niños.
• Este dispositivo nunca debe dejarse desatendido mientras esté enchufado.
• Vigile el dispositivo en todo momento cuando se esté utilizando con o en presencia
de niños o personas discapacitadas.
• No utilice nunca este dispositivo si el enchufe o el cable están dañados o si no
funciona correctamente.
• No deje caer ni introduzca objetos en el dispositivo.
• Antes de utilizarlo, asegúrese de que las cuchillas estén alineadas correctamente.
• No apoye el dispositivo sobre ninguna superficie mientras está en funcionamiento.
• No utilice este dispositivo con un peine dañado o roto o si faltan dientes en las
cuchillas, ya que podría provocar lesiones.
• No realice ninguna modificación ni reparación en el equipo usted mismo. Las
reparaciones del equipo o del cable de alimentación solo pueden llevarse a cabo en
un centro de servicio especializado. Una mala reparación puede provocar un
peligro considerable para el usuario.
2.3 Pilas y carga
• No recargue nunca la pila con una temperatura ambiente inferior a 0 ºC o superior a
40 ºC.
• Evite recargar la pila en un lugar expuesto a la luz directa del sol o cerca de fuentes
de calor.
2.4 Importante
• Es normal que la maquinilla se caliente mientras se está usando o recargando.
• No mueva la maquinilla por el cable de alimentación: este podría desprenderse y
dañar la maquinilla.

4 Uso de la maquinilla para cortar el pelo
La maquinilla para cortar el pelo se puede utilizar conectándola
directamente a la red eléctrica o sin cable, usando las pilas
incorporadas cargadas.
4.1 Conectada directamente a la red eléctrica
Compruebe que el interruptor de encendido / apagado está
en la posición de apagado (Off).
• Inserte la toma del cable de alimentación en la entrada que
se encuentra en la parte inferior de la maquinilla.
• Conecte el adaptador de CA a una toma de CA (230 V-50 Hz).
• Coloque el interruptor de encendido / apagado en la
posición de encendido (On) para utilizar la maquinilla.
• Después de utilizarla, coloque el interruptor de encendido /
apagado en la posición de apagado (Off).
4.2 Uso de la función de carga
Compruebe que el interruptor de encendido / apagado está en la posición de
apagado (Off).
• Inserte la toma del cable de alimentación del adaptador de CA en la entrada que se
encuentra en el lado izquierdo del soporte cargador de sobremesa .
• Coloque la maquinilla para cortar el pelo en el soporte cargador de sobremesa .
• Conecte el adaptador de CA a una toma de CA. La pila comenzará a recargarse.
Tras 7 horas de carga, la maquinilla tendrá una autonomía de 60 minutos.
Para utilizar la maquinilla, retírela del soporte cargador de sobremesa y coloque el
interruptor de encendido / apagado en la posición de encendido (On).
No cargue el dispositivo durante más de 24 horas.
La luz de carga no se apagará ni cambiará de color cuando el dispositivo
esté totalmente cargado.
Cargue la maquinilla únicamente cuando la batería esté (prácticamente) vacía.
4.3 Uso del peine con longitud de corte ajustable
El peine ajustable se puede utilizar para ajustar la longitud de corte del pelo a 4, 8,
12, 16 o 20 mm.
• Deslice el accesorio del peine por las ranuras de guía de la maquinilla. Asegúrese
de que los brazos del accesorio del peine se han deslizado correctamente por las
ranuras de ambos lados.
• Sujete la maquinilla con las cuchillas mirando hacia arriba.
• Presione el cierre del peine con el pulgar y deslice el peine hacia delante o hacia
atrás hasta que alcance la longitud de corte deseada.
• Suelte el peine y compruebe que está bloqueado.

4.4 Función de rebajar
Con esta función podrá reducir el volumen del pelo sin cambiar la longitud de corte.
Cambie la longitud para rebajar con el interruptor de ajuste para rebajar.
4.5 Consejos
4.5.1 General
• La persona a la que vaya a cortarle el pelo debe estar sentada de tal forma que la
parte superior de su cabeza esté a la altura de sus ojos.
• El pelo debe estar limpio, bien peinado, desenredado y seco.
• Procure sujetar la maquinilla con firmeza pero relajado.
• Empiece a cortar en el ajuste máximo y reduzca la longitud de corte
progresivamente hasta alcanzar la longitud deseada.
• Si se acumula mucho pelo en el peine, retire el accesorio del peine y sóplelo y/o
agítelo para quitar el pelo de este.
• Realice movimientos lentos y controlados. No fuerce la maquinilla para que corte el
pelo más rápidamente de lo que puede.
4.5.2 Cortar o rebajar sin el peine ajustable
• Retire el peine ajustable .
• Mueva el sistema de corte únicamente en paralelo a la piel.
• Mueva el dispositivo lentamente y con cuidado en sentido contrario al crecimiento
natural del pelo.
• El sistema de corte solo deberá colocarse en posición vertical para perfilar los
contornos.
• Evite inclinar el dispositivo mientras esté en contacto con la piel.
• Evite realizar movimientos bruscos mientras esté cortando.
5 Mantenimiento
5.1 Limpieza
Limpie el dispositivo después de cada uso.
El diseño de este modelo y los materiales con los que está fabricado le permiten lavar
el cabezal de la unidad, formada por cuchillas y peines, con agua corriente.
Compruebe que el dispositivo está apagado y desconectado de la fuente de
alimentación antes de empezar a limpiarlo.
No utilice agentes abrasivos, detergentes o líquidos como alcohol, gasolina o
acetona para limpiar el dispositivo.
No sumerja la unidad completamente en agua, ya que esto la dañará.
• Sujete la unidad con las cuchillas mirando hacia abajo.
• Lave las cuchillas y el peine con agua corriente.
• Seque el cabezal de la unidad con un paño suave.
El cuerpo de la unidad y el adaptador solo pueden limpiarse
con el cepillo suministrado.

5.2 Mantenimiento de las cuchillas
Para mantener su maquinilla en buen estado, deberá lubricar las
cuchillas después de varios cortes de pelo.
No utilice aceite capilar, grasa, aceite mezclado con queroseno u otro
disolvente. El disolvente se evaporará y quedará el aceite puro, que
podría bloquear las cuchillas.
1. Retire el accesorio del peine presionando el cierre del peine y
deslizándolo para separarlo del dispositivo.
2. Presione la parte central de la unidad de corte hacia arriba con el
pulgar hasta que se suelte y retírela del dispositivo.
3. Procure evitar que la unidad de corte se caiga al suelo.
4. Limpie la unidad de corte con el cepillo suministrado.
5. Lubrique las cuchillas.
6. Alinee las cuchillas y vuelva a insertarlas en la unidad.

7 Eliminación del dispositivo
Al final de su vida útil este producto no debe ser desechado en un contenedor
normal, sino en un punto de recogida destinado al reciclaje de aparatos
eléctricos y electrónicos. Así lo indica el símbolo en el producto, en el manual
de usuario o en la caja.
Si los lleva a un punto de reciclaje, algunos de los materiales del producto
podrán reutilizarse. La reutilización de algunas de las piezas o materias primas de los
productos usados supone una importante contribución a la protección del medio
ambiente. Si necesita más información sobre los puntos de reciclaje existentes en su
zona, póngase en contacto con las autoridades locales correspondientes.
8 Garantía de Levita
8.1 Período de garantía
Las unidades de Levita tienen un período de garantía de 24 meses. El período de
garantía entra en vigor el día en que se adquiere la nueva unidad. Levita no ofrece
ninguna garantía sobre las pilas estándar o recargables (tipo AA/AAA). La garantía no
cubre los consumibles ni los defectos que tengan un efecto insignificante en el
funcionamiento o en el valor del equipo.
La garantía debe demostrarse presentando el comprobante original de compra o una
copia de este, en el que constarán la fecha de la compra y el modelo de la unidad.

8.2 Tratamiento de la garantía
La unidad defectuosa deberá devolverse al centro de servicio de Levita junto con un
comprobante de compra válido. Si la unidad tiene una avería durante el período de
garantía, Levita o su centro de servicio oficial repararán sin cargo alguno cualquier
avería causada por defectos de material o fabricación.
Levita, a su discreción, cumplirá sus obligaciones de garantía reparando o sustituyendo
las unidades defectuosas o las piezas de las unidades defectuosas. En caso de
sustitución, el color y el modelo pueden variar respecto a los de la unidad adquirida
inicialmente.
La fecha de compra inicial determinará el comienzo del período de garantía. Este no se
ampliará si Levita o sus centros de servicio autorizados cambian o reparan la unidad.
8.3 Limitaciones de la garantía
Los daños o defectos causados por un uso incorrecto y los daños resultantes del uso de
piezas o accesorios no originales no recomendados por Levita no están cubiertos por la
garantía.
La garantía no cubre los daños ocasionados por factores externos tales como
relámpagos, agua o fuego, como tampoco los daños causados durante el transporte. La
garantía no será válida si el número de serie de las unidades se cambia, se elimina o
resulta ilegible.
Cualquier reclamación de la garantía se invalidará si la unidad ha sido reparada,
alterada o modificada por el comprador o algún centro de servicio no cualificado o no
designado oficialmente por Levita.
La marca CE corrobora la conformidad del equipo con los
requerimientos básicos de la directiva 89/336/CEE.
